Online dating - "Yes" or "No" ?

NEVER pour out your heart,and soul to someone you cannot be sure of!! About 3 years ago we had a sister in our Church who did just that.After about 6 months of this they finally had a chance to meet. Sam,the suppose man she had been speaking to all this time,granted her to come to Texas to meet,Claire our sister was so excited! Long story short,she met ah Sammy a woman instead! On line people are not always as they appear to be!! NEVER EVER!!!!! grant any kind of personal things,or information until you meet them! ( Proverbs 3:5-6) and Psalm 118:8.

As for the main question I would say yes and no.
Yes, because online dating is not only about "dating apps or pages". We're in 2019 and that's quite normal people create friendships online by playing games or chatting with others using many groups, forums etc.
I know some people who found their current partners online and they're doing great.
I have mixed feelings about dating apps or sites. After my experience I have an opinion that those places are full of people who have the feeling of "lack" they don't feel "full" in their lives. Personally for me a lack of something will attract more lack, if you know what I mean... A person who would need another to fulfill, make happy, change, make life worthwhile would bring a disaster to the future relationship. I met many freaks so I gave up... but that's my own experience.

Yes. I'm not an expert in dating apps. I know it's an option for some reasons. I would prefer places with not "desperately seeking for love people" and it could be everywhere.

I totally rejected this way of knowing this kind of God´s will by using christian dating servis, but right know... I am not sure if I totally reject it or no.

Possibly. I feel like God has a funny sense of humour. Like, meet up with a girl at my church and then, lockdown. Meet a girl on a app who says she goes but she was trolling. Met another prior and i still see her.

I just have to give my testimony after reading the statements and questions about online dating....I met my husband now of 16 years our anniversary was Oct 3rd. We met online in a chat room on another site and talked for 3 years then the rest is history but I can truly say that I prayed for a good Godly man and one that would love God as much as I did and show me what true love was....I am hoping that this helps someone who is looking for their good God match made relationship because that's what it takes. Pray for God's will in helping you find the one that He wants you to be with and believe that He will do it... It takes faith and believing to make it happen. I will add to be totally prayed up, and led of the Lord to find the right guy for you. God bless you!

Have you not heard of Skype! In my youth. OLD was new. Its norm now. The problem is that, its another means to debauchery and hedonism. The majority of girls bio reads, "don't want kids" while riding the carousel and expecting some Christian beta male to be roped in at 30 when playboy stops calling.

I worked sales. Similarly, dating and smashing sales is a number game. Million dollar mouth piece. Gift of gab. I could sell sand in a desert. Its helped me with my dating life. I don't think apps are ideal. At least unless you want casual sex and debauchery.

Its purely optics. I have to agree. The same is said for sales or approach in real life. Its a lot of work. I do that. God helps those who help themselves.

I am not Chad nor Tyrone. Fairly good looking and pretty fit. My body is a temple. I don't watch porn. I put my testosterone in the gym or into calisthenics. The same energy men used to fap at Internet porn should be used to approach, to meditate, pray, and be on your purpose in servitude to God. Giving the gifts we are blessed with.

I want a wife like Adam. Not state wife nor government initiated. Man, woman, and God. Virtuous like Paul describes. One worthy of my last name and the privilege of carrying my many children.
