Hi Mendy,

You may have a lot of questions, doubts, fear of growing old alone & more in your heart right now, but just always remember that God is always here for us. We may not feel it at times, but be confident that He can see & hear you.

Like what the other has already told you, He is just preparing you. He is also preparing your prince! Your age is not as old as it looks. I'm 25. Been broken hearted before, and I'm still single. But I'm happy. I know that one day, I may feel the same depression or doubt that you are feeling right now, but I also know that Jesus, will keep on reassuring me that His timing is much perfect than mine.

If God really wanted you to get marry, He will definitely give you the perfect guy in His perfect time. Like what you have said, other people (specially those who don't have Jesus in their lives) were able to get marry & find their perfect partner. What more of you who has Jesus as your Savior and master? He will definitely reserve someone perfectly matched for you. So don't feel bad. Smile. Keep on trusting Jesus. He loves you, and He wanted you to be happy.

So how does this loving father of yours handle miscreant children who, using their free will, refuse to heed his sage advice and thus do bad things like murder, rape, assault, cheat on spouses, etc.?

Wow im so sorry i have been away from here for so long. A loving father raises the awareness of children in many ways. Too many to mention here. Love is the greatest educator there is. There is no one way to teach children but many many.
SOme will be more effective than others depending on the child and depending on the parent. But as long as love is at the core of what we choose to do. as long as love is our guide, and as long as God is our Guide (for GOd is love) then success is assured.

Anything else is futile and apparent success is not long lived. To some extent our burgeouning prisons are testament to that.

Mendy just one other thought i wouold like to share. Be aware of what u are drawing into your life. As you (or anyone) dwell on what is missing in our lives often that is what we are drawing into our lives.
IF we pray that we want a husband then that is what will manifest ie the want of a husband!
Focus instead on ur feelings of what this ideal partner will bring for you.
Let ur prayer be based on the joy and peace that will eminate from this relationship. Hope this helps

I think this can sometimes be a really good question to ask ourselves -

'If God gave me the deepest desires of my heart, tomorrow - would I still put him first in my life'.

I think that can be really helpful at times to check against our hearts, because we can have idols in our lives without even realising it, and sometimes that idol can be marriage, or success or financial prosperity, freedom from a bad situation etc.

I know I've had to pray through that question with God at times because it was very real.
