Hello Judge not.We know in scripture God the Father was never seen or heard
in the OT only the Son who was the spokesperson for God the Father.
In the New Testament, the Father is observed and known.
John 14:7
If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him,
and have seen Him.
The Father has been observed by humanity and this is recorded by John.
Anyone who observed the Christ has observed the Father.
Anyone who knew the Son also directly knew the Father.
John 14:9
Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip?
He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
Again Jesus drives home the eternal truth that Jesus is the Father. Philip saw Jesus and Jesus
tells Philip that when Philip is looking at Jesus, Philip is looking at the Father. Philip cannot say
'Show us the Father' for the Father has already appeared as Jesus. Jesus is the Father in human
form. To know Jesus is to know the Father, to see Jesus is to see the Father. There is no separation
in the text between Jesus and the Father for they are one.
They also have exactly the same name and will be addresses by that same name.
John 17
Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be
one even as We are.
The Father's name is the same name that is used to address the Son.
Jesus states that He and the Father are one!
