Hebrews 5: 12 - 14
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
I hear people say all the time "well the holy ghost is going to teach me".
The holy spirit is not going to teach you anything, especially when you already don't know anything. God set up teachers and preachers in his church for a reason. In order to learn you need to be taught and that is the very first principle of the oracles of God. Oracles simply means answers.
Revelation 1: 1 - 2
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
This is the protocol and absolutely no one can break it.
The Father --> Jesus Christ --> Angel --> John (Israelite)
Now we got to examine Paul because this is the apostle people love to use to say the holy ghost will teach me.
Acts 9: 3 - 6, 17 - 19
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
(Paul was sent to a man so that he can receive the holy ghost)
18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
19 And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
What was Paul doing with the disciples? He was learning from them. They taught him because the gift of the holy ghost is to REMIND YOU what Jesus have said. So if you never taught the gospel the holy ghost can't remind you of anything. (John 14: 26)
The holy ghost teaches as well according to the protocol. So the holy ghost teaches an Israelite and that Israelites job is to spread it to all men. that was the case with Daniel when Gabrielle showed up to him. Cornelius was not an Israelite in Acts 10, so the holy ghost spake to Peter and then Peter taught the Gentile. Since the entire bible is now written then the holy ghost only needs to remind someone what was written assuming you were taught correctly.
Galatians 1: 11 - 12
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
This is why Paul's writings are hard to understand. We all read in the book of Acts that neither Jesus nor the Holy Ghost taught Paul directly. He received the gift of the Holy Ghost from someone who knew and walked in the truth. That's how baptism works.
He received the knowledge of God according to the protocol in Revelation 1, but he was, in fact, taught; it just didn't originate from man. It originated from God. That's what Paul is saying here. So, if you want to learn about God, you need to learn from an Israelite who follows Christ, because there are some Israelites out there who do not follow Christ, in fact most of them don't follow Christ. They dress in purple and scream at people but the bible said they would do that and all prophecy must be fulfilled.
