SAVE Thy SELF

The way you address people and the 'judgmental' tone that you use is not the right way to go about things here at Talk Jesus

Brothers DHC and amadeus2 have tried to engage in the thread with good points and questions
Perhaps think about what they are asking and how to answer them in a gracious manner

Shew me Thy ways...teach me Thy paths....lead me in Thy truth
Psalm 25:4-5

The Lord said He is going to put you back in your rightful place. That is what He told me about you. I know what that means.

Hello Stephen Levi.

I started reading through (Matthew 5) as per your instruction. Then I stumbled upon a verse that
I decided I will memorize and obey everyday. As you advised I have posted the verse and here it is.

Matthew 5
48 Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Everyday I will be perfect as my heavenly Father is perfect. I do hope that I can achieve the Father's
perfection because if I do not achieve this perfection then the following verse will apply to me.

Matthew 5
20 For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you
will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

I have never met a Pharisee, though the apostle Paul was a pharisee and this is what he had to say
about his own righteousness.

Philippians 3
If anyone else has a mind to put confidence in the flesh, I far more: 5 circumcised the eighth day, of the
nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the Law, a Pharisee; 6 as to zeal,
a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness which is in the Law, found blameless.

So Paul was blameless as far as the righteousness which is derived from the law. Thus Paul is the only
Pharisee that I know of so my righteousness must exceed Paul's blameless righteousness.

Will get back to you Stephen, probably tomorrow and I will tell you whether I have exceeded Paul's
righteousness in the law.

'unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees, you will not enter the
kingdom of heaven'.
You think you are clever. But all you have done here is open the door.
Thank you.

odd as this may sound to you brother, but God does indeed speak to other people other then yourself! And the pm you sent me is not from the Lord either! In fact Gal 6:7 you have sown a ban, so let it be written ,so let it be done! You will have to talk to who I serve here, brother Chad, perhaps the Lord will tell you something about him to. I am sure the Lord has told much to my brother about you!

You think you are clever. But all you have done here is open the door.
Thank you.
I also received a private message regarding my family. The problem is my family are all non Christian.
Hence Stephen, they never were blessed by God so they cannot lose a blessing as such.
Thanks anyway, though next time you hear from the lord ask Him to be more accurate.

You know brother DHC I am sorry you had to endure that! You will not anymore! I am thankful for those I serve here, and for the constant support,to all of us here! There is no room for fear here,I had enough of that without Jesus in my life,I sure am so glad for our Jesus, because love acts, and love never fails!( 1 cor 13:4-8) And love gets rid of fear!! Blessing!

I also received a private message from Mr Levi about myself and family not being saved. As far as I can remember, I have not posted any previous messages on this thread.

I guess I can also add my name to the private message received by Mr. Levi.

Mr. Levi, since it seems that you have PM'd many of my brothers here in Christ Jesus. Was this intended as just a type of "robo" PM directed at the general community of TJ, or that the individual people that were sent this PM were selected by God to have this message communicated to?

I asked God if He told you to tell me this. God told me that He did not tell you to tell me anything.

The above was in reply to being quoted in part 1 John 4:1 So either you don't believe that the Bible is the Word of God, or that this verse is in error, or that the Bible is not meant to be applied (instances relative to the discussion, I'm sure). I do not believe that any of this is the case, since in your own bio; you profess KJV and belief in Christ Jesus.

If you as a professed man of God, are truly to reflect Christ Jesus to others, then love one another as our Lord has commanded, not only in action but in your writings as well. I say this because one could easily argue that your posting here fails to accomplish the very thing that you desire to communicate. If this then being the case. Then what, pray chance, were you expecting from a community of believers? You who, without recommendation or letter of introduction of your standing within the Body of Christ, attempt to chastise those who are seeking to grow in Christ Jesus, not only in words, but actions as well.

We should realize that quotation of scripture does not in and of itself signify that you must be a man of God. Satan utilized scripture to tempt our Lord. So context is very important for our Lord showed this by responding in kind; that is with Scripture.

Yet you should also understand and reflect that your ability to serve, those in need must be tempered by the knowledge that if you fail to be the loving servant as a Child of the Most High. The believer you say your are. You might as well have not spoken.

You are received with open arms as a brother in Christ Jesus here at TJ, until you show yourself to be otherwise, then what you claim to be. Step back and take stock, in prayer and supplication, through Christ Jesus, for guidance and understanding through the Holy Spirit. For truly if your message is of God, it will prove itself! It will also, be consistent with the KJV that you profess to believe in. Remember, there is no one or thing that can hinder His word for being spoken and His will to be done.
With the Love of our Lord Christ Jesus, I communicate this post to you Stephen Levi.

And they are in you.
Yes, and the enemies inside are the worst ones.

"Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:

She hath killed her beasts..." Prov 9:1-2

Mine are not all dead, but the work continues.

Greetings @amadeus2 @Christ4Ever @B-A-C @DHC

It would appear that many pm's were sent to many moderators and members, including myself, all of the same nature.

Stephen Levi will not be able to post on the forum any longer.

Let us pray for him...... that he is open to hearing the truth found only in the Bible

He is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him
Hebrews 7:25

1 Timothy, Chapter 4, 16: Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

The DOCTRINE is the COMMANDMENTS of JESUS CHRIST.

The Doctrine? No, no, no, silly...
The G.O.S.P.E.L.:
God.
Our.
Sins.
Paying.
Everyone.
Life.
Salvation is not about what you can do for God, it's about what God has already done for you on the cross. It's all about Jesus. And it is finished.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God," Ephesians 2:8

God's peace to you! :)

Yes, just yesterday, I also received a PM from Stephen Levi. Lord have mercy.
I have a personal, intimate relationship with God.
The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Amen.
We know the traits of the devil, because the Spirit of truth leads us into all truth. Amen.
Do not beat Mr. Levi up, as he has done us, but pray for him. Amen.
His post are bitter, and sarcastic; these are not the fruits of the Spirit. Amen.
May you Lord of ALL things created bless us all in Spirit and in Truth. Amen.

it seems I am not alone in receiving a PM either.

God Bless you Stephen Levi.

You are in my prayers..

I thought PM stood for *private* message.

I put myself in Stephen's shoes for a moment and it hurts to read this thread; I almost cried. He hurt you and you hurt him.

This thread taught me that hurting people hurt people. :S

Love your enemies. (Proverbs 25:21-22)

@LoveStory

Please notice from reading the thread that people are lovingly praying for Stephen Levi.

The pm that was sent out was spam mail and it was spammed to many members of Talk Jesus.
It is good that it could be openly talked about as for some the nature of the pm may have been disturbing.

I understand.

I wish I had joined the site sooner. I just read all of his posts from the time he joined and I see a broken man in dire need of God's love.

Did anyone reach out to him privately before his final act of acting out in PM?

To be honest sister.
I don't recall if he even posted on the thread to introduce himself to all which could have helped.

Until I received the PM from him, I wasn't even aware that he was a member. At that time, i searched and came across this thread, and so posted my response. This of cause was the same day he was disallowed from posting.

Whatever moved him in word and deed, I can only attribute to a deep felt conviction that he was doing right. Maybe, he was just lashing out because of other responses he received when initially joining other Christian sites. Making a determination that the next site would not ridicule or would have to listen to what he felt needed to be communicated. The next site just happened to be TJ. Not realizing that TJ, who has welcomed Atheist, would also welcome him with open arms. So sad.

I pray that he does find peace and the love that seems to lacking in the faith he carries with him or that whatever caused his communication to be only giving but not receiving, which I guess is no communication at all, falls away to an understanding that there are brothers & sisters in Christ Jesus, who can, will, share the same love that Christ had for us, with him.

Sometimes Lovestory, people do not allow themselves the chance to grow in our Father's love. We can only hope that whatever road he travels that God will continue to work on Stephen Levi. Showing him, that the humility and love that befits all believers, he might also be enjoined to wear with no fear of condemnation from others who would call him brother. That he might know that all that we do we pray it be to the Glory of God. Praying that the words of his bio were truth and that whatever path he travels might find its destination, in heaven! In the name of Christ Jesus I pray. Amen.

...And Catholics and crazies get shown the door?

It's like the Bible says, “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world …”
People are not the enemy; it doesn't matter if they are gay, Catholic, or crazy. All people are our brothers and sisters created by God and therefore worthy of love.

It's love, not condemnation that draws people to Christ.

Hi SL - I just wanted to share with you that the phrase "save thyself" is in reference to, not his personal salvation, but to the Apostle's admonishment of saving or avoiding the trouble that results from being misled in false teachings.

The doctrine of salvation is clear in Scripture but many other Biblical doctrines concerning spiritual growth in salvation can seem obscure to the unlearned, as young Timothy was learning from Paul.
