I prayed and asked for the Holy Spirit but I don’t feel it like how you said you will know when I receive his gift
Well, you have not receive it, yet!...... Use, common sense.
Remember, GOD is not a "Genie" in a Bottle, and you rub him three times and he gives your three wishes. ...Nor are you a "Magician"who speaks the words of "ABRACADABRA' and then it suddenly appears.
Proved to GOD that you are real. Start reading your Bible from the Beginning to The Book of Revelation. Learn who GOD is and His Character, "you might not like HIM" after you learn who HE is By reading the whole.Book.... Mankind cannot reveal who GOD is, Neither can our "Imagination". The reading of The Entire Book can. Prove to HIM you want to know HIM. Remember "Talk is Cheap". If you "Love" me show me, Get to know me for who I am, spend time with me. And not the counsel of men.
Show me, that you want to love me, spend time with me. Why would you give a woman a "gift" and she does not act like, she likes or want to get to know you, by spending time with you. The "Holy Spirit" is a GIFT.
Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
"On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.....
Whoever has My Commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who Loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him AND REVEAL Myself to him.”" [GOD does not lie] men do.
[If you are real, and read "The BOOK" lawfully and in proper order, He will be real and faithful to you.]
Because Many People are like this:
Jesus said: (Matthew 15) NIV
“ ‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
They worship me in vain;
their
[men] teachings are merely human rules.’"
'[ about me]'
"For narrow is the Gate and Hard is The WAY" and there be Few that find it.
Get on the path and stay it!
The Persistent Widow
“In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected men.
And there was a widow in that town who kept appealing to him, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ ..For a while he refused, but later he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect men,…"
For a while he refused, but later he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect men, ..yet because this widow keeps pestering me, I will give her justice. Then she will stop wearing me out with her perpetual requests.’ ”
And the Lord said, “Listen to the words of the unjust judge. Will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night? Will He continue to defer their help? I tell you, He will promptly carry out justice on their behalf."
