Personally I do not think that "Song of Songs" should be a part of The Canons of Scripture what do you think

Source?

The Bar Mitzvah (LINK) would greatly suggest otherwise.

But "originally," the Catholic Church did not believe in the Catholic canon. Even as late as the council of Nicaea, the book of Revelation was in dispute, and was never accepted by the Church of the East. Its inclusion in the canon can be attributed solely to Bishop Athanasius of Alexandria who listed it as canonical in 367 AD (while at the same time dropping out the Shepherd of Hermas and the Didache that had been considered canon by the "original" Catholics).

Thanks,
Rhema

PS: I guess I ought to mention that the Catholic view on the canon and on scripture is markedly different than the Protestant view.
Good afternoon Rhema, my source material has all been given forward to a younger man called to the Ministry of Parsonage. The source, as nearly as I can recall was either from the five volumes of J. Vernon McGee's "Through The Bible or one of my other commentaries not frequently used such as the Complete Works of Josephus. I wish my recall was not failing me in some important areas but such is the price some of us pay and live with for the sins of our past. I do not feel bad for it, it has just driven me closer to the LORD.

Well since we talking about " Bar Mitzvah" how many have you been too. And how many friends children of yours or your children friends have you been too? And how many Jewish and Orthodox Jews do you know personally? Their whole family, sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, grandfathers, grandmothers, cousins, aunts. How many words of comfort have you given them, divorces, wedding, death, graduations. Have their little children come into your home and play, by just walking in the door and nobody even know they are there. Until they come down the stairs or their parents ask is their child in your home. Then you say, let me go look. And you tell them yes, he or she is upstair playing all by themselves. Ok thank you, just wanted to know. Bye.

Or a Orthodox Jewish parent has said, I needed to see the parents of _________ who my son, cries so much, that for me to bring him over to your house.

And you shall be a "witnesses".
Acts 1:8,22
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth…"

I has never seen nothing like the experiences i have had since i had became a "child of The Living GOD" in 1977! I have had the abundance. manifested, in pain, sorry, strange, and unorthodox ways, and not by choice. but by "Predestination" to be a witness for my LORD and not by desire. but by a similarity of a "Wink Van Winkle" Do i choose the works of GOD? Nope I do not. For I do believe He has Place me in every way I am in, but i have acted like an unruly OX in every place I stand.

If anyone needs JESUS for their sins i am the one who constantly needs HIS mercy and Grace more than anyone. For my sins have been great! and not small like many. It takes a GOD to save me!, for good works I cannot do, I have no good works, so my good works i cannot get it done. :pensive: I only can speak concerning my self, "Confess" "Confess' I have no good thing in me as describe in "Romans 7"
American Standard Version
"For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me, but to do that which is good is not.":pensive:

So I know fully I am not a christian. But one thing i cannot deny, "I am a Child of The Living GOD" and one day, "i am going to Look just like JESUS":pensive:

May i say this, I am not of the Jewish culture. For i am a product of a "Black Ghetto" culture. With all of the true trimming, and not imaginations or speculating thoughts patterns. I am not a specialist in the "jewish' culture. But have know some as friends and next door neighbors, for years upon years.
