"Then shall I know even as also I am known" (1 Cor 13:12). Not only will you be known by Jesus, but you will also be recognized by those who knew you on earth. You will have those features in Heaven that characterized you on earth. If two people looked similar on earth (twins, for example), they will look similar in Heaven.

Hello, we have resurrection bodies so I dont think it matters if you are other of the twins now but instead Bible tells us to know other not after the the flesh but rather have unity of the Spirit (Eph 4:3)

Paul says that in this verse (which is good to read in context, because its not that simple):
2Co 5:16
(16) Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

And about the resurrection body read: 1Co 15:34- (and on from that in the same chapter.)

I hope this is helpful for your study.

God bless!

Thank you for your response. But unity in the Spirit is not the same as your appearance in Heaven.. This topic I brought here to comfort the hearts of others knowing that when you get to Heaven you will be able to recognize your loved ones.. That was all.. But thanks again for your response

Well, your message seems right, that we will recognize each other in heaven. As in heaven we will be of the spirit and not of the flesh, however, I'm not sure that you can draw a parallel from what you do look like to what you will, even assuming that you will 'look' at all in any recognizable sense of the word.

Dear Brother,

It is very much true indeed. I didn't expect the post to be so short and simple. The fact is, life after death is even more real when compared to the life we have on earth. Everything will be crystal clear, and everything secret will be exposed.

God bless you.

Scripture reference please?

And yet some answers are so simple
