True, i wouldn't say many times, i think it was 5 times in the NT, but if you were to add up the number of times Christ talks of Riches, justice and Compassion for those in need, or if you look at the teaching of the prophets in the OT on the same subject, then perhaps you would come to some understanding of Gods priorities,...... ?,

Salvation is of "grace" through "faith". (Eph 2:8) It has nothing to do with any actions a person does, Even if a person lays down his own life to be burned, and does not "have Love" (God is love) it does absolutely no good!

So tell me your take on Matthew 25 vs 31-46, how did Christ depict the "day of Judgement", who would be saved and who condemned, and how did Christ come to that decision, it seems to me that our Love of God is shown through the Love we show to others, particularly those in need, in fact the whole "Sermon on the Mount" was the blueprint for the Christian life, and would make me feel that our actions are an integral part of our salvation, perhaps in some cases the most important part of our salvation, Matthew 16 vs 27

I've got to disagree with you there Brother Paul, in my life i've known 6 openly Gay men, including my son, and i hope you'll believe me when i tell you that none of them chose thatb life, two died because of it, one was murdered, one died from AIDS, two others had spells in prison because of it, i read that suicide rates amongst Transgender and Gay youngsters are 3 times more than their Heterosexual counterparts, they face discrimination Hate and abuse on a daily basis and many seek to hide of surpress their homosexuality because of it, and as i've said current medical opinion is firmly of the view that people are in the main born homosexual, to them its perfectly natural, there really is no debate on the issue, except perhaps in certain religious circles where its sometimes deemed a "Lifestyle Choice", but who would choose that Lifestyle, seems to me that only Masochists or those with severe mental issues would do so, and some of the comments on these boards only re-enforce that opinion.

Tough to go through and witness my friend, but the bottom line is, though we are born into sin, we are not born gay. The devil tempts us to do things which are sin, with each person he chooses a different way subject to their weakness, we all have weaknesses and the devil known them.

We are influenced daily by these sins, men and women. Life and experiences play a part, you are so right we must love the sinner and hate the sin, but at the same time help the sinner to know the truth.

The wages of sin is death, LGBTQ sexual actions one to another are sins.

Luke 6:20 is the beginning of the Beatitudes. Luke 16 is what you're looking for -- vs 16 - 31.

Looking at that passage, we're not told why lazarus went to heaven. We Are told of the misery that the rich man felt in Hades.

In That particular case, the rich man loved his money and ignored the man Lazarus who laid at his gate.

Obviously only God knew the inner heart of Lazarus and the life style of the rich man told it's own story to the observer.

The point being that once the rich man realized his eternal fate, it was too late for him. He begged for mercy -- someone to quench his tongue. Begged that someone would go warn His brothers of what fate waited for Them. But he was told that everyone had the same prophets and Moses to hear the same words that he had heard. They are responsible for their own choices just like the rich man had been. And eventually in world history , there Would be a risen Savior. Have 'we' believed / accepted the risen Savior? some Do and some Don't.

@Rad -- everyone is born with a tendency towards evil. Satan knows our individual human weaknesses and he 'goes for it' with each of us. So -- what does a person do With those inner feelings? Back in the days when people believed God's Word / followed it -- homosexuality was dealt with in a variety of ways. It was acknowledged to be Not natural. Back in the Old Testament 'social deviants' were dealt with in a way that we Nowdays would call savage and non-loving,

God's Word is really the only answer. When a person is lovingly guided To Scripture and To salvation - if the person isn't already a born-again believer -- the Holy Spirit can /will speak to that person. Unfortunately -- there Are those who are 'sold out' To their homosexual life-style. They are not interested in anything else. But the more Biblical approach would be to sit down with the person involved with it. Talk with them -- Why are they in that life-style? Be a Listener. And there are probably some situations they experienced that led them To that way of life. Assure them of God's unconditional love for them. Of Jesus Christ' dying for Them and rising again for Them. That even though Society is okay with same-sex relationships that the God who loves them does Not approve of same-sex intimacy. They want to Please God. So -- be celebate -- God's Word says No sex Before marriage and that marriage is for only one man and one woman. So -- that means that no single people should be involved physically intimate relationships with Anyone. And that 'just because everyone else is 'doing it' does Not mean it's okay."

Supposedly there is a homosexual gene in some people. It has never been found. Medical science is simply trying to find some answer to sooth people, when, in actuality , it's something that Does need to be dealt with on an individual basis.
And I'm sorry that you've had such close, personal knowledge of it.

And when people look back and say that they felt different way back then they were Tiny. How would kids Know that. Unless they heard parents or babysitters comment. maybe the child heard an adult say that little Johnny or Mary looks Just Like 'Aunt or Uncle' and look how They're acting. I'll bet that They turn out exactly the same. The parent / care-giver need to be guiding children in their play time. Some kids / Teens especially need guidance going through those changing years.


And, a person does need to acknowledge their needs to God -- that they realize they Are sinner and acknowledge that Jesus Christ did die on the cross for Their personal sins. And that He rose again on the 3rd day. And not just a head acknowledgment, but a Heart acknowledgment / acceptance. And that Nothing we do, on our own, will help us be more acceptable to God. It's Jesus Christ - his shed blood -- that cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Thank Him for His gift of salvation. Tell Him that you realize your personal need For the gift.

The question is whether or not a person is born "gay" . Meaning that a person is attracted to someone of the same sex and acts on it in a sexual way. No matter how a person is born the person has choices to make. God's Word says that sexual intimacy is to be saved until marriage and marriage is to be with a man and a woman. And there are lots of ways to show love. Sexual intimacy doesn't need to be included.

Many do not understand the fall in The Garden of Eden. we all became sinners. So yes we all are born Sinners, and what do sinners do, they sin. we are born sinners, Some have not arms some have no teeth and hair, some have no legs, some cannot think right. some walk with a limp, some are bow Legged , some are over sexed, some 'hormones are out of wack and unbalance. Sin entered the world. but many christians are what we called "Pelagian" Some are "Semi- Pelagian" and some are "Arminians" then other are what many call "Calvinists".

Then if any believes in :The Concept of Original SIN" and spent much time in the study from a reliable Source and with much debate, then we know why Jesus came to a sin sick world and every one needs Jesus to save them from our own sins and from from The inheritance pass down from Adam and Eve the curse of Old age the curse of all our sickness and sins. Then I knew why, I had a desirer for Other women who were not my wife I inherit demons and did not know it

It is demons that causes us to sin and we do not know it. From Adam and EVE and now Humanity produces People that house DEMONS! and we refuse to believe "The TRUTH" and choose to live in denial and refuse to except the truth who we really are and what happen In The GARDEN OF EDEN, Because of PRIDE" that reigns in us which we inherit from our father the devil and the works of that father we will do, straight out of our mothers womb.
And the only way to escape is by The Blood of The Savior it is The Only Way, so let us Pray to our Father to set our Children Free. Who are trap in "The BONDAGES of SIN" not by choice but by Birth!

No one cares for our children but us. if we do not pray for them and love them no one will. and they die alone.
