I heard a song recently, a girl singing that she is “worth it.” It made me think about God and Christianity. Is God and the Christian walk truly worth it?

I would say that because God is A. good and B. our Creator. Yes, it is 100% worth it. There is no greater achievement than living faithfully as a Christian, serving a Lord who is perfectly good, just, and righteous in all His ways
If God is truly good, then every act of service, every sacrifice, and every moment of perseverance is worth it. We don’t follow Him out of empty duty, but because His character is perfectly righteous and trustworthy. When we remember who He is, it motivates us to keep going.
• God is good in all His ways — “The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does.” (Psalm 145:17)
• His plans toward us are good — “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord… “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
• Serving Him is never wasted — “Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:58)
• He rewards those who seek Him — “He rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
• His goodness is constant — “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” (Psalm 107:1)
Keep pushing forward. Keep serving. Keep trusting. He is not partly good, He is completely good. And because He is good, serving Him is truly worth it.
