The Uk and Rock music

oh I see! Well yes you can physically listen to Marilyin Manson if you want to (facinating man by the way) but I wouldn't recommend it.
As I said in the previous post I tend to stick to the 80/20 rule. In any secular music there gonna be about 20% of it you may disagree with and I think thats fine. I might skip over the odd song every now and again because it doesn't connect to me but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop listening to a band entirely because I don't agree with some of the stuff they're playing. Obviously if the body of a group's work is against God then I'm not going to be buying much of their stuff.
I guess this type of thing is a personal choice but you take my music away and I have very little left to talk to non christians about. I was brought up in the music business, spent a good few nights sleeping in the back of cars while my parents derigged (my dad is a sound engineer and my mum used to help him in the early days). Music is in my bones and my blood and my soul. When I sit and listen to a song I connect to I can feel it around me and surging through me like I'm floating on an ocean of sound. Its more than just a passing preference, this is spiritual and I can feel God in it.

I think the interesting point in what you hear is what worshipes GOD. Because we must(have to?!) worship with our full life Jesus. So, if my classmate asks me what am I listening, and I can say, that this song is about Jesus Christ, or about something problem that GOD fixes, it is a good worship.
And for the topic-answer: I normally listen rock music: Delirious?, YFriday, Superhero (these bands are from the UK) , Hillsong, Ian McIntosh, Planetshakers, Jesus Culture, Generation Unleashed... And bands from Hungary.
