Think I Should Ask For Prayer

I love God so much.
I think that I am slipping and heading towards having bad habits/addictions again. I want to be free from this pull completely and I ask You Jesus Christ, to help me be totally addictive free. If I head back to my old habits, especially smoking, I will let my children down so much. They love me so much and respect me so much, I need to be deserving of that respect.
I love You Lord. You have always been my best Friend and my Favorite Person ever, ever, ever...
Could you all please pray for me. I just need some more strength and better health too. Thanks a lot and thanks for always being witnesses to the absolute love of Christ. I love You Lord God, Heavenly Father. Amen:Pixie:sun: :love:
 
Amen Lord! I am in agreement with Sister Pixie's prayer Lord Jesus.

It's really good that you are wanting to stay away from those things sister. Don't push it away. Be aware of it. The devil is always trying to bring us down! Continue to lean on the Father.

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

Sister I thought about you yesterday and was wondering how you doing? I missed your praise song to the Lord in the thread. I prayed that you are ok and when I came online this morning you were there with all the Praising. I felt relieved.
I want you to believe stronger than ever that the Lord will relieve you from all bad habits as we pray this.
Dear Father in Heaven, We are sinners and please forgive me my sins and help me to live the life you want me to live. I know that evil is live spelled backwards so let me turn evil around and spell it LIVE. I want to live in Your shadow of love and protection Lord. Lord let Your will be done. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

People who have been a smoker and wanted to give up have asked God to help them and take away the desire to smoke. He has done this for them as He love all. They often find when they try and smoke they cannot physically do it. He answers prayers.

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Habits are easy to make and hard to break.

If you have given up the bad habits then ask Jesus to help you stay away from them. You are a new creation the old has gone and the new has come 2 Cor.5.17.

2 Corinthians 10:5
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Keep your eyes on Jesus dear sister and dwell on the good scriptures which are God's love letter to us.

You know that we battle against our flesh and have to put it under daily too.
Likewise when we sin we have to confess it and keep short accounts with God.

Father I pray that you will show pixie how much You love her and want her to have the abundant life that You came to give us. Help her to keep her focus on You and not on herself and when temptation comes to go back to old ways, show her how to stand on Your Word and quote scripture just like You did when Your were tempted for forty days. Thank you Father for bringing pixie here as she is such a blessing to us all. You know how much she loves you too. Remind her to put on her armour each day too in Jesus' name amen.

You are all so beautiful, with the rainbow of God in your hearts. Thank you Zulu, for your wisdom and thank you Dreamer and ldaylovesJesus. I love you deeply in the Lord Jesus Christ. He surely has brought us as a family together and is knitting us, even as I write. (I told Him I don't want to be knit, I want to be crocheted). I was delivered from smoking marijuana years ago, only by the power of Jesus Christ. I tried on my own (before I was saved) and set a perfect record of failure. When I accepted Jesus, He broke the bondage and set me free. He will do the same for you, even when your tempted.
