My God is Triune. So, I can say Jesus is God. And Jesus is the Son of God, meaning the Son of the Father, because I allow for Three Persons, and a relationship Father-Son between Them.
My beliefs are three, too.
You are missing the point.
You say Jesus is God.
I could say what you say to me, and that is that when you say Jesus is God, you are denying that he is a son.
The difference is that you only allow for One Person, the Father.
I don't say they are each "Persons" as you teach. I don't say the Father is a person.
That is you not being more careful on what others say.
I told you plainly that I never heard that God the Father was called a "Person", and I asked you for scriptures that you never gave.
A person is a physical body with its own spirit within them.
And so, you said it yourself, you think Jesus is the Father... "as a Son".
When you have Jesus, you also have the Father. See 1 John 2:23 No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
Jesus is God the Father made visible.
So, when you say Jesus is the Son of God, you mean The Father is the Son of Himself. You do greatly err.
You are twisting things to try to deflect from your beliefs.
You refuse to answer my questions and you keep saying I say things that I don't say.
Give the scriptures that say there are THREE SPIRITS.
You say the Father is a Spirit, and the Son is a DIFFERENT SPIRIT, and the Holy Spirit is yet another DIFFERENT SPIRIT.
You can't defend your beliefs with scripture, so you twist what I say. That is not the right way to be.
In order to confess Jesus is the Son of God, you must allow for the Person of Jesus to exist. Jesus must be a Distinct Person from the Father, in order for there to be a Father-Son relationship between Them. Or else, you can only have the Father beeing the Son of Himself. And "as a Son" isn't going to change that.
I have already told you but you go on and on as if you weren't told. As long as you don't use the word 'distinct' to mean different, then they are distinct, but not different.
