“Now I want you to know, brethren, that my circumstances have turned out for the greater progress of the gospel, so that my imprisonment in the cause of Christ has become well known throughout the whole praetorian guard and to everyone else, and that most of the brethren, trusting in the Lord because of my imprisonment, have far more courage to speak the word of God without fear.” (Philippians 1:12-14 NASB’95)

The apostle Paul was in prison for teaching about Jesus Christ and for preaching the message of the gospel of our salvation. But he was rejoicing because, for the sake of the name of Jesus and the sake of the gospel, the word of his imprisonment only worked for the greater progress of the gospel. So it backfired on his opponents who were attempting to stop the spreading of the truth of the gospel. The same happened when they killed Jesus. His death on that cross only served to spread the gospel, not to stop it.

And I have shared before my testimony of how I kept meeting with rejection and persecution over again within the gatherings of institutional incorporated under (partnered with) the state “churches” (businesses) which are being marketed to the people of the world. For they were altering the character of God, and of his church, and of his gospel, and they were becoming very worldly and more permissive about sin, and so I did not “fit” with them for I stood for righteousness, truth, the purity of the word, and obedience to God.

So, finally the Lord convinced me to come out from among them, for they had no place for me, and they kept rejecting me and pushing me aside. So he sent me to the internet, instead, where for almost 21 years he has been having me share my times of devotion with him in his word each day on the internet in the forms of devotions, songs, poems, memes, books, and video talk devotions. And the gospel is spreading to people all over the world. So the rejection I faced only served to advance the teaching of the gospel.

“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose. But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better; yet to remain on in the flesh is more necessary for your sake. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith, so that your proud confidence in me may abound in Christ Jesus through my coming to you again.” (Philippians 1:21-26 NASB’95)

And this is the attitude that all of us should take who follow Jesus Christ with our lives. And for me, at the age of 75, I am definitely feeling what Paul felt and expressed. I am so ready to be with my Lord and to no longer be living in this wicked and evil world with all that is going on in our world and in my nation. I long for the day when all this will be over and I will be with my Lord for eternity. But I know he has me still here for a reason, and I want to do his will and to follow his leading in continuing to share his word each day.

So, for to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. I agree! I know that I will continue to live on this earth as long as the Lord has a purpose for me to be here, and as long as I am able to be used by him in the spreading of the truth of his word and of his gospel message. And when he is finished with me on this earth, he will take me home to be with him, and I look forward to that day. But I am very thankful that he chose me to be one of his and that he called me to this ministry, but he gets all the glory for the good it does.

All is for the glory of God and for the salvation of human lives. All is for the strengthening and encouragement of the body of Christ in our walks of faith in obedience to our Lord and to his commands. All is for changed lives, for those who walk in darkness to now come to the Light of Jesus Christ and of his gospel message so that, by faith in him, they will die with him to sin and now walk with him in obedience to his commands in holy living. And all is being led by the Spirit and empowered by God, and not of human flesh.

And all is for the purpose of teaching the truth of the gospel of our salvation in a day and time when so many people are altering and diluting the message of the gospel to make it more acceptable and appeasing to human flesh. For the lies need to be exposed for what they are, and the truth needs to be proclaimed in opposition to the lies. For many people are following the lies to their deaths, and they need to hear and to believe the truth so that they can turn from their sins and now obey the Lord, in his power.

The gospel that Jesus and his New Testament apostles taught, teaches us that we must deny self, put sin to death in our lives daily, by the Spirit, and walk (in conduct, in practice) in obedience to our Lord and to his commands. For this is what genuine biblical faith looks like. Faith = obedience, and disobedience = unbelief. This doesn’t make us perfect, but if sin continues to be our practice, and not obedience to the Lord and to his commands, then we will not inherit eternal life with God, even if we claim to have faith.

I AM

By L. Wayne Hilliard / Michael W. Smith

I am the root of David,
The bright and morning star,
I am the Lion of Judah,
I am, I am,
I am Alpha and Omega,
The beginning and the end,
The first and the last –
I am, I am.

I am faithful and true,
I am the Word of God,
I am the Lamb, I am, I am.
I am the Resurrection
And He that lives,
I am alive forever, Amen, Amen.
I am the King of kings and Lord of lords,
I am holy, holy Lord God Almighty
Which was, and is, and is to come,
I am, I am, I am that I am.
I am, I am, I am!

To Live is Christ, To Die is Gain
An Original Work / March 26, 2025

Muslims reported me for preaching hate to them and took me to court but it backfired on tham as from the dock I pointed them out and said: 'They are all walking dead and will be slaughteerd when Jesus returns!'

They just sneered but I rely upon Matthew 10:14

All who Live Godly will be persecuted. Because the religious lives humanly. They don't have the Holy Spirit by which they manifest the Life of Jesus in Living and Being it. Thus their religions of the mind is revealed in the Presence of Godly Lives and they have to persecute them. To get them away to keep on existing in their darkness they are creating more and more and more. And on the other side the Light is being Revealed more and more and more. Till the Full Day and the full night. Then all can see clearly.

Rev. 22:
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

This topic is on being persecuted by the religious Christians, Sister. Seems they are happy with you? This mean you are part of those persecuting me and our Sister @Sue J Love who wrote here?
took me to court
Yep. They are not yet able to Forgive and Reply in Wisdom of God and Rebuke you, Sister.
it backfired on tham as from the dock I pointed them out and said: 'They are all walking dead and will be slaughteerd when Jesus returns!'
I agree with them, Sister. This is hatred. Jehovah is always Grace and will never "slaughter" anyone. That is why He Forgave all who "slaughtered" Him on the cross to be our Example to do the same. And when we enter "being slaughtered" and we Forgive and don't "threaten" as you did then the world see the Gospel of God's Grace Lived in front of their eyes.

yep. They can not do different. They are still human. But you profess you are of God yet are just the same. But you are just our Baby we Love to pick you up from the "dust Lucifer is eating" and living. Where you also persecute the "Godly Christians". And serve the Purpose of God to reveal the darkness and the Light of the dead Christians in Adam and the Living Christians in Jesus.

The BIble actually says all antichrists like Muslims will be destroyed when Jesus returns.

I feel the same way—it truly is difficult to find a church today that hasn't compromised with the world. Many places that claim to be the body of Christ are increasingly conforming to cultural trends, diluting the truth of God’s Word, and becoming tolerant of sin in the name of love or unity. What you’ve experienced is sadly not uncommon. Scripture warns us that in the last days, many will not endure sound doctrine, but will seek teachers to suit their own desires (2 Timothy 4:3-4). It is painful to be rejected by those who claim to follow Christ, but Jesus Himself said, “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you” (John 15:18). Even Jesus was rejected by his own people when He spoke the truth in the synagogue. Though full of grace and authority, His words were not welcomed by all. This reminds us that rejection often comes not because of error, but because the truth pierces the heart (Luke 4:28). Standing for truth, righteousness, and obedience will often mean standing alone or being cast aside. But God is faithful, and like you said, He even uses rejection for His glory. Your obedience has borne fruit far beyond what many institutionalized gatherings ever see. The church isn’t confined to buildings or organizations—wherever believers walk in truth and share the Word, Christ is present. Thank you for staying faithful and letting God use your voice to reach hearts worldwide.

If you get a Bible and read it you will find numerus instances of GOD slaughtering evil people= such as the entire population of the world in the flood.

Nope. It was an angel who did it. And it was the consequences of mankind they reaped, "Sister".

Gen. 6:
5 ¶And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.*n1*n2
6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.*n3
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

We are never "spared from reaping consequences of our evil actions". Just as David had to suffer the consequences of murdering a "Brother" after falling before the lust demon. And all that happened and all who died as result of David's evil actions were killed by an angel and not God. This was clearly seen in the consequences of his "pride in his nation".

1 Chr 21:15 And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the Lord beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand.

God just allows the consequences of evil to go its way in being a Righteous God.

Jeremiah 2: 19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the Lord thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord God of hosts.

But He Himself is the God of Love and Grace and Forgiveness. And it was the best seen on the cross when they killed Him and He Forgave.

bdavidc, thank you for those encouraging words. Most appreciated. God be glorified!! God bless you. Yes, these are the times we now live in.

God be praised, because he uses it for his purposes and glory.
And His Purpose and Glory in any persecution of any of His Children is for the sake of that Child and its Spiritual Growth. It is for that Child of His To enjoy God's Purpose for His Life in Glory too. Where He is directly part of the Purpose of God which it totally God's Purpose for that Child. The Purpose God had for that Child all along. And where the Glory of God is directly part of that Child to enjoy with His "Abba Father/Daddy". It is a Purpose and Glory both enjoy in being One. Just as we saw the Glorious Life of Father and Son in the Word of Jesus being a Purpose both enjoyed in being One.

John 17:
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
