Who should Christians fear?

No,I am not him/that person-this is my first time here.

Thank you. It is my hope that you enjoy your stay.

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Perfect love does cast out fear but so does deception. The one who is deceived does not fear God when in fact they should be. Atheists do not fear him, they have been deceived into believing he does not exist. Many who do not obey him do not fear him as they believe that he paid for all their sin, yet the scripture says Christians have boldness (antonym cowardice or fear) in the day of judgement because they walk as Jesus walked. He wasn't disobedient.

The fear of God is healthy preventative medicine for those who take it. It causes immediate departing from evil.

May the whole world be brought to Fear the Lord, else perish.

Gentile
H1471
גּי גּוי
gôy gôy
go'ee, go'-ee
Apparently from the same root as H1465 (in the sense of massing); a foreign nation; hence a Gentile; also (figuratively) a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts: - Gentile, heathen, nation, people.

A foreign nation in the OT was any people apart from Israel. A gentile therefore was considered apart from God and "heathen".

Heathen
G1482
ἐθνικός
ethnikos
eth-nee-kos'
From G1484; national (“ethnic”), that is, (specifically) a Gentile: - heathen (man).

A non Israelite/Jew in the NT was also defined as a Greek.

Gal_3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Greek
G1672
Ἕλλην
Hellēn
hel'-lane
From G1671; a Hellen (Grecian) or inhabitant of Hellas; by extension a Greek speaking person, especially a non-Jew: - Gentile, Greek.

Did you read the definition of Gentile? ''Gentile, heathen, nation, people.'' - It is not limited to a ''foreign nation''

In The Webster's 1828 Dictionary,Gentile is defined or at least one of the meanings is ''the denomination was given to all nations who were not Romans.

That would make Jesus and the apostles gentiles as they were not Roman citizens but Paul would not be a gentile as he was a roman citizen(Acts 22:25)

As for Galatians 3:28

Jew,in that passage means
2453. Ioudaios ee-oo-dah'-yos from 2448 (in the sense of 2455 as a country); Judaean, i.e. belonging to Jehudah:--Jew(-ess), of Judaea.

Judaean(which is a geographic address) belonging to Jehudah(Tribe)

Example...

Matthew 19:1:And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;

Like a few others have said, it's more along the line as respect. Not just respect like we respect each other, but respect as in we know that God is our all powerful Lord and deserves our respect. The respect for others and the respect for God, feel different to me. Two different types.

Who SHOULD we fear/respect? God.
