When I first started posting about living without sin, folks were quite resistant.
But of late, several have started to manifest agreement.
I don't recall any specifics regarding your reaction to my earlier posts so don't consider this any sort of accusation.
I pray that the Lord will continue to shed His grace on your efforts to remain free from sin, in Jesus' name..
I believe that God intends for us to strive always to live without sin. Can we do it? Not alone, but...
"And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible." Mark 10:27
For me or you in our flesh without God it is indeed impossible, but who is to be in us?
"To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is
Christ in you, the hope of glory" Col 1:27
Is it not the work of the Holy Ghost in us to clean the garbage out so that it can replaced in every part of us with good? What happens is we don't allow it is seen here:
Mat 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Mat 12:44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
Mat 12:45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
When a person repent the cleansing begins, but if the old corruption is not replaced with the new and incorruptible then we could expect to see the seven more wicked spirits taken in...
"He must increase, but I must decrease." John 3:30
To say that it is impossible for a man to live without sin, even a Holy Ghost filled man, is, I believe, to call Jesus a liar.
Jesus did not come for nothing and the Holy Ghost was not sent to us for nothing.
