Please Pray for my Grandma

I'm asking for prayer for my 82 year old grandma who is in intensive care right now. She had originally gone in for tests before Christmas for pains in her side and it was she had fluid in her lungs...at first they just drained the fluid but it kept building back up and so they put in a draining tube to keep her clear. That's how she ended up in the I.C.U but then when they were suctioning out phlegm from her throat and things she started coughing and threw up and aspirated it into her lungs and was put on a ventalater. She eventually got off it and was even moved to her own private room but with a feeding tube in her stomach because she hadn't eaten in 10 days and needed nurishment. The tube for some reason didn't work and backed up into her stomach and throat and they found out when she swelled up in her belly...it backed up to the point she aspirated some of the stuff into her lungs and once again here we are with her on a ventalator and in the I.C.U.

The good news is they were able to clear her lungs completely and her chest x-rays have looked really good and she is stable and resting. I just ask that you keep her and our family in prayer right now. It hasn't been the easiest time on any of us...my grandpa worries constantly and my dad's brother and his wife along with my dad, mom and myself are there every day at least once or sometimes twice a day to check in and see her. Father we ask that You bless and help this dear lady. Give her doctors wisdom, let Your peace rule and reign in her heart and in the hearts of all her family. It is in Jesus Name we ask, believing we have already received, amen.
 
Praying God will open the doctors' eyes to His solution & turn things around POSSITIVELY.

Thank you all for your prayers for my grandma. Wanted to give you all an update of where we're at now. They transported her to a place in erie about an hour from where I live that specializes in lung treatment and weaning her off the respirator. They tried to take her off a few days ago but it didn't work...so now she is there at this place getting the care she needs. Also pray for my grandpa..he isn't sleeping or eating right and today looked so pale to me and thin...I worry about him too. Thank you all again and God bless you!

I will keep them in prayer. My grandmother had the same water in the lungs problem a few times too, she's also in her 80's.
 
Wanted to thank each and everyone of you that are praying for my grandparents and whole family. Also wanted to update you all on the progress my grandma has made!

She is now in a place called select specialities..its a rehabilatation hospital. She is off the ventilator now completely...went through her first night without it this past friday and did remarkably well. She has been without it in the day time now consistantly so they shut off the machine and are just giving her oxygen now. She is strong enough to walk for small bits and communicates by writing on paper and does well at that too. They also get her sitting up in a wheelchair now which is good. Her lung doctor says they are looking at putting in a trach so they can remove the ventilator tube from her throat completely..her lungs aren't quite done healing she still needs suctioned so until they are good and healed they said a trach would be the best option because she can still get her oxygen but talk and learn to eat again with it. Not sure when this will take place but its a postive step in the right direction. God has been so good and faithful in answering the prayers that were sent to Him...I am so thankful so very thankful! God is good and I appreciate you all for praying and lifting my grandma up to the Lord.
