I will show you what you should be concerned with. I believe the Spirit that is guiding me is the Holy Spirit.

Matt 12:31-32
31 "Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
32 "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.

Squeaky,
For everyone on this thread, if you are truly devout to your belief and with no extra verbiage, answer these two questions with a simple yes or no:
  1. Do you deny Jesus is God?
  2. Does Satin deny Jesus is God?
In all fairness, you can ask me any question as well!

If the "guests" are different from the "bride", then the guests must be other believers (both Jews and gentiles) who didn't measure up, because in Christ, there is no difference between Jew and gentile. The bride therefore must be chosen on the basis of faithfulness.

That has always been the problem with the carnal mind. Its subject to influence of every spirit within a person. Carnal logic using "must be", has to be, sould be.

8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

King Jesus will decide who goes where:

"For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works" Mt.16:27

But getting back to whether Jesus is God, what do you think of these:

"...they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them." 1 Sa.8:7

"And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever.." Lk.1:33

I think God has a great sense of humor!

To be in Christ is to be in the revelations of Jesus Christ....
To be "in Christ" simply means to reject the flesh and walk in the Spirit:

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Ro.8:1

There's nothing hard or mysterious about this. If you're walking with Jesus, you're in Him.

Now, this is really getting interesting and you are certainly unique. Let's clarify what you said and then I will answer you most directly!
  1. You said:

  • You deny Jesus is God.
  • Jesus denies Jesus is God.
  • Paul denies Jesus is God
  • Satin denies jesus as God.
  • O.K, now I do not want to put words in your mouth but, from what you say above, You, Jesus, Paul and the Devil all have this is in common: you believe Jesus is not God. And I think it even gets better. Since, according to you, the Holy Spirit talks to you and instructs you on everything, you must also be saying that the Holy Spirit agrees with the Devil on this issue. You must have a greater knowledge than the rest of us, because you have miraculously created the doctrine that the true good in the universe agrees with the true bad in the universe!
  • And another confusing thing. You say that the Holy Spirits talks to you but you have the revelation of jesus Christ. Which is it, the Holy Spirit or Jesus that talks to you or are they both the same?
2. O.K, as promised, my simply yes and no answer to your question:
  • Does Jesus deny he is God.....my answer, No!!!!
  • Does Paul deny Jesus is God....My answer, No!!!

This is why I asked if you were (or had ever been) a Jehovah's Witness. JW's and other fringe groups will find one or two verses that out of context seem to be stating something that they really are not, and will hang onto them tighter than a pit bull when it bites down.

There are many number of verses, which you have already been shown, that clearly show that Jesus Christ is equal with God. For example:

John 5:18
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Your interpretation of John 17:3 and the plain meaning of John 5:18 (as well as a number of other verses) cannot both be true. One is right and the other is wrong, or they are both wrong. They both can't be right.

Yes, the Father is the one true God. The Son of God is equal to and is part of the Father, and is just as much the one true God as the Father. Nothing in John 17:3 says otherwise.

This may seem like a contradiction to our human minds, but that is only because we do not have the ability to comprehend the fulness of who God is beyond our limited perspective. Once we leave these jars of clay and enter into eternity, these things will all make sense. But, the problem is, we need to be reconciled to God in this lifetime. If we are not, there is no second chance, once judgement day comes, it's game over.

The scriptures plainly teach that Jesus Christ is equal with the Father, and is part of one being, the Godhead, who alone is worthy of all honor, glory, and praise. To deny this is to count yourself not worthy of salvation, to willingly cut yourself off from the true Vine (Jesus) and to set yourself up for destruction by fire. No one who denies that Jesus Christ is LORD will enter into salvation. Some day, every creature will bow the knee and declare that Jesus Christ is LORD to the glory of the Father, it's best to do this ahead of that day, and to do so willingly.

Psalm 2
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.

  • No, you used the word "Liar" please don't put that word in my mouth and falsely accuse me!
  • What I did say, well I haven't said it yet but I will now: You don't have a clue of what you think you do and there is no way the Holy Spirit is telling you these things. Now, I have said this before: it is not the Holy Spirit that guides you but, because you clearly agree with Satan on this matter of diety, it is an evil Spirit that is talking to you.
  • In neither of the verses you keep quoting, say the Trinity doesn't exist. You know nothing of spiritual matters. God is spirit and you must worship him in spirit and truth. The truth is, physically there was Jesus and Paul. Spiritually is God. Jesus and Paul were, in no way, denying that God was the God head....God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit.
  • I have already quoted you many verses that talk about the diety of Jesus but, of course, you just went right past those wiyhout saying a word!
  • Now, I have told you what I think about your verses, tell me how you translate this one: Matthew 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”....that is God with us, not Jesus with us, not the Holy Spirit with us....it says God with us!

I said
That is an oxymoron. Go back and read it. I haven't been shown one verse that says "Jesus is God". But I have shown you revelations, and verses that all say the Father is the only true God Jesus Himself said that He and us have the very same God an the very same Father.

John 20:17
17 Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.'"
(NKJ)
I'm not the one who is adding their own version to what they say. I prove all that I say with the Word. Your the ones with the hardhearted attitudes. You all are the ones that go OUTSIDE OF SCRIPTURE to make your point. NOT ME. If you don't know who Jesus is you will never know who God is. Because Jesus has to reveal who God is. And He will only do that for true believers.

Matt 11:27
27 "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
(NKJ)
Lets face it all your beliefs come from outside the Word, your imagination. There is no where in scripture where it says. Trinity, diety, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.
You all have been tricked into believing that. To the point it has made you hardhearted. You cant see the truth even when it is put right in front of you.

Crucifying the flesh is no guarantee of receiving special revelations from God. Aside from this, when a believer says God has shown them something, it should be confirmed by other believers whether it is truly from God.

So, you don't believe Jesus is God incarnate, but you believe God gives you special rrevelations which have no need of church conformation? Sounds like you're on your way to cultism
