When do you believe that I Thessalonians 4:13-17 takes place? Please give scripture support.
Im not quite sure what your asking here. but clearly its talking about the second coming of Jesus.
Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.
notice here that this is another refrence of the promised second comming that we wait for where we in the words of 1 Ths "meet in the air".
Act 3:20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
Act 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Note Jesus will remain in heaven untill all is decided then He will return to restore all things.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This [is] the first resurrection.
Notice again that those who do not get teh mark of the beast arre in heaven with Christ as he promised "you will be there with me also" although the rest of mankind are dead and dont come to life untill the end of the thousand years. notice this takes place at the first resurrection. So if only dead on earth and living in heaven then how can there be a tribulation after the resurrection mentioned in 1 Thes.
Jeremiah says that on the day of Jesus' return all the wicked will be slain in correlation with Revelation.
Jer 25:33 And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from [one] end of the earth even unto the [other] end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.
Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
every eye shall see same as what we are told by the angel when Jesus left
ct 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Act 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Jesus will come the second time and when He does that will be the end of our time to chose Him now is the acceptible time our second chance is now. when He comes the world will have been judged for or against and appropriatly delt with. then those of us who are saved in His grace will go to heaven and everyone who is left other than Satan and his angels will be killed then and there and satan will be stuck here for 1000 years with nothing to do but await his punnishment then while we are partakers in seeing why those who are not there arent and why we are. then after all is delt with we will return to this earth and the second resurrection the one Revelation says we do not want part in becasue it leads to the second death which Jesus also warned of when here on earth. then all will be made new amen blessings I hope this helps.
