It is unwise when someone says they "forgive" to assume and site publicly that they are lying unless they follow your idea of what it should be. Be a lion, not a goat.
@Brad Huber I never assumed anything or was there a word about Lying. if there was any assumption, That was on you part!! Even in closing I stated: " Glorify the Father with your actions of forgiveness, Just saying the words “I Forgive” is only the first step in Truly Walking with Christ Jesus," Let the Holy Spirit convict you on the rest.
Remember our Lord did not require any actions from or of us for the forgiveness given. It was unconditional. Which is what Paul was talking about in Ephesians 4:31
Thank you for your prayer's, @Christ4Ever!! your input was Good and Helpfully to all who read it. The writings in my above Post was just the building blocks of a sermon not finished! Just one thing as you quoted above for the forgiveness given. The Lord did only require one thing of us!! and that is the action one most take for the forgiveness of Christ Jesus!!!!
Romans 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
God’s words are so powerful and loving. Jesus demonstrated these words in such a beautiful way while He walked this earth. He did not come to judge and rule at that time (he will one day though). He came simply to die to provide a way for eternal life to all who accept and receive Him. There is no more important decision that you will have in all of your life. Sometimes people come to hear the words of Scripture and they think there must be more to it. They think that there must be more to accepting Jesus Christ than what Jesus says. Will you accept Jesus today? Jesus is waiting for you. Revelation 3:20 says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” Jesus does not force the door open nor force you to believe in Him. He stands patiently and knocks. He is there right now for you if you have not followed Him. It is so worth it. Open the door of your heart to him today.
John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son." 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed." 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
