in context what is being laid out Ray is talking about the glorified body we receive in Christ, what you say is also true but is not what he is talking about. What I understand him saying is at what point does one receive there glorified bodies, correct me if I am wrong @B-A-C

I think with the scripture given it is safe to say at the end when Jesus returns,, but most importantly we also have to look at "who" gets the glorified body first, because Jesus returns there will be people that are still alive and of course people that are dead. , I take that to mean they are getting there glorified bodies first, before those who remain alive.

This seems fairly simple from the Bible verses already quoted. In the Gospel According to John, Jesus calls it the last day. In the first letter to the Thessalonians, Paul says the dead will rise from their graves at the trumpet blast of the coming of Jesus Christ in glory. 1 Corinthians bridges the two in the talk of the 'last trumpet'

I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. I'm sure I've said this half a dozen times already on TalkJesus. Paul is here working with the image of a victorious king returning to his city. In Roman times, the people of the city would come out, greet the king and join the procession back to his throne.

Paul brings in the element of the cloud, which symbolise the glory and the presence of the Lord. We rise to meet Jesus as he comes in glory and accompany him to his rightful throne.

You can debate If this is a literal description or an attempt to describe the indescribable. Whichever, it doesn't give much support to rapture theories.

Its not a complicated idea. Last has a specific and obvious meaning as does day. But it is rarely used in Scripture in fact fully 1/2 times 'last day' appears in the entire Bible are found in John 6.

The Biblical word that Jesus spoke is "Born From ABOVE" not "born again" two completely ideas. That carry's two completely thought patterns, No one can be born again on this earth, he cannot go back in their mothers womb. But They can Become a "New CREATURE" and Be "Born OF HEAVEN" "Born of GOD" and not from his Mama. But from another world.

I believe the Biblical Text of "Holy Scripture" teaches that When Jesus returns not to earth the ground, but In the SKY above The Earth. At the sound of a Trumpet, will Blow, and what that is, i do not know, But when it Blows, The Dead will Hear it and Get up! And i believe those who belongs to Him will Change and put on "immortality" and meet Him in the AIR... and take us back to where he is [was], the place that He prepared for "us" "The Adopted Sons of GOD", and we will sit down at "The Coronation Table" and "The Ceremony Dinner" will take place. And maybe "The BEMA Seat" and "The Ceremony Speech" just might take place, "that period shall be Revealed when all Heaven got quiet. And GOD The FATHER will present HIS SON in whom HE LOVE, HIS GIFT, that HE GOD The FATHER planned to Create for HIS SON before "THE FOUNDATIONS of The WORLD" Created IN "CHRIST JESUS"!


And GOD the Father will give us The Speech, of what it is all been about AND of That which is to COME! And will Be Dinning with The Father and The SON, And Drinking that wine anew that JESUS promise that we would do. "The LORD's SUPPER". The bible does not lie or get it wrong. Men do. They will steer you away from "GOD" so you will follow their teachings and make you think, that you need them.
