Take heart and have HOPE!
I have learned early on the more you search for something, the harder it will be to find. It is all in God's timing and not our own. We all want to have a loving family and a happy life, but we must wait on God and what He has planned for us.
"Wait for the Lord; Be strong, and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord." Psalm 27:14
I myself have learned that before I enjoy my life with my future husband, I must learn to be happy alone and see the benefits and joys that God has in store for me. I have learned alot, and I am sure I still have more to learn before I get married. I know that I can't force God's hand by fasting, and praying for my future husband. I only can have faith that the time is not right for marriage and children, because God has something special planned for me, as He does for you.
Remember Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord " Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11
It is the hope I have regardless on what I go through that I have the promise of God. I have a wood plaque in my bathroom that I read every morning as I get ready for work. It is to remind me that regardless on what my day is or how my life is going, God has His eye upon me and has wonderous plans for my future. I also remind myself that not all these plans are known to me, as my understanding is not the understanding of God, so I must be patient and have faith.
I know it is not always easy, but we must be patience, even though patience is hard. Regardless hardship might come, always remember this scripture (Romans 5:3-5), as it has always helped me see the hope in all hardship I might face and have faced.
"3And not only
that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." Romans 5:3-5
It is so true, tribulation produces perseverance (patience) and hope to what is to come from the Lord. It is always hard to bear trials and tribulations, but God wants us to learn, be tried by the fire, refined and ready for the plans He has in store. So have hope and be brave, for the Lord DOES see your heartache and HEARS your pleas. He will only move when it is time, and not before.
God bless
