Hey sealight;
I know it can be hard waiting I just got out of a four year relationship it was very hard but at the same time I was in such a hurry that instead of waiting on the Lord I went on my own instinct that was not the one the Lord wanted in my life and I later came to find that out unfortunately. The Lord has the right on for you and when you get there the Lord will make it clear He will bless you beyond your imagination the Lord wrote your book a long time ago it's not a matter of if but of when soon Mr. right will be walking through those doors and into your arms. Hey Gelly, you have gave me hope! cos i am 45, i thought i wouldnt find a christian partner. I was reading the thread and most of them seem young, i would say to them...please wait...because if you rush into something..that's not of God's will, you could end up like me with divorce. a man or woman can even pretend to be a christian just to marry you, or have a relationship. Please dont go down that road.. i did and my kids are teenagers now and it messed their heads up big time. He turned out he beat me, drank every day, there was no money, cos he gambled. so my choice wasnt good, was it?
Im still picking up the peices from my choice 25 years ago.

I didnt , once i took my eyes of the Lord, the devil got in. Keep your eyes fixed upon Jesus, the finisher and author of our faith.

I hope God does bring me someone, if not, i know it is in His will, not mine.
