Seriously ill

Hi sister Sadeyes, I sent you a private message earlier. I read in your other thread that you seem to be having trouble with private messages. I'll ask brother Chad to check it out.

Speaking about fear, fear of the Lord, fear about your life and in general, not really knowing the next step to take. I have had an experience in my life, it was a couple of years ago.

I am very young, 23 years. But like I have mentioned, I have seen the glory of God in action.

Please click on this link:

http://www.talkjesus.com/bible-chat/11726-submission-god.html?highlight=submission

It is a short story of an event that happened in my life, and as I call it, how I "submitted" myself to the Lord.

Let me know what you think.
God bless
Much love
teraside ;)

Thank you Teraside for both this post and the PM.

I did receive your PM, I did read your thread and I DID REPLY TO YOU VIA PM. Does that mean that you didn't receive my reply?

Ummmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!

Yes sister, I didn't get the reply.

It doesn't matter, I sent Chad a message and asked him to check your private message problem.

I'm glad you got a chance to read it.
Don't let all this information get too much for you.

Let the Holy Spirit guide you, retain the information you feel is necessary and forget all that which you don't need. It may sound silly to say that, but a clear mind is better than a clogged mind.

God bless
Much love
teraside

Yes, my mind is very clogged at the moment.

It is all so overwhelming. No wonder I'm not doing it right yet - There is so much to remember to do, say and think.

It's very hard!!!

I woke up this morning with almost every part of my body hurting, so I am going to 'take the plunge' and say those words that LLJ suggested yesterday.

"Pain be gone in Jesus' name. I am a child of God and nothing will separate me from his love".

Any practical advice?

eg
How? - silently? whispering? speaking? shouting?
Where? - on my knees? in bed? standing up?
How many times? - once? twice?

Thank you

OK - if nobody can advise me, then I'll just go and do the best that I can.

When it comes to praying we can do it anywhere and in any way we are comfortable doing it. Speaking out is good when telling pain to be gone. Some do pray on their knees too.

Father I pray that as my sister speaks to her pain that it will indeed be gone and not return in Jesus' name. Thank you that You hear our prayers and the cries of our hearts when we ask You to help us. I pray that she will get revelations of You speaking to her too. Thank you that You are working in her life now. May she not struggle trying to find answers but learn to just trust You and walk by faith and not by what she sees. Open her spiritual understanding I pray in Jesus' name amen.

God bless you dear sister

Love in Christ  :rainbow: :rose:

I KNOW MYSELF SO WELL!!

I'm not necessarily proud of that fact, but I do know myself well, especially when it comes to certain issues, such as REJECTION!!!!!!!!

Last night, LLJ suggested that I should say certain words to help me to get better. My response was:

"I will try to say it, but I am even scared to say that, just in case it doesn't work. If it doesn't work, I will feel such rejection and I have major issues in my life with rejection, so I don't want any more. That may sound stupid to you, but that is my situation. In fact it sounds stupid to me to think that I am too scared to take the risk of rejection against the chance of healing. You must think that I am totally pathetic!!!!!!"

Well, this morning, I decided to 'take the plunge' and 'go for it'. I knew that I would be taking a risk - if it didn't work, how would I cope?

Well at the moment, I am heading towards suicide (although I am not there yet). It didn't work and I feel worse than I did this morning. I feel as though there is no hope left for me now. I feel a total failure. I am devastated.

I really don't know what to think about anything now. I really had wanted the hopes and promises of the Father's love letter to work for me. I have tried so hard to understand your very kind posts (although for me, some of them were on a completely different level to my simple understanding). I have tried to follow the advice that I have been given. There has been so much to take 'on board' that it has been overwhelming, but I have tried to take it on board regardless. I have tried to say, do and think the right things, but I obviously haven't got that right either.

I had also reached the point of believing that God loved me (despite not having experienced it personally) and that he would one day speak to me.

I don't want to give up on this journey (because my only other alternative is suicide) and in any case, it would mean that all the time that you have given to me would have been wasted. I have also met some very kind people on this forum in the past week and I don't want to let them down after the kindness that they have shown to me.

Please don't be cross with me because that really is the last thing that I need.

Maybe, what I think that I need more than anything else at this moment is a simple experience of God's love - something that confirms to me that God loves me as much as you all say he does!

Will you please pray that I can experience some kind of love and/or hope from God to give me some encouragement?

Very, Very Sadeyes

Like I said to you in my other posts, you need to be patient. You need to wait for God's timing, His timing is not our timing. Please be patient Sadeyes, He will answer you, I know He will.

(Psa 27:14) Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

One thing about healing, you need to fully believe God has healed you. Otherwise it won't work.

Mat 9:20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:

Mat 9:21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

All this women did was touch the hem of Jesus' garment, she knew she would be healed, that take belief, strong belief.

Mat 9:22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith[/B/ hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

I have gone to prayer and have asked God to heal me, and my belief was not strong enough so I didn't get healed. Other times it was strong enough and I did get healed.

This morning my husband asked to be healed, as he had a kidney complaint and had pain, he went to prayer and said "God heal me", he felt the pain go immediately.

Please be patient and God does love you.

You hang in there .With God's help this will pass. I lost one of my friends who was a member here to suicide last August and I am still not over the shock. Without sounding trite I heard the father of a suicide victim say - suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. There is wisdom in that statement. Its when we are challenged that our faith sustains us all the more. What a freiend we have in Jesus.Who else could you possibly want as your friend when times get tough. We are more resilient than we believe and while I know all seems far from well you are still with us so thats good. Just keep taking one step at a time asking God to be there with you through thick and thin.Dont look too far forward and leave what is past where it belongs - its gone now and all you can do is focus on the moment. I am not going to say to you that there are many coping with worse because to you your problems are paramount.Even from what I read here you are a kind, articulate, caring person. What a waste it would be if you took your talents from this world. May the Prince of Peace give you His Blessing this day.Amen.

Hi Sadeyes,

I hear what you are saying. You want to know what will 'work'? What will alleviate your suffering? I have been reading a book lately called Where is God When it Hurts by Phillip Yancey. It describes people who have experienced pain and how it has transformed their relationship with God. Let Him use you.

I have also been prayerfully meditating on what it means to let your light shine. You have been given a gift -

Matt 5:14-16 You are the light of the world - like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see. Don't hide your light under a basket! Instead, put it on a stand and let it shine for all. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

Right now, where you are, there is someone you can reach and God will reach out to you through other people in your life. Isn't it miraculous! You might think that you are no use, but you are wrong.

Let God speak to you through your conscience even now and direct you to shine the light He has placed in you to someone else - even if it is only for a moment - to tell them the good news by your actions, your concern, expressing your love towards them.

Today I felt very vulnerable as I am learning to help people with art & crafts with health problems and i have never done this before and i have very little knowledge. But I know that God has such love for these people and when i didn't know what to do I just tried my best to love them anyway i knew how and let Him be my guide by being sensitive. I knew i'd make mistakes and i've struggled with this so much but i just had to admit to them today that i was learning too. When i finished i later spent some time in prayer and i had the revelation that this is what it is like to shine God's light - i felt really vulnerable but i tried to love other people.

The most important commandment for us is mentioned in Mark:-

Mark 12:29-31 Jesus replied, "The most important commandment is this: 'Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second is equally important: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these.

I leave this with you for your prayerful thought. Another saying came to me 'do not despise the day of small beginnings'.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for the awesome gift you have given Sadeyes and the steps she is taking as a newborn Christian. Like an infant she may may stumble and fall, but i pray that she will come to realise your smile, your tenderness, your compassion to pick her up and guide her to the next step. Thank you Jesus.

Dear Sadeyes, we all make mistakes - this is part of life - but now you are God's child and He is watching over you. Love Him.

John 14:15 If you love me, obey my commandments.

Well, i have to go,

Peace

THIS HAS GOT TO WORK

How much more desperate do I need to become before God will answer my prayer?

Today I have tried to find something in my life that tells me that God is here for me. I have searched, but it is a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack. I'm not saying that it is not there, just that I haven't found it.

I feel so sad that this isn't working for me and that I don't know what I am doing wrong. I must be the saddest person on this forum!

As the title says - This has got to work! You have all given me so much hope that God is the answer, but I need to experience that for myself.

There is nothing else to say other than please pray for this desperate woman!

You need to ask for the Holy Spirit, so please follow this:

How do you receive the Holy Spirit?

Sometimes the Lord baptises believers in the Spirit by a sovereign act. This is what happened to the disciples on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2), and to the household of Cornelius in Acts 10. At other times, it happens through the laying on of hands, as in Samaria (Acts 8).

Looking at it from the seeker's point of view, however, you receive the Holy Spirit in the same way as you receive all the blessings of God: by faith. The following steps may be helpful.

You need to ask the Lord to cleanse you from all outstanding sin so that you can approach him with confidence. In other words, you need to clear your conscience (Acts 24:16).

Then it's important to ask him for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said:

Luke 11:13 'If you . . . though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!'

Having prayed, and believing God has heard your prayer, begin to praise God and worship him with thanksgiving. Do it out loud. This is a powerful means of drawing near to his presence to receive the Holy Spirit: 'Come near to God and he will come near to you' (James 4:8).

Reach out in love and worship to the Lord, speaking or singing your praise to him.

At this point, a fellow-Christian may lay hands on you to impart the Holy Spirit, just as 'when Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied' (Acts 19:6).

Expect to feel the Lord's presence in a new and powerful way. No-one in the Bible ever received the Holy Spirit and didn't know it.

Please!

God loves you so very much.

Feel yourself carried by the most comforting and protective arms in the universe:

Deuteronomy 1:31 and in the desert. There you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place.

Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you . . .

Isaiah 46:3 Listen to me, O house of Jacob, . . . you whom I have upheld since you were conceived, and have carried since your birth. (4) Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

Isaiah 63:9 In all their distress he too was distressed, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.

As a little child is frequently lifted by its parent, so God lifts you up into his arms:

Psalms 40:2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

Psalms 145:14 The LORD upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.

Picture yourself as a little, trusting child holding the strongest, yet gentlest hand in the world:

Psalms 37:24 though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

Psalms 63:8 My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.

Psalms 73:23 Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand.

Psalms 139:10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:13 For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Isaiah 42:6 I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. . . .

Scripture shows the Lord not as a father who only becomes involved with his children when they get older, but someone who tends to a baby’s needs from the moment of birth, even teaching the baby to walk:

Psalms 22:9 Yet you brought me out of the womb; you made me trust in you even at my mother’s breast. (10) From birth I was cast upon you; from my mother’s womb you have been my God.

Psalms 71:6 From my birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother’s womb. I will ever praise you.

Isaiah 1:2 Hear, O heavens! Listen, O earth! For the LORD has spoken: “I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me.”

Hosea 11:3 It was I who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the arms; but they did not realize it was I who healed them. (4) I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love; I lifted the yoke from their neck and bent down to feed them.

Here’s yet another beautiful picture of God’s tender love:

Isaiah 40:11 He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.

Father I pray that You will reveal Yourself to this dear sister who is so longing to experience You herself. You are the answer to her health issues. No one can do anything except pray and ask You to heal this dear sister from the top of her head to the soles of her feet in Jesus' name amen.

Thank you that You hear the cries of her heart.

God bless you dearest one

Sadeyes there are many ways that God speaks to us, through the Bible to that person directly with scriptures, to your heart and through other believers.

So God has been speaking to you through all the other believers in this thread to you.

He has been speaking to you directly. Only you, because he loves you.

Joh 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

Joh 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

When one comes to the Father, repents and believes, He helps to us to become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did. He pours His love out and into us/believers, and that love comes from God, outwardly to help out others.

Joh 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

I am giving up my whole life for God, because I love Him very much. He has changed my life, like you wouldn't believe. He can do the same for you, because He loves you.

Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

He loves you too, He knows your pain, He knows your anxieties, He knows everything about you and He wants to help you.

Thank you for the posts.

I am still very sad because 'this' isn't working for me and I desperately want it to work for me. I waited all day yesterday for a "sign" from God to show his love to me and/or to give me hope.

It didn't come!

It is a beautiful morning here in Germany. The sky is blue and the air is fresh. It is going to be a beautiful Spring day. Now I am writing this weather check because perhaps it is significant! ...

Thank you LLJ for the post. The words that you wrote were lovely. I went to the web-site from your link at the bottom of the post and found the whole website (well, what I read of it) very inspiring.

Part of what I read was this:

"Our Lord has been so extravagant in his display of love to us that we have become jaded to the real significance of the gifts he showers on us. When you snuggle into bed, hear a bird chirp, see a fluffy cloud, do you marvel at God’s love gifts to you? When, like the most faithful servant, a clock wakes you at just the right time; when you switch on a light that would have astonished everyone who was ever born until relatively recently; and when you look in a small mirror that King Solomon would have paid a fortune to own, does your heart skip a beat at the lengths your Father in heaven goes to say ‘I love you’?"

I can't tell you the name of this website as I am not allowed to, but I acknowledge that I used it in this quote and the name of it is found at the end of LLJ's last post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In anycase, the point being is that perhaps I am looking for a more personal "sign" than the ones that God gives. If what is said in this above quote is true, then perhaps when I thought 'What a beautiful day', that was God's "sign" of his love to me.

If that is the case, it is also God's "sign" to my next door neighbour which means that it is not a 'personal' sign for me, Sadeyes.

So, I am still confused.

Am I looking for the wrong thing?

Word of life - You wrote in your post:

" So God has been speaking to you through all the other believers in this thread to you.

He has been speaking to you directly. Only you, because he loves you."

THAT makes me so sad, because it means that I have missed it. Somebody said that I would KNOW when God was speaking to me and I have been waiting for a "sign" that tells me that God is speaking to me.

I still don't know what I am doing wrong, because I must be doing something wrong if you know that God has been speaking directly to me and I don't know this fact.

There is nothing else to say other than please pray for this desperate woman!

Still praying for you dear sister

There is a thread on healing which you may find helpful.

http://www.talkjesus.com/scriptural-answers/199-healing.html

This is part of a thread for new believers.

. Pray everyday. Prayer is the ability to communicate on a personal level with the Creator of the Universe. What an amazing privilege and opportunity! God will hear the prayers of anyone who calls on Him in sincerity and truth. However, once we believe in Jesus, we are given special access to God the Father, Himself, through the blood and Name of Jesus. This is a restoration of all that man lost as a result of sin. Our sins have separated us from Him–but in Christ not only is there forgiveness, but there is also restoration. In Him we are a new creation.

When Jesus cried out from the cross, "It is finished!" the veil in the Temple that separated the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place (where the Presence of God dwelled) was supernaturally ripped from the top to the bottom by God Himself! Now, through Christ, we have the awesome privilege of coming before God Himself. We no longer have to go to Him through a priest–now we can go to Him ourselves through the priestly ministry of Jesus Christ! We no longer need to shrink back from God in our sins–we can be cleansed through Christ and come before Him with a clean conscience and confidence. Now, we no longer need to cry that God does not speak to us–instead, we can speak with Him and tune our ears expectantly to hear from Him.

How should we pray? Just speak to God from your heart. He already knows your needs and worries and thoughts, but when we speak them to Him, we are inviting Him to come into the midst of them and bring us the answers that we need. We should daily ask God for His guidance and wisdom and the power to lead the overcoming Christian life. Confess your sins to Him quickly, and never fail to give Him thanks for all of His blessings to you.

Reading the Psalms and other recorded prayers in the Bible is a good way to learn how to pray. David and the other psalmists were very honest before the Lord in their prayers, but through their prayers they always found fresh hope and encouragement in the Lord. These prayers were recorded in the Bible to speak to us today.

Prayer is a conversation. On earth, we never speak continually to someone who never talks back. So it is with God. When we pray, we can expect to hear back from Him. The main way that we can learn to hear the voice of God, is by knowing Him! And the best way to know Him is by studying His Word–the Bible.

4. Read your Bible every day. As we stated above, the best way to begin to know God is to read about Him. Find out what He likes and what He doesn’t like. Find out how He speaks and discover the desires in His heart. All of this is recorded in the Bible.

If you are new to the Bible, we recommend that you begin in the New Testament. You should read at least one of the four Gospels first, either Matthew, Mark, Luke, and/or John. Then begin to read other books in the New Testament. You can read them in order if you would like, but it is not necessary. As you read, ask God to make His word alive and real to you. Ask Him to speak to you through His Word. Tell Him you want to know Jesus, and ask for the spirit of revelation to rest upon you as you read. You can also ask God for a hunger to read His Word, if you are having problems getting in to it. Then, as the Holy Spirit directs you, begin to read the Old Testament.

Some of the books that are good to begin with in the Old Testament, are Genesis and Exodus (two great history books), Psalms, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes. Of course, the Lord will show you where is best for you to begin. These are just some suggestions of some of the books that were easiest for us to read and absorb at first. A Study Bible with notes is a very valuable tool when you are first beginning to read the Bible.

Don’t worry if you do not understand everything you read at first. Ask the Lord to teach you by His Spirit, for that is the only way that we can understand the Bible. Spirit speaks to spirit. The Holy Spirit will illuminate those things that you need most to hear from Him at this time. If you get confused, don’t give up. Find a good Bible study with other Christians and continue to seek the Lord for understanding. He will be faithful to feed you those words of life that will wash you and strengthen you and encourage you.

5. Ask for the Holy Spirit Baptism. Another important "key" in our walk with God, is receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This experience is one that should immediately follow conversion experience and baptism in water.

"John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire" (Luke 3:16)

"And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth" Acts 1:4-5,8.

"While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?" (Acts 10:44-47).

Have you received this gift with evidence of speaking in other tongues? If you haven't, ask God to baptize you in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and other spiritual gifts to follow (1 Corinthians 12:4-11). These spiritual gifts are supernatural and are given to empower us as believers, and to minister to the world. When you speak in tongues, you are praying over the most important things that need prayer in your life. It is a powerful and important link in your relationship with God. It will empower you to lead an overcoming Christian life. You can receive this gift straight from the Lord, or you can receive it through the laying on of hands from another Christian who speaks in tongues.

6. Further Encouragement

God loves you dearly and has plans to use you for His glory. He wants to use you to be a light to this dark world. Most of all though, He wants you as His dear friend. He died for you, to restore you back to relationship with the Father. Restored relationship with God is WHY Jesus died on the cross. An intimate and faithful relationship with our Lord is the goal of the Christian life–and all ministry should flow from this place. As we keep our love for the Lord first in our heart, He will also fill us with love for others.

Please know that you will face discouragement in your Christian walk from time to time. Sometimes God will seem distant and confusing. Other Christians may let you down, and you may be persecuted. You may be tempted to return to the life that you left behind. These are normal tribulations that all Christians experience. Don’t be discouraged or give up--just keep moving forward, closer to God. Trust Him to carry you when you are weak, and be honest with Him in your prayers. He knows your heart anyway. You can’t keep secrets from Him so it is better to be very open with Him. This will be a strength to your relationship with Him.

When we battle discouragement, it is also important to remember that we need to resist Satan, who comes to accuse us! As we begin to draw closer to God, we enter into a realm of spiritual warfare against the evil god of this world. He will try to whisper lies of condemnation in your ear. He will do everything he can to keep you from reading and believing the Bible. How can we tell the difference between the voice of God and the voice of the Accuser? God’s voice will come to correct us, but there will be love and hope in His voice. When the Devil comes to accuse us, his words only bring despair and loss of hope. Our God is a loving Father, who corrects us because of His great love. The enemy only wants to make us give up and feel that we are past the point of God’s grace. He comes to alienate us from God. But the good news is, he is powerless against the power of God. If you discern that the voice that you have been hearing is not from the Lord, tell that voice to leave in the name of Jesus! Ask God to help you hear His voice and to respond to Him and obey Him.

"Submit yourselves therefore, to God. RESIST the devil and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

No matter what may come your way, we can promise you that if you continue to walk with the Lord all the days of your life, you will never regret it! He is the most priceless treasure in the entire universe--the glory of a million suns cannot hold a candle to His brilliance. He is everything you have ever wanted, and more. He is the Lover of your soul–the only One who loves and understands you perfectly. He cares about your destiny more than anyone else in the world. And He is completely trustworthy!

It is with great joy and delight that we welcome you to the Family of God! By the power of the Holy Spirit, we bless you in your new life and we declare victory over you. May the will of God prosper in your life and may you find your deepest delights in Him all the days of your life.

Truly, He is all in all! In closing, we join with the prayer of the Apostle Paul for you:

"Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for Christians everywhere, I have never stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future he has promised to those he called. I want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance he has given to his people. I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of his power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else in this world or in the world to come. And God has put all things under the authority of Christ, and he gave him this authority for the benefit of the church. And the church is his body; it is filled by Christ, who fills everything everywhere with his presence. (Ephesians 1:15-23 NLT).

I think you are trying too hard and looking for signs and wonders and God is greater than signs and wonders. He loves everybody. Just enjoy the little things He gives and it is by faith that we believe. The sun is like God's love as it is warm. I was told that once. Feel the warmth of the sun that is how God loves you.

Keep reading the gospel of John and one day something will jump off the page as you read it. You will read something that will speak directly to you. Just don't try too hard. It will just happen.

Thank God for the sun the birds you hear the flowers etc. He created all for us to enjoy.

God bless

Love in Christ  :rainbow: :rose:

Good morning my dear friend. And we all love you, God works through us to you. Showering His love, from all of us believers here at Talk Jesus directly to you. It's His love to you.

It is a beautiful morning here in Germany. The sky is blue and the air is fresh. It is going to be a beautiful Spring day. Now I am writing this weather check because perhaps it is significant! ...

Please hold onto to that thought of yours, because it is significant, you have noticed it's beautiful and the sky is blue and the air is fresh. Now if you had killed yourself you would not have seen that today.

Everyday can be like that, beautiful and fresh. So don't focus on the negative side of things, focus more on the positive side. Jesus is the way.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The book of Psalms are a lovely way to start your day, so start each day, by praising God, no matter how you feel. Now someone told me, whether I feel good or not, putting God first at the start of each day will work wonders and it does, believe me.

Sometimes I read and read and it did nothing. But I persevered and this is what I am telling you to do, and He will reveal Himself to you more and more each day.

Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
