Thanks for the comforting word from John Chapter 14. What great privilege and honor to know Jesus as our Savior and Lord in our world which is in turmoil. I am grateful to Him not only for saving me but for being my all in all. All glory and honor to Him.

hi yes I think photos for the avatars are a good idea! I agree that it might make the atmosphere in touch with that 'human' side of things, in that sense. i mean, i' understand if someone is shy or private (i live in a small country lol!) and they may want to be more obscure, perhaps. but maybe even just a silhouette of the person or cartoonized version of their face, lol. just to get an idea of who we talk to, like a face to face conversation.... thanks (p.s. i was wondering if anyone can please keep me in their prayers for my 'obsessions', which went away after receiving prayer from church, but they've sort of come back. These obsessions are psychological and/or spiritually based, but over i've had them over the last 13 years exactly. they impede how I interact with others, and therefore do the Lords work. basically, they are obsessions with people, where I develop ingrained habitual thoughts about particular people i meet and lose my concentration and genuine relating with people, and rather avoid situations socially. how they pain me daily, and i don't want them. Thank you Jesus I believe you are the healer.. )

Some individuals could agree with what we may say or do while others don't. Dealing with others requires great patience and understanding and love for others - which are part of the fruits of the Spirit. We donot live in ideal world. We all have potential to misunderstand others and also misunderstood as well. The Lord understands our weaknesses as human beings. He does not condemn us whenever we make a mistake. We have his perfect love no matter what. The Bible says in Romans 8:1 - there is ,therefore, no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. You are already accepted in the Beloved and have perfect love from the Lord. the more we understand the Love of God in Christ Jesus, we could stop judging ourselves as well as others wrongly by His grace and love them as they are as the blood bought children of the Living God.

hi thank you Yehwebshuo and everyone here.. yes, I'll try not to rave on and go into details here - as I usually do lol - but I realize now that I do need: a love for people....
I met up with a Christian woman last month who I hadn't met before, and she said she felt she needed to pray for me to get a love for people! I didn't realize it truly, but I think I don't really like people, and am not a people person.
Though I'm known for kindness and sensitivity towards peoples' feelings, and sometimes care, lol, thats about as far as it goes.
I actually think I have NO actual love for people underneath, really. So thanks heaps, and anyone feel free to pray that I cultivate a love for people (I confess that I have actually been cultivating over the years ungodly things like unforgiveness at unkind treatment, resentment, revenge, not really serving others often, a little judgement sometimes, even pre-judging, dislike of hosting people at my house, taking offense, my ease of filing complaints against bullying people, and attraction of conflict at work, etc..). aren't I terrible, lol! not that I haven't been severely tested by people over the last 13 or so years, lol... I've even become a hermit lately, but I'm trying to force myself to be more friendly now in a bid to try and turn it all around.. thanks ^_^

Thanks for your comment. Would you please give examples as to how we could personalize our pages? No one is like Jesus. He is the embodiment of Truth, Life, Wisdom ... etc. Unto Him be all the glory, honor, majesty, worship, praises.

hi yes I remember on a site i was a part of a long time ago that on our page we could copy pictues and things for the background. also at the top of the page was a box you could type fav verses and things in etc. you could personalize all the border and font colors and even add cute animated graphics!! we all enjoyed it alot ooooo and you could write on each others wall!!! that was awesome because you could send loving encouraging thoughts and scripture with your friends!!!

Hi! I'm new here in talkjesus forums. Hmmm...I'd really like to see sermons from members (maybe keep it around 5-10 minutes) because we each have a different outlook on Jesus and how He has affected our lives.

Nothing wrong with selling stuff if it not too over priced and really helps people to serve the LORD more perfectly .

trouble is many sell junk that hurts people and does not lead them to a closer relationship.

1Co_9:11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?


Just some that gain far more than they could ever use and do not really care about helping Him build His kingdom !

As long as we are doing whatever we do ? For His glory and Honor.
