church hopping

I attend many churches. But belong to the one and only curch of Christ which is within. I was attending the church of the Nazarene, then I was excomunicated. for reasons they decided to make up. They all come to this conclusion that I believe differently than they do. I grew up raised in the Baptist church and Baptist school. So now I attend many churches. Some I haven't vistied recently due to transpertation. Now I attend Calvary Chapel, sometimes(but not for a while) the roman Catholic church, Assemblies of God, Orthodox Prebeterian;(they excommunicated me too) They said I believe differently than they do .Well ok ,so I don't believe in Calvin and only 144,000 people go to heaven. So what else. I currently attend Presbaterian church on Sun mornings at 10am and 11am go to the next block sometimes to the Methodist church. I used to go to a epscaple church on Thurs. for a bible study but that got canceled, they can't keep a preist or something like that. Which I really enjoyed the bible study. Then on Sun mornings. From the RCC from 8am to the non- denomational(faith bible church) at 9am. But they excommunicated me to. Because I quoted a bible verse against what they were teaching. I also went to another Methodist church which keeps inviting me back. On Sun. nights because some of the local churches that were left didn't have a Sun night service. And I hop there or there to other churches I want to visit. I listen to a couple of sermons on line on one of them whom excommunicated me. Oh and sometimes on Sat. I visit the 7th day adventist church. I can't really tell you if these people are actually Chirstain or not. But its an interesting Adventure ...and I have met some fine people and not so fine people in all these churches. I love going to church.

Now I attend Calvary Chapel, sometimes(but not for a while)

mother3,
I too belong to a Calvary Chapel, which one did you attend?

We are here in Idaho, and Love our church!

With the line upon line teaching God speaks loud, and clear at every Service.
God knew that, and closed a couple doors to get us here.
We have never regretted it since.

Sorry, maybe there should of been a period there. "Now I attend Calvary Chapel. Sometimes (but not for a while) ...-then I go into a list.- The RCC, Assembles.." ect. And to Answer your question. I am from NJ. I have been attending this church off and on for about 3 or so years if I do recall correctly. I started attending this church when I was attending the Nazarene church. Who the Nazarne church excommmunicated me. Not on the basis as to why one would usually excommunicate someone. It didn't matter they had to make up a reason anyway. Just because a few didn't like me. And I wasn't in perfect agreement with everything they said. And I questioned them. So back to your question. In my expereinces I would have to say, " All denomaitoons are not the same. Like all Calvary Chapels are not the same. I believe it all depends on what the leader of the church preaches and repesents. Rather one choses a denomination or non - denomination. I found in several Non - denomiational churches that they are really donminated by the leaders beliefs. What it all comes down to. Is what the leaders motive is, for himself or under God. Do they yield to man or to God what spiritual effect does he have on the community. I listen to the local sermons on the radio. By Calvary Chapel. And I say there are approxamately 10 of them I listen to. I few of them I like and aren't so perfect. A couple has definately got to find another job. Or repent. Some Is heathly for the surrounding people and some aren't. And another just cracks me up and I don't think it matters. (Not a motive for being a pastor, but he still makes me laugh) And they are all leaders behind the pulpit. I don't think I could recognize them as the chosen of God. I listen to Pastors all the time. I love listening to sermons rather I am challenged by them because they are just so off track, which I will reject. And I myself write off of false sermnos just as well as what is true. Yes, many mislead a people. Telling them they shouldn't go to another church. Because if your not .Your not standing in the word or firm foundation. This is not true. Some do that so you don't hear something different that might contradict them. And you only listen to "their" beliefs. And for financail security and popular support. A true Pastor teaches one to listen for truth, build in knowledge to discern. And directs one to the path of the Christ to the Father. Some Pastors want you to approve of everything they say, or get out. And some just won't stop at that. (I have encountered some pastors where they will just seek to destroy you to protect thier own reputation) Some Pastors can contain the wheat and tares in thier very own soul. I am sure their are some tares in me. But all I can do is talk of what my expereince is. So remember, belonging to a church with the same title on it .Doesn't mean that that denomintion has the same title on all their hearts by God. What I can say, about going to these churches. Is that in every denomination I have met some beatiful people not looked at by outward appearnces. And I have met some people in the same congregations that just blows me away what they represent. And I don't judge a society by the Pastor. Because there are many different people in the congregation. And yes, we are to judge our pastors. And yes they themsleves are judges. And some are false and some are true. This doesn't mean they are perfect in every way. There are many wolves in sheeps clothing. Remember standing in the word is listneing for the truths of God.
John 4:24 God is Spirit, let us worship Him in Spirit and truth. for the Father is looking for such to worship Him.
Don't let your Worship be on Sun. morning. But within you all the time. Rather in seeking Him, repenting; in lack of understnading, being in his presense within, in sorrows and in joy, in confusion, soundeness of mind, and even in the state for some if you just don't know what to believe. Pray...

I attend and am active at a Baptist Church. I enjoy visiting other churches, especially Assembly of God and non-denominational. I worship God passionately; Baptists are getting better at that, at least they are at my church.

I attend a Full Gospel church!Five Fold Ministry:1/Jesus saves2/Jesus heals3/Jesus delivers4/Jesus baptizes with the Holy Ghost5/Jesus prospers!Its an on fire church!Love it!

I recently started attending a church. It's a small church, called The Open Bible. They are very friendly and I feel "fed" when I walk out. I did not attend church for a long time because I was afraid of being steered the wrong way and wanted to read more in the Bible first. I'm glad I waited.

For one to truely confess Jesus is Lord would have to identify him by what he spoke, because what he spoke is who he is. If someone denies the true teachings of Jesus for what they are and do not keep the coommandments. Does not confess that Jesus is Lord. If someone only accpets the teachings of say like a false minister. and goes around claiming Jesus is Lord. Thier spirit is not actually claming Jesus is Lord but the Lord of the message they follow. Jesus said," not everyone who says to me Lord Lord will enter. " But only those who hear his voice. His voice is Gods divine word of truth that sanctifies.

pentencostal here in finland. there seems to be quite different pentencostal churches (this finnish is different from what ive heard some USA churches are).
