1 Peter 3:17
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God's will, than for doing evil.

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

1 Peter 2:15
For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.

1 Thessalonians 5:18
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1 Thessalonians 4:3
For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality;

John 7:17
If anyone's will is to do God's will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority.

Thank you for bringing these verses into the chat. I will be reviewing them.

Hi Dave,
Simply put.... His Word is His Will for man.

This makes all the difference when praying.
If it be your will (faithless) vs. Knowing His Will (Word) and expectancy

Blessings

Greetings @StudentX354 ,

I would like to encourage you....

I normally keep my praying etc between me and the Lord. However, I was outside praying for you a few minutes ago and as I asked, a brilliant sort of shooting star flowed across the sky with multiple colours. I must say it was the most beautiful one I have yet seen and I spend time out under the stars daily now for well over 30 years.

Of course i said, "thank you LORD"

Bless you and yours ....><>

That is awesome. It really shows the amazing universe and how amazing and graceful God really is.
When I was 16. I used to go out to the field outside my house and watch the stars. Clear as day I must say!!! Stars are awesome to look at. Especially when it is clear.
Thank you for sharing that with me.

You probably need to get up early and go shake hands every day even in bad weather. When a job seeker comes to me when I can't employ them at the moment, I send them out job hunting with a referral if they impress me, dressed for work but more along the line of mid-management. Always dress a little better than expected. You can always pull the tie off and roll up sleeves. As you walk around be thanking God for helping you connect with the person He desires. Ask Him to steer you away from the wrong scenario.

Smile, don't take up anyone's time too much. You are to make yourself available. Many employers are now very hesitant to advertise a job or interview due to possibly having to hire someone they would greatly regret. The better places of employment want to get to know a prospect, then ease you in. Look for undone tasks, volunteer to help without pay. I suggested to an 80 year old retiree to go to Lowes and quietly straighten out nut and bolts, put merchandise where it belongs. If asked why you do that, say you like to make things better if you don't mind. A week later they hired him for inventory. He does everything he can find to do now, keeping trash picked up, etc. except loading vehicles. He can go directly to whatever a customer seeks. They love him.

Once a business manager sees potential in you, they might call a friend to take a look. Ask God for a gift of helps, to learn very quickly what is to be done. I was in a store lately looking for Moon Pies, where my wife said she bought some before. I made every effort to find them, with no success from a clerk. I got down on my knees and finally spotted some turned backward on the bottom shelf, pushed way back. While at that I straightened more products. The clerk offered me a job there, but I said I knew someone they would like that would do well there.

There are many more ideas. Ask God for a witty invention. One idea from God can be a mighty blessing to a business. Rather than try to get them to break a bad expensive habit, work on that yourself. Be a problem solver in the background. Mighty God has many solutions, and can dispatch angels to help you along. Be careful not to offend your angel.

I'll be praying along that line.

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 1Timothy 4:12

Greetings StudentX354,

if you do read this, please know that God has His perfect purpose and plan for you and me and in fact all others.
Your short stay here has blessed me and it is my prayer that you were blessed in some of the time you were here.

Trust in the Lord always. Sometimes we don't know the outcome and in fact. usually we don't but every little bit that happens is part of God's tapestry and occasionally we get glimpses of how the picture is looking from His side. Until then know that all things do work together for good as the Bible tells us.
Give thanks and trust Him Who loves you.

Godspeed

Bless you and yours ....><>

Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. 1Timothy 4:12
