Being born again means being born of the incorruptible word of righteousness--those things of truth including understanding, wisdom, knowledge, etc. I do not believe any soul is born condemned.
So then... if I am reading this correctly... Everyone is born saved. (none are born condemned) and everyone stays saved, because "of the incorruptible word of righteousness".
Or is it possible some get "un-saved" along the way?
We think of conservatives as people who want things to stay the same, and liberals as people who want things to change. But that isn't really the classic definition.
Liberals believe man is born "good" and learns to be evil by influences around him.
Conservatives believe man is born "evil" and learns to be good by influences around him (i.e. Jesus).
There are people who teach that in order for infants to be "saved", at least one parents has to be saved.
1Cor 7:14; For the unbelieving husband is sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified through her believing husband; for
otherwise your children are unclean, but now they are holy.
There have been several studies done in orphanages, where infants are not taught morals, or anything really. In every case children learn to fight, argue, steal, lie and be selfish without any outside influence.
It seems sin is human nature. If it wasn't we wouldn't need Jesus.
Psa 51:5; Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.
Eph 2: 3; Among them we too
all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.
Rom 3: 23; for
all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Rom 3:10; as it is written, “There is none righteous,
not even one;
