It's a reasonable deduction from the posts you've made. No need to get your panties in a twist. You could have replied with one or two specific points about the process you use to arrive your conclusions, but you didn't, so your words here lend credence to my position. And you know this about me how? LOL
Every one of my substantive posts provides adequate reasoning (and most of the time explanatory translation), so your comment is rather redundant in this regard. Of course if you have issues with my reasoning, you could always point out where I'm wrong. On the rare occasion that such is the case, I rather find these pleasant. You can speak to your own reasoning, which is what you know vs what you write here is the truth.
My range was from the far outer edge of lunacy to one close at hand for you. It wasn't meant to be a guided tour of all the varied idioddities found in Christendom. But the three that you list can be tossed into the bin as well. I'd hate to have you think I was a snob. At this point, I don't know of a single Christian church or organization that understands even the basic teachings of Jesus.I'm glad you allowed for such a wide range! For I'd would of included the Church of the East, RCC, Baptist, etc. as well!
No. It's not. And at the age of eight when I came to the Lord, I had more insight and intellect and wisdom than can be found in any average adult. Obviously the KJV was used by the community I grew up in, until the age of 14 when I found that I could get my hands on the New Testament written in its original language. So the same Bible I use now is indeed the one from that age, and I promote it any time I get. So the offer stands, I'll give one even to you:I'm sure the Bible that was used when you came to the Lord at a tender age and were exposed to at first is the same one you now use.

Until I could read Greek, I did rely upon Marshal's Interlinear work, but over the years I've found only about five or nine renditions with which I disagree. I just read the Greek text directly now. And in my posts, they are my translations, maverick as they may be.
And just what have you studied of the process that you use to ascertain truth? Dare I ask your foray into Epistemology? Or haven't you even given it a thought? A conclusion from even a sophomoric grasp of Epistemology would declare that nobody has a right to his or her opinion, but they do, however, have a right to an INFORMED opinion. No one has a right to express ignorant gibberish.it really is as I said: "I guess you can say that we both use the version that accommodates what we each believe to be true then."
Well thanks a lot. Next time you can do your own damn translation. You confirm this as well in the next section, which is what I pretty much have no issue with.
And pray tell, what is to be done when everybody runs around screaming that the Holy Spirit teaches them, and yet arrive at conclusions that are directly opposite one another? But as it is written:
Somebody's wrong.
(And it's usually not me.)
