myspace = alright.

i do have a myspace.
i don't necessarily think that myspace is a bad thing.
although, if abused & used for seriously sinful purposes, then there's no use in making an account.
i have myspace to keep in touch with friends mostly.
& i spread the Word in different ways.
it is a great evangelizing tool.
a million people visit myspace daily, & they can see that there's people that have Jesus in their hearts.

i do disagree with having kids under the age of 14 using myspace.
the maturity, in most cases, isn't there.
you have to be extra careful.
most of these kids do not know proper internet etiquette.
ex: not giving out your number, address, ect.

My kids don't like my space. They have their small contact buddies on msn and that is it.

This forum supplies all the needs of a growing Christian, from teenhood and up. There is so much learning being taught here and so very much support when it is needed. Here we lift each other up and here the Holy Spirit speaks. It is 100% Jesus, who is 100% the beloved Son our Almighty Father.

Why not bring your Christian friends here? Not only is there a great support team, there is a variety of different ways to keep occupied, find Christian fellowship and remain so very devoted to Jesus, who brings us the Holy Spirit.

I am with Chad on this. If you are on myspace, bring your friends here and make this a larger site, to share the love of God. This site is monitored, so that people of all ages don't become offended. Satan doesn't make his home at talkjesus. Talkjesus is too powerful in integrity.

I have a myspace account as well and I think it is great but highly addictive. I have met many Christians from around the world and even started my own group called (The Living Christ). But it is very easy to end up on or get friend request from half naked people or just bad people. You learn how to avoid them.
I mostly go on there for the Christian artist.

You know I see your post and you know yourself that it is highly addictive. Not a good idea to immerse yourself too much. Like I said already, bring your friends here. You won't have to avoid people. Big difference New Justin.
Get em here, come up with some ideas for this site maybe. You know, you could end up being a team leader here.

Chad is always interested in new ideas for this site. I'll tell you Justin, I have always found that when I couldn't figure something out wisdom wise, I would ask my teenagers. You got a lot of common sense you teens and us adults could always use that. And you probably all have a multitude of ideas on how Talk Jesus can serve you and the whole forum better.

The So called dangers of myspace.

Myspace is nothing more than a way of chatting between friends. I see No danger in it enless you make danger for yourself. It is like any other, message board, chat, or any other way of internet communications. All this stuff about people being abducted and such is merely people who give out to much information. The Internet in general is dangerous to an extent if used wrong. Therefore u cant critisize myspace for things u see happening on the news. I myself have a myspace and believe its great. MySpace has grown so big that its staff cannot effectively police it. There have been confirmed cases of pedofiles posing as teenagers on MySpace and other social networking sites and victimizing teens.

i have a myspace, i dont have a problem with it. i've met heaps of people on there and yea, i love it. i've had one since b4 it came really popular and never once have i had some pedophile or sicko contact me. sure - i've had my fair share of weirdo's but u just gotta laugh at them.
