We can choose our friends....but family...are family. So we have to reach out to bless and help, because these are family. We have to be tolerant, understanding, because these folks are family.

God made families......
 
Father I thank you that You are in control. I pray that You will help thomas to be a shining light for You and his brother in law will be attracted to him and they will have a great relationship as You want us to love one another. I pray that they will become the greatest of friends in Jesus' name amen.
 
If you ever feel angry around him or frustrated, just ask yourself "What would Jesus do?" It helps out alot sometimes.

Gracious and Holy father, I thank you for the relationship you are about to restore, you ask us to walk in love, but it's only by your strength that we can humble ourselves and accept others the way you've accepted us.

Lord I ask that your light shine upon them, bind them together with love, give them the mind of Christ, give them words to speak, and remove all negative thoughts from them.

I praise you with thanksgiving, because of who you are.

That about says it all. If we pray to see those "sandpaper" people God allows in our lives; if we ask Him to see them through His eyes, then we will be moved with compassion for them. We will no longer see insult but a person in bondage. Our heart will be moved to prayer and we will feel love for them.
