What people dont understand about Martin Luther, at least many catholics, he was right on many arguements he nailed on the church doors. What many protestants are not taught, he never ment for the church to split, and he himself was a priest. So at least for what the catholic church was really all about ( the heart of the church ) is also something he believed in.
But scripture does teach Protestants to split from the Catholic Church, regardless of not being taught by Luther or any one else.

Turning communion into a "holy communion" by doing it in more than in remembrance of Him, by believing His Presence is in the bread and the wine thus committing idolatry, 1 Corinthians 10:14-23 Certainly making the blood of the Covenant to be on par with the blood of goats & bulls that it bears repeating by making His one time sacrifice for sins "present" again to receive again is no different than sacrificing Him all over again on the cross although the Catholics deny that latter conclusion to that misapplication, but they are still His for why God will have vengeance on His people for doing that.
