There is a "ministry" of speaking in "tongues" and there is a "personal" use of speaking in tongues.

1Co 14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

Personal "tongues" is for speaking directly to God.

Ministry "tongues" for speaking to men with an interpretation given by another person.

1Co 14:27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret.
1Co 14:28 But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in church, and let him speak to himself and to God.

I am very serious in asking thisand wul really like an answer because i do not know.

In the early church, it seems everyone was on the same page.
Exceptions of course.
But if the Holy Spirit teaches all about one subject or topic in the bible,why so many interpretations.
You can ask about a certain verse or doctrine and get 100 different interpretations.

Paul told Timothy, in his last epistle before his martyrdom that, 'This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.' (2 Timothy 1:15) so there was a falling away from the truth taking place even then. The Scriptures are God breathed, and pure. The interpretations are of man, and open to error.

Timothy was told to study to shew himself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, (2 Timothy 2:15), while those around him were arguing about this Scripture and that, Paul told Timothy to rise above all of that and concentrate upon rightly dividing the word of truth, and thereby be approved of God.

the term used, 'Pentecostal Faith', is nowhere to be found in Scripture so it is advised to be careful regarding it's use.

I do not wish to start an argument nor continue one.

If we are discussing Bible, we must be careful that we do not resort to ideologies above what is actually given for us to read and understand.

Isiah 28:9 -13 The people say, “Who does he think he is trying to teach and explain his message to? Does he think we are babies who were at their mother’s breast only a very short time ago? He speaks to us as though we were babies:

So God will use this strange way of talking,(language without understanding. ) and he will use other languages (with understanding) to speak to these people. In the past he spoke to them and said, “Here is a resting place. Let those who are tired come and rest. This is the place of peace.”

But they would not listen to him. So the Lord’s words will be senseless sounds to them:

“Saw lasaw saw lasaw.Qaw laqaw qaw laqaw. Ze’er sham ze’er sham.”

When the people try to walk, they will fall backwards. They will be defeated, trapped, and captured.

Only God alone knows the hearts of all mankind and prepares their hearts for growth The person speaks mysteries. . . not prophecy. . (understandable words", the declared will of God.

I do not think it has to do with language barriers. But more how can we hear the voice of the gospel the tongue of God..

In that way signs preaching the gospel called the believers "new tongue" followed that they have been empower to both believe and go out with the good news that raises the spiritually dead. .

The key signs follow. . . not lead, not something we seek after. No different than the metaphor poison of serpents to indicate false prophecy being drank or taken in will not effect the believer as a sign that follows. . . . . as it is written (sola scriptura) The reforming authority in any generation.

It would seem Christians have a similar example King Saul the people's choice. . . A warning not to seek after signs to wonder after. wondering is not believing, Believing the tongue of God is believing. .


Certainly we do not seek after things to wonder after ? ? ? ? workers with familiar spirits. . . . . venerated sinners .

Thats what i said.
But let me ask this,what language does God speak? He understands my thoughts. I dont have to pray out loud. Why bother with this unknown talk? I think before i speak when talking to God. This unknown business,you may be cussing him out and not know it.

The Problem with many.
Ephesians 3 KJV

You see, I Learn this stuff by reading the Bible when I was a Young Preacher. I didn't want to miss something. I read it All over and over again and over again. I Told my wife, look at this, do you see what this say here? She would look at me like I was crazy. I would tell her, I ain't going to do that.

I read every word, i did not skip nothing!

why the many interpretations, it is the level of their "spiritual' wisdom and knowledge Given to us By God himself, you cannot learn The wisdom of God on your Own, It must be taught by Him, according to His Will and Not ours.
