Why do Christian’s think Jesus is coming back for a wife and He sure ain’t going to marry a Masculine figure

I ask you a question. Making fun of who? And who is laughing?

now for your information I am asking two more questions in this dialogue. S’Il vous plait.
nevermind i messaged you about the lgbtq community

So are you a sinner or are you saved? You can't be both
I know you can read but comprehension seems to eluded you sometimes when a statement is made plainly. Reread the post 37, and chew it like meat before you swallow and then it will not choke you. And if not satisfied, spend about “8, 765.82” hours on The biblical doctrine concerning the doctrine of salvation. And some time on The “Indicative” Hope. If you can find the time. Patience is something else and discipline is another factor.

You sure use a lot of words to say little.....And you cannot be saved and be a sinner...so....Which are you? Saved or sinner?

You are so bold you think and arrogant that you think I am so low that you do not consider my statement and I am supposed to bow down to you. I know you are “Missing the Mark”.” And what is so cruel you do not know what the foggiest idea what I am talking about. But still you are trying to divert which is only costing pain. And since I do not want to cause you no more un-recognizing pain. I will back down that you may a have a more sense of comfort and I will cease the strain.

Then what about the marriage supper of the Lamb. The universal church is all born again believers from all of time. Also called the Bride of Christ. The marriage supper of the Lamb is going to take place during the 7yr period of tribulation down here on earth. Believers won't be here on earth during that time.
Hello @Sue D.

With respect, I do not believe that God mixes His metaphors, The term 'The Church which is His (Christ's) Body' (Ephesians 1:22-23) refers to a specific company: distinct from those who looked for, 'a better country', for whom 'God has prepared from them a city' (Hebrews 11:16 ( Hebrews 11:10) such as Abraham and those who looked for a 'better resurrection' in Hebrews 11. The differences between the two can be observed in those passages of Scripture which refer to them.

* Would you please explain your reason for referring to the marriage supper of the Lamb of Revelation 19? Which is referring to Israel, the then 'restored' WIFE.
* In Isaiah 54:4-6 the day of Israel's return to the Lord is likened to the day when they came up out of Egypt, which 'likeness' is often referred to when speaking of 'the end'. So Hosea 2:15-20 says, which I shall quote (in part):-

... ... ... as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD,'
that thou shalt call Me Ishi; (my Husband) ... ... ...
And I will betroth thee unto Me for ever;
yea, I will betroth thee unto Me
.. in righteousness, and
.... in judgment, and
...... in lovingkindness, and
........ in mercies. I will even betroth thee unto Me
.......... in faithfulness: ... ... '

Praise God! - For He will do it.

* This 'wife' ( gune ) who had been repudiated (Hosea 2:2) is said to be 'betrothed' upon her 'return', Isaiah 62:5 also uses this figure:- 'As a young man marrieth a virgin ... and as a bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.' In Isaiah 62 & 63, there is a close association made between the marriage of Israel and the wrath of God, in the same sequence as that of Revelation 19, showing that we have, in Revelation 19, the fulfillment of earlier prophecies of 'restoration'. This marriage will last for 1000 years at least.

* The Bride of chapter 21 is quite different: it is the Holy City (the dwellling place of those who comprise the company called 'the Bride' ( numphe )

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris
