So We ask the Father for something, .....and we do not receive it. Even though it is promised in the Word....

Who failed? God? Us? What happened?

Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Lack of what knowledge? Many of us know what the Word says...What are we missing?

I want to scream out in rage at Gods people getting creamed and there is no need for it.

Knowledge = fear of the Lord=keeping the commandments=acting on the revelation God has given.

God says....My people perish for a lack of Knowledge.

Some people teach...once you are saved you can do what you like because grace covers it. So they refuse to deal with the sin in thier life, they do not heed the warnings of Jesus 'why do you call me Lord and do not the things that I say. So they refuse to be watchful agaisnt sin, they refuse to be watchful against false teaching and then they begin to perish, as disobedience allows the enemy to build a stonghold and then they become once again entangled in sin.

Jesus/God gives us all the knowledge we need, it is our choice if we dont fear the consequences of not following that advice. If we don't fear God we don't believe his word.

Let's go back to the Lord's Prayer.

Sometimes we have to walk by FAITH and not by what we see...for what we see isn't what is truly happening or it will deceive us.

I can't always understand everything God does, but I have faith that He will ALWAYS do what He says and never leave or forsake us.

Our God is BIG, HUGE! The universe is held in the palm of his hand!

The battle we are in is in our minds! Satan is subtle and the father of lies. He will slip into your mind and tell you things...things that will undermine God.

YOU have the authority because Jesus dwells in YOU...to rebuke satan and tell him where he can go.


Father God, I pray right not for our minds to be covered in the blood of Jesus. I pray for our hearts to be filled with YOUR Word and YOUR glory! I bind satan in the name of Jesus and cast him out of our minds. You no longer have dominion over us, satan! I ask Holy Spirit to renew us and to dwell in us and take over. My God is BIG and He is my strength, my strong tower! I run to Him for safety. I ask for the presence of almighty God to dwell in us and to take over. I surrender all I am and my will is Yours, Lord. Thy will be done, Lord. I praise You for You alone are holy, worthy is the Lamb! I pray this is the mighty name of Jehovah God, Amen!



P.S. Let me ask this...If someone dies and you prayed for them to live, does that mean God answered or not?

I believe He did. Dying (if that person is a Christian) is the GREATEST thing...to be absent from the body...is to be present with the Lord! God heard and healed the person in the best way...there's no more pain or sorrow for them!

What I understand you to say is that. I pray for someone to be healed and he dies, its God's will. Is that right?

God said "By Jesus stripes you were healed" So the man should be healed because it's Gods will. If the man is not healed, either God is lying and sent Jesus to suffer and die for nothing, (murder) or I am not believing Gods Word.

The very idea of God doing something contrary to His Word is pukeworthy.

"You lead us not into temptations. (Temptation, trials, adversity etc)

He does NOT lead us there. Why? Its not His Will.

I can say categorically that it is Not His Will Why? Its in His Word that we are the healed.

I'm confused. Are you frustrating because healing for your child hasn't ocurred? There is more than one way to receive healing. Brother Mike is an expert in this area! Pm him. He helped me tremendously when I was very ill! He knows the Word in this area as good as anyone.

this is what I was meaning...that there is more than one way to receive healing.

My pastors call dying...for the Christian...the ultimate healing. there is no more pain or sorrow for that person.


My mom had open heart surgery in 1998. I was 17 and very scared. I prayed to God...and I told him I understood if He took her from us. I knew that she wouldn't have any more pain or sorrow. But by His grace, He let her stay here. I'll never understand why, but I so glad she's still here.

I don't know what happened in your situation. God understands. He knows your pain better than anyone.

If indeed your child wasn't healed and died, I'm truly sorry. May God heal your hurt the only way He can. May the nail scarred hands of Jesus wrap around you and comfort you.

I truly believe we look at life here entirely different than the Lord does. To Him calling one of His own home is a great honor and a great joy.
To us who live on this cursed earth we groan and travail with all creation awaiting our redemption and the final end of sickness and death.
Paul the great Apostle himself was infirmed.
Elisha died of infirmity and yet simply touching his bones raised another from the dead (2Ki 13:20-21)

My experience tells me that God :
Sometimes heals by miracle.
Sometimes heals by Doctor or natural means.
Sometimes He does not calm the storm but instead calms us in the midst of it allowing us to walk in and grow in faith.
Sometimes He calls us home.
In all of these He is equally faithful.
In all of these He is equally merciful.
In all of these He is equally loving.
In all of these He is equally God.

Jesus said "I have come that you may have LIFE and that more abundantly. Dying early is not Gods will. I know because of the verse above.

Your mother is still with you because its Gods will that she be healed. Simple enough. Aint He wonderful?!!

In my family we do not allow sickness or disease and we are learning to call the shots in all other areas too. Health, finances, spiritual.... every area of human life is our choice of how it is lived.
We are the head not the tail. So my family and I will wag the dog. Not the other way around.

All the promises of God come by faith as the condition. We must believe God for the promise and believe that when we have asked that we have already recieved it even before we see it.

We cannot be double minded in what we ask.

Now this can be hard and sometimes we fail and we are doubtful even though we dont want to be, sometimes we are doubleminded even though our desire is to please God by faith but thoughts and " what if's" creep in.

God knows our frame. He knows that we will not always overcome but we need to get back up and keep trying to walk in faith. Keep filling our hearts and minds with the truth and promises of Gods word so that we will fair better next time.

But if we get discouraged and blame God, or let it crush us then we will fall into total unbelief.

Ya know in the bible we see saints fail in faith but they get back up and when they do get back up their doubt is not accounted again of them.

Like abraham who tried to produce the promised seed by his own effort- it didnt work and then he had a son of bondage on his hands who hated his real wife and the son of promise.

Pro 24:16 For a just [man] falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

I'm putting a hypothetical situation forward, I see so many Christians hurting because loved ones die early. I know the reasons myself I want others to learn too

1 Corinthians Chapter 11 lists exactly ONE REASON why Christians become weak, sick and die rpematurely. It is one incredible chapter where Paul gives those Corinthians a tongue lashing for making a mockery of the Lord's Supper and we are told what that ONE REASON is. And it has everything to do with what Jesus accomplished at the Cross and I'm not talking about the forgiveness of sins either. The church has unfortunately blown it in this area and churches in Asia are just running wild with this biblical truth and are getting a lot of Christians healed. The Prayer of faith can be challenging for many Christians but God is so gracious that He's provided another means of getting healed that takes the pressure off to believe you receive your healing now. I love Jesus. Everything He tells us to do has a blessing attached to it.

Every time you ask God for something that lines up with His will His answer is Yeah!! Amen!!

1 Corinthians Chapter 11 lists exactly ONE REASON why Christians become weak, sick and die rpematurely. It is one incredible chapter where Paul gives those Corinthians a tongue lashing for making a mockery of the Lord's Supper and we are told what that ONE REASON is. And it has everything to do with what Jesus accomplished at the Cross and I'm not talking about the forgiveness of sins either. The church has unfortunately blown it in this area and churches in Asia are just running wild with this biblical truth and are getting a lot of Christians healed. The Prayer of faith can be challenging for many Christians but God is so gracious that He's provided another means of getting healed that takes the pressure off to believe you receive your healing now. I love Jesus. Everything He tells us to do has a blessing attached to it.

Without this understanding it is impossible to live and walk by faith because you will not be able to stand on Gods promises as absolute you will always have the ' what if" and it will destroy faith. This is what abrahamand sarah knew:

1 Corinthians Chapter 11 lists exactly ONE REASON why Christians become weak, sick and die rpematurely. It is one incredible chapter where Paul gives those Corinthians a tongue lashing for making a mockery of the Lord's Supper and we are told what that ONE REASON is. And it has everything to do with what Jesus accomplished at the Cross and I'm not talking about the forgiveness of sins either. The church has unfortunately blown it in this area and churches in Asia are just running wild with this biblical truth and are getting a lot of Christians healed. The Prayer of faith can be challenging for many Christians but God is so gracious that He's provided another means of getting healed that takes the pressure off to believe you receive your healing now. I love Jesus. Everything He tells us to do has a blessing attached to it.

For example; healing...Well gee!! If its Gods will Oscar will be healed...

What does the Word say? By Jesus stripes we WERE healed. Is it Gods will that Oscar be healed? What does the Word say? YES!

Finances... If its Gods will we can get this debt paid...
What does the Word say..? I would that you PROSPER
My God shall supply ALL your need...

Is it Gods will that you Prosper? YES.

The church has blown it by calling Gods Word something other than Gods Word. They prefer to believe lies rather than the truth.

We are a covenant people who do not know our Covenant. We are destroyed because we do not know our covenant, nor do we even understand the concept...

I knew a woman once who was hit on the head with a pack saddle. She and her hubby were fighting while unloading their equipment Hubby was tossing the stuff from the front to the back end and the woman was taking it from there and putting it to the side. Well in his anger he tossed the saddle too hard and in her anger she was not paying attention, and walked right into it.
She was seriously hurt and wound up very disabled. I mean she went from a lovely lady to a drooling hag in no time at all.

She was prayed over many times to be healed but NEVER got that healing. A year later, it was learned that she did not want healing. She wanted to punish her hubby by making him care for her the rest of their lives.
Not a lack of faith. Not a lack of knowledge So you see, we are dealing with humans here, humans that are being interfered with by demons.

The devil has robbed the church of all the benefits that come from the Lord's Supper and its been turned into a ritual when its the substance of what the first Passover was just a shadow of. You can receive Jesus' perfect health and wholeness by taking Communion in faith. Don't be at all surprised why Paul ripped those Corinthians to pieces over how they treated the Lord's Supper and made it party time. The Holy Spirit was not kidding when He said that Jesus was the last Adam. We got into this whole big mess by eating from the wrong tree, at least the first Adam did. By eating from the right tree, we can reverse all the damage cuased by eating from the wrong one. There's a great study out there on Communion. It is not a ritual folks. Taken in faith, you will receive your healing and drive out everything dead and damaged in your body. I'm a believer in it! I practice it. There's more than one way to receive your healing brothers and sisters. :shade: Praise the name of Jesus! He really did so much at the Cross.
