Question for born again believers in Jesus Christ..please help.

All the answers are going in the same direction, and I agree - taking medication does not put anyone outside the kingdom of God.

Just one comments: the bible writers never directed their readers to place their hope in the rapture. Very consistently they point to expectation of two things, a) Jesus returning in glory and b) our resurrection to glorified bodies.

Can a person be raptured when they are on prescription medications?
When medication is taken in lieu of consulting God, then the door is opened for demonic influence...

OF COURSE there is a battle being waged this very moment for your mind.

The merchants, the rich men of the earth e.g. the transnational pharmaceutical corporations, are multi-generational satanically bloodlined banking families who will not repent of their sorceries (administering of drugs; poisoning; magical arts) (Rev. 9:21). So, to avoid opening doors to Satan and his boys, it is absolutely vital that you take ALL questions/concerns about drug taking FIRST to the Lord. We're to TRY (test) the spirits because not all are of God (1 John 4:1). You might be very surprised at what the Lord may tell you.

'Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct thy paths. '
(Pro 3:5-6)

Hello @RebornInChrist,

I am concerned about the effect the previous post may have on you (reply#22), with it's reference to demon possession.

As the verse above tells us, it is wise to acknowledge the Lord in regard to all that we do, but you have been diagnosed to have a certain condition, and will have been medicated. Please do not let thoughts such as those suggested trouble you. You have placed your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord and are trusting in Him for salvation. God has placed you 'in' Him (1 Corinthians 1:30-31), and you now have the new nature indwelling, so like Timothy, whom the Apostle Paul advised in 2 Timothy 3:14-17, '... continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.'

I know nothing about demon posession, @RebornInChrist, but I do know and believe what is written in God's Word about our Heavenly Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour, Who is at His right hand, which is a position of great authority and power. We can trust Him to keep us from all evil.

Within the love of Christ our Saviour,
now risen and glorified,
and sat at God's right hand.
Chris

Hello @Hekuran,

Yes, it is the appearing of the risen Lord for which we look (Titus 2:13), in the sure expectation that we will appear with Him in glory, having been raised from the dead (Colossians 3:4).

Praise God!

In Christ Jesus

This double-mindedness is the tragic result of trying to serve two masters.

Someone who was "diagnosed to have a certain condition...and medicated" obviously did not seek God first on it, and instead defaulted directly to Caesar. Or, would that person tell me that he asked God and then he heard directly from God who told him to go ahead and submit to Caesar and take the drug(s)?

Please do not let thoughts such as those suggested trouble you.
Mollycoddling the one in need in no wise helps him, rather it enables him to continue in bondage.

You have placed your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord and are trusting in Him for salvation...We can trust Him to keep us from all evil.
So which is it? How have we 'placed our faith' and 'trusted in Him,' when we have submitted to Caesar before even consulting with God?

'You say you love me, but you don't do the things I tell you to do.'

I know nothing about demon possession...
It's all about authority; who do you look to, for the authority to do the things you do? To God, or to Caesar? No man can serve two masters. Be aware, as there is a form of obedience that leads to death:

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? (Rom. 6:16).

Living life abundantly is about closing doors to demonic influence. This is spiritual warfare.

When the rapture takes place -- it's for born again believers / His Bride -- which is what born again believers are -- so - yes -- we Can know that our sins are forgiven by asking Jesus Christ to be our personal Lord and Savior.
But we must repent! None if it will help you unless you repent. That is the key to salvation. When added to baptism and love of Jesus it is magical.
