Stop Churchianity!!!!!!

Rom 12:4; For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function,
Rom 12:5; so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

These are not talking about building or denomination either. True believers are 1 body with many members. But if you do not become a member of one of our great denominations floating around the earth here, you are probably not saved and your going to go to hell without that great membership to our fine incorporated businesses. But I am the one that has it all wrong.

OK, it's not talking about a building here. Agreed. But it is saying that it takes a lot of members together to make up a church.
You don't have to meet in a building. Although it may be more convenient and comfortable in the rain and snow and cold.
Pews are more comfortable than the cold hard ground. A place with a mailing address is easier to find than "in some field somewhere".
OK, we don't have to be in a building. But we are supposed to be part of a Christian community. A fellowship of believers.
A gathering of worshippers. This taught over and over again in the Bible.
In fact the Bible teaches against standing alone. While this may not necessarily keep you out of heaven, it is what the Bible teaches
so why fight against it so hard?

Almost all cults started when a person (say Joseph Smith for example) isolated himself and went off in the woods alone "to be with God".
Now being alone sometimes isn't always bad. Even Jesus went off by himself sometimes. But we were made to fellowship.
It is not good for man to be alone.
A cord of three strands is not easily broken.
Where two are more are gathered in my name, I will be there also.
Do not forsake the assembling together of yourselves as some have started doing.
The body is one body but it has many members.

If you are alone and isolated you cannot pray for someone else, they can't pray for you.
You have no accountability to anyone. You likely do not give money to a church or missions.
No one can encourage you or intercede for you, You can't forgive anyone and no one can forgive you.
You can't love anyone and no one can love you.

You may still make it to heaven, but this isn't what the Bible teaches us how to be.

We , as Christians are called to be churched but, what you say is not true and no where in scripture does it say you must be a member of a church to be saved. Your salvation is a gift of grace and faith from God and nothing else!

That is a great point. However, I would love to sit with anyone and just talk Jesus. It is hard to see Christ in churches. Not because of sinners being in there, rather because he has not truly been welcomed or taught in the buildings for a long time. There might be a few but they are so far and few in between we would probably searching our whole lives out to find them.

I know a church where they love to talk Jesus as you described. But they don't believe in the Trinity. Would you go to such a church? What is more important, the doctrine or the relationships?

They don't know Jesus then, do they?

The doctrine has to be true first and for most in any body claiming to be Christian or of Christ. But I know many churches that do not believe in the word trinity. However they still believe in the father son and holy spirit.

That was the point with what I wrote concerning going to hell. that was actually my sarcasm on how church has been being taught in the buildings for far to long.

I love this B-A-C, but it is not the building or the gathering that I am fighting so hard against. It is the lies, that are pronounced as truths. The manipulations to keep people from truly coming to Christ whole heartedly. How so many claim the works in these buildings and yet they have no authority in Christ. The competition between them to see who can get the most people. I do not believe that they are lead by Christ any longer. Churches are dead because of these things. Many do not know the true power of God and will not see because of the ways these things are taught. My soul cries because of the souls not making it to heaven and these institutions have been part of the cause. Jesus even warns us of these things. Pray on these things and ask the lord. He will show you I promise. He loves us like that and wants us to know the truth.
