A lot of people seek to prolong their days on earth by exercising and eating right. But did you know God gave a command with a promise to prolong your days?
Here it is….
Ephesians 6:2
Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
So what was the promise if you keep this command?
Exodus 20:12
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be longupon the land which the Lordthy God giveth thee.
Deuteronomy 5:16
Honour thy father and thy mother, as the Lordthy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.”
Is not that a lot easier than eating right and exercise?
