Humancentric humanity wants so badly to think there is a difference between us and the rest of us. The truth is we have all been mere humans since the sixth day unto today. There is only One: God/Jesus, who is more than mere human and only One who is worthy. I worship Him, not any mere human. How far did the thief on the cross next to Jesus walk? We all should concern ourselves with ourselves, not telling others what they should do. I am of good cheer because my Lord and my God overcame. Have we not heard none good but God? I did and I am grateful to Him.

God alone is righteous. We are forgiven, Jesus said it's finished, until we are sprinkled with His blood we remain just humans or unclean, if you will.

You can refuse righteousness if you want....I will not.

My friend, you need to toss out that religion and take the Word. Religion does not work. Only the Word gives life.

Consciousness of sin to a believer is conviction

Christians can and do sin.....but I do not believe a true Christian can ever sin comfortably.
The beautiful indwelling Spirit convicts us, revealing light and truth against the contrasting ugliness of sin.

What part of you are you saying is corruptible after coming to Christ and how are you understanding being corrupted?

Why would you say you “will be” clean and then give thank unto God/Jesus who is righteous. Are “you righteous” and "clean" now? If you don't mind, explain what you are corruptable in and what part of you is corrupt.

Good day lady G. The reason we know Hebrews 10:2 is not talking about the consciousness of conviction is because Hebrews 10:3 says Israel had a "remembrance of sin." Remembrance in this context speaks to the atoning of their sins which happened yearly as Hebrews 10:1 speaks of. Every year they had to offer their sacrifices which "covered" their sins and because it could not take their sins away, this is why they had a remembrance of sins.

If the blood of bulls and goats could have taken away sins, the believers then should not have a consciousness of sin (not the conviction of sin) but sin itself. This is the whole purpose of Jesus coming; He came to “take away sin.” This is also why believers should not have a consciousness of sin because Jesus did “FINISH THE WORK” of what the blood of bulls and goats could not do; WHICH WAS TAKE AWAY SINS.

The only way you can sin is if your heart has not been circumcised and you have not been given a new heart and a new Spirit.

Should believers have a consciousness to remember sin if God does not?

Well just to be clear if a believer sins or as you call it does wrong the Holy spirit will convict that person (thanks @Fragrant Grace for this reminder n another thread)) if they are saved they will know they have done wrong sinned, when we become saved a process happens called sanctification and we begin to hate sin, and the sins of our past we hate them, we do not miss them or forget them.

If you are not convicted when you do wrong sin, or if you do not hate the sins of your past, can the Holy Spirit even be in you ???

Yes, you are right; we are not God. God is the only one that imputes sins to a believer’s account or not. God has said, He will not impute sin to a believer; not me. The reason God is not imputing sin to a believer is because He doesn’t remember a believer’s sins; they have all been put upon Jesus Christ and He crucified all sins (Rom. 8:3; Heb. 1:3). Jesus even judged Satan with every man’s sins (John 12:31: 16:11).

1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

God is the one that present a believer should not have a sin consciousness; not me. Again, I’ve never doubted that believers should not examine themselves. Where are you getting this? If you’ve read my post you would see what my take on obedience is, so you seem to be confusing me with someone who believes they can do whatever they desire without any accountability.

The context of 'God will not remember sins anymore', is simply that He sees us through Jesus / the cross. This does not mean he forgets them, or that we can no longer do sinful acts.

The Holy Ghost is not convicting a believer of sin; the Spirit is conviction the “world” of sin. Of sin because the people of the world “do not” believe. This is why the people killed Stephen because they were convicted in themselves by what he was preaching (Acts 7:54).

Joh 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Joh 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me (Jesus);
Joh 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you see me no more;
Joh 16:11 Of judgment, because “the prince of this world is judged.”

Joh 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

This is talking about Satan being being judged and cast out of the hearts of those that will believe. Satan is the nature of sin and this is where the old nature is cast out of a man's heart. Once Jesus finished His work, every believer received a new heart and a new Spirit.

Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin (Satan), condemned sin in the flesh:

Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

The old heart was of the sinful nature of Adam. The new heart is of the sinless Righteouis nature of Jesus Christ.

You have to make sure what you write is clear.

You cannot scripturally say this and verify it according to the principle scripture regarding sin. If God is not “imputing” “sin” to believers, He is not concluding them to have sinned. If God is not “concluding them to have sinned,” God does not remember man’s sins because, as you said, “He sees us through Jesus / the cross.” If God sees us through Jesus, Jesus has no sin. If you have the mind of Christ, as scripture says we do, you would have the mind of God and see yourself in Christ where scripture tells you there is no sin. If you see yourself after the mind of Adam, you see yourself in the flesh. And you see sin in yourself because you are seeing yourself after the carnal mindedness of a sinful man. God does not see you in the flesh "as you" confirmed. God sees us in Christ (Rom. 8:8, 9).

I believe and know for a fact that experience is where the freedom of Jesus Christ’s rest and peace is learned. Scriptures teach us if the blind lead the blind they both are deceived. Jesus died to make us free from any and everything that can possibly take away our peace. If the peace of God is keeping our hearts as He promised, "HOW" can Satan make us angry, sad, lustful and fearful? I do not feel bothered when I do wrong because I immediately repent and have the confidence of what God told me. I know God is never angry with me and He does not want me to be angry at myself. I set my heart to never error again. I have confidence that God's Grace is sufficient for me to "LEARN HOW" to walk perfectly upright in Him.

I used to feel emotional drama about everything until God told me to study emotions. I’ve been studying emotions for over 10 years in the world and according to scripture. If you take emotions out of the equation of life, the only thing you have is peace and rest of soul. Endorphins of the mind are what give us the "euphoria" that brings life alive when we understand interesting things of life. God created these as a natural stimulation in man which also enhances our peace. This is why people abuse drugs and alcohol and anything else that will give them a taste of the euphoric feelings and calmness. This is what Jesus has promised us in Matthew 11:28, 29. Emotions affect a person’s “soul” mentally causing people to need different vices to cope with the pains of life. The drama pains of life are “ALL” emotional.

Do I cry, get angry, frustrated and every other mental and emotional torment Satan uses against me? on occasion. Do I feel and see Satan trying to act a “FOOL” in me emotionally? Yes, but God has told me as well as all other believers to resist the devil and he will flee from you. This is a promise and God cannot lie. So I practice Godliness as He’s told me (1Ti. 4:7, 8) and I meditate on God’s word daily. If we watch and pray as God has told us, we will see Satan as he enters our mind and body and be able to resist him before he get a foothold (Mat. 26:41).

Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

One of the greatest contributors to the stagnation of one's spiritual maturity progress is not so much consciousness of sin but "obsessive focus on one's sinfulness and the sinfulness of others. To be honest I observe that a great many professed Christians fail to enter into living by the Spirit. This is not because of any maliciousness on their part...it is the result of teachings by professed Christian leaders who are guided by the human intellect rather than the Holy Spirit. Thus the existence of assemblies full of paranoid Christiophenics who still live by the Law of sin and death. The Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus is an atmosphere that requires mind renewing because the human mind is punitive focused and the Spirit is restoration centered. God, through Christ, has taken us out of the sin battle. Sin no longer has dominion over us[who are in Christ]. Our focus should be centered on God's love as depicted in all that He did for us through the gift of His Son...not on sin. We will always be reminded of our sinfulness which we must accept...it is why we needed a Savior. The Spirit minded will, however, remind themselves, "Yes, I still struggle with sinful thoughts...but it is not my righteousness that counts or is in consideration any longer.". Where one focuses one energizes in their life. Focus on sin and sin is energized in your life. Focus on God's love through Christ and Christlike-ness is energized in your life.

You’ve offered some valid point and they should be exercised daily. I agree with the majority of what you said. I really liked the energizing comments towards sin or life.

But I personally think If Christ has done something for all believers and a believer is deceived from that fact and I say nothing, I am in error

My conversation is all about love. Instead of being quiet and being the person that can reveal truth, I cannot be quiet until God tells me to.

Scripture teaches us to beware: Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

If babes in Christ are being taught by ministers that appear to be blind, saying Jesus has paid the price for sin, yet the believer still sins; there is a problem with that. If Jesus paid the price for sins and the believer still sins, this tells me they have not been redeemed from sin. This says the ransom was paid but the deliverance didn’t happen. If Christ paid the price for a believer to be delivered and made free from the sin nature and the believer still sins, they have not been liberated from the sin nature and sin still has power over them because they still sin. This would mean the price was paid in vain.

The way you "see how" is let the Spirit of God lead you through the scriptures. He will lead you in all truth (Joh. 16:13).

Heb 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, "can never with those sacrifices" which they offered year by year continually "make the comers thereunto perfect."

PERFECT FROM WHAT?

Heb 10:2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the "worshippers once purged" should have had "no more conscience of sins."

Heb 9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that "could not make him that did the service perfect," as "pertaining to the conscience;"

Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, "purge your conscience" from dead works to serve the living God?
