Why does God send people to hell?

What you have said brings a quote to mind:
If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.” ― Charles Spurgeon

“But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Jesus

Matthew 7:6
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, least they trample them under their feet, and turn again and send you.

I am holy unto the Lord. Therefore my love is holy. Therefore as according to the commandment of Jesus I am not to give my love to the dogs and the swine. All my enemies are dogs and swine and if I give them my love they will just reject it and pollute it and dishonor it. And not only do I pray for them that persecute me but I also pray for my enemies.

Believe me when I say to you, you do not want me as an adversary because you will always lose.

What will I lose? Perhaps your presence on Talk Jesus?

That actually would make me sad, because it is actually possible that you might have a perspective to share that could help the Body of Christ. Without the attitude of course. Nobody likes mean/hateful people, who have no idea how to share the love of the Lord even when in disagreement.

Just remember that what Jesus said that I quoted to you, was not conditional upon another's acceptance. There is nothing wrong in correcting another, but the method by which you do so, does make a difference if you are seeking for them to learn. A child does not learn what you want them to learn if when every time they do something wrong, you beat them. Instead of Love, what they learn is to hate, anger, distrust. Temper your responses in a way that promotes growth and introspection on the others part. If they don't want to hear it from you, then wipe your hands clean and move on. Without the parting shots of course. :)

By the by: reread Matthew 7:6. "Pearls" do not equate to "Love" at most you could correlate it to the Kingdom of God.

1 John 4:19

Side note: You should reread the Terms and Rules again (link at the bottom of each page) if you haven't already. It would benefit you to remember the conditions by which you will be held to while on Talk Jesus. You can be faithful, but again, it doesn't mean that you need to be rude, and prideful in your responses to others. I know it works both ways, so it's not all on you and I am not blind to it.

Paul... Gone

Br. Bear.... Gone

You should be careful who you make angry.
You're a very very very small fish in a very very very big ocean. And if you don't like my behavior then I suggest you take it to the Lord because you're not untouchable.

I told both of those men that if they didn't stop doing the evil they were doing they would be punished and disappear, but they laughed and even did more evil and like I said they disappeared. If you got ears to hear so be it if you don't so be it, you reap what you sow. I have done no evil to you and if you ban me, well let's just say it's not going to go well for you in the spirit realm.

Like them if you think you can just run over anybody you want and do whatever you want to someone just because you believe you got the upper hand I give you my word as the Lord God is my witness you'll reap what you sow, if you ban me. Just like I did to them I will do to you.

So you pick which way this is going to go.
I'm ready

Actually, I seek to never make anyone angry. Angry people do not make for having conversations which promote growth in God's Word. Most times it's a hinderance to the person who gets angry.

Now on Paul, Br. Bear being gone. If you mean that they have died. Then they are where I want to be! Which is with my Lord and Savior Jesus, and those who have gone on before!!! \o/

What you perceive as having been threatening, is nothing at all to a believer. You are not God, for me to fear.

"Don't be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:38 NLT

I don't laugh that much now adays. Much sadness on how dark the world is getting. Though there is some humor in a sad sort of way to be found when someone who professes to know the Love of Christ but is unable to show any of it to those He died for. :(

I'll tell you again. If you get banned, it will be by your communications to me or others that will have it done. (Read the Terms and Rules, because by joining the site you agreed to them by your own hand and no other.)

I seek nor want evil to befall you here or anywhere else for that matter. You profess to abide in Him. Please start reflecting those characteristics that befits a servant of the Lord, and a Brother in Christ.

But no man can tame the tongue. [It is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. James 3:8-10 NKJV

Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:29-32 NKJV

Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again--rejoice! 5 Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. 6 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:4-7 NLT

I'll pray for you, His peace, joy, and that you may have dominion over your words, that do not promote the building up of others. In the name of Jesus I ask this. Amen

You can say whatever you like about my behavior and your rules and blah blah blah blah but make no mistake about it what you do to me shall be before the Lord and if it's not in accordance to his righteousness you will lose and you will pay for it no matter what whatsoever no exceptions. I have done no evil to you and I'm not going to do no evil to you and if you believe I'm rude and the Lord God don't agree with you then you're the one that's going to pay the price for it not me no matter what you say no matter what you believe or no matter what you think, so you better think twice about what you do to me.

And furthermore I have not done any evil or committed any sin to anyone or anything I have said on this forum. So you have no cause to bother me. But mark my words if you do you'll go the way of brother Paul and Br Bear.

Doing evil is not a condition of the Terms and Rules, that allow any staff member to act against a member or post they determine needs correction.
Like I have told you. I have no fear of you, but only God. However, I am sad for you. You use the power in who you believe is the Holy Spirit to cudgeled others in adhering to what you want.

You can continue this conversation with me via PM. You are being locked out of replying to this in this thread. We have derailed the thread enough. I'll give it a day and delete the offending posts.

It looks like many people believe Yahovah God is not a just god and sends people to Hell. Hell is a much misunderstood concept, but that is not for this thread. If there is justice in Eternity, then there must be punishment for crimes committed and it follows that obedient people will be blessed for following the commands Yehovah and Yashua have had recorded for us to live by. But God sends no one into the Lake of Fire (Eternal Torment). Yashua will be the Judge, being Perfect and a Just Judge, He will honor your choice and will not violate His Holy Instructions He has left for us to live by or to reject, and by doing so, choose to spend Eternity separated from Heaven and God. It is your choice!

The Bible says that God created hell for Satan and the wicked angels who rebelled against Him, but there are people in hell also (Matthew 25:41). Both angelic beings and human beings are in hell for the same reason, sin (Romans 6:23).

Because God is completely righteous and morally perfect (Psalm 18:30), He always does what is right—there is no “darkness” in God, not the smallest speck of imperfection (1 John 1:5). God Himself is the standard for what is right, good, and moral. If it were not for God being the standard of moral perfection, created beings would have nothing to measure themselves against. In other words, if God is perfectly righteous, then anything that falls short of said perfection is sinful, and every human being who has ever lived, since Adam’s fall from grace, has committed sin (Romans 3:23). Because Adam sinned, the entire human race now has a sinful nature (Romans 5:12). But people do not go to hell because of Adam’s sin; they go to hell because of their own sin, which they freely choose (James 1:13–16).

Since God is eternal, immutable, and infinite, and all sins are fundamentally against God, God has decreed the just punishment for sin must also be eternal (Matthew 25:46). There is another aspect to consider, which is that God also created people to live eternally. So when someone commits a sin against another person, the offended person has also been eternally wronged.

God, therefore, has deemed all who commit sin will go to hell because they have failed to meet His righteous standard; they have broken His Law of moral perfection. If God did not send people to hell for breaking His laws, it could be said that God is not just (Psalm 7:11). A good analogy is a court of law with a judge and a lawbreaker. A just judge will always convict the person who has been found guilty. If that judge did not pursue justice for the crime, he would not be a just judge (Deuteronomy 32:4).

However, the good news is that God is also merciful. In His rich mercy, He made a way for sinners to avoid the punishment of hell by trusting in the atoning work of His Son, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:9). For Christians, the penalty of sin has been removed and placed upon Christ on the cross (1 Peter 2:24). Because of the sacrifice of Christ, God is still just—the sin is punished—yet He is also merciful to all who believe.

Hi Bro Chad,
I am gathering from this scripture that hell comes at the End ... some believe that hell is already operable, and people are already in hell!?
If all passed people "sleep" until Jesus returns, this means that all the trillions of people who have lived on the earth will be alongside Jesus at the Great Judgement Day!? I used to believe in re-incarnation, and that there were not trillions of souls, but many sent back to learn more and grow in Christ. Sometimes it is really hard to take in that there are so many souls ...

He doesn’t always do what is right, he CREATED us!!!!

For me, this is a case of "follow the leader". Who are you following?

Matt 25:41; "Then He will also say to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;

Hell wasn't originally created for humans, but some humans will go there. Satan is going there, and some people are just blindly following him not knowing where the path ends. Or perhaps some of them do know.

Jesus is in heaven, Satan is going to hell ( the Lake of Fire ). Which destination do you want? Who are you following to get there?
I suppose one day people will ask, "How did I get here". The obvious answer will be, who were you following?
I have often wondered what incentives there are for satanists to follow their motive. If they believed in Christianity and the Lake of Fire, they would not be following darkness, surely?

There will be no party in any idea.
From inference:
Everyone who has died and those rejected God after the Final Judgment will know for certain, 100% God was real and the Bible 100% true.
Those in Hell will be denied God and any relief from thei sins. Imagine being unable to progress out of permanent depression and knowing all the truth of what one did.
It may not go into detail but the demons that were cast into the pigs wanted that instead of their final destination.
What comes after Jesus' reign for 1000 years ... is satan released, and all those with him, or is there another judgement?

And this could be another topic to delve into ... Yeshua is God, part of the Trinity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. It gets confusing when God is used for all Three, if I am understanding what you say, correctly?

Hell is the daily appointment, suffering the wage of sin . . dying.

In dying mankind comes to an end. The body that clothed the spirit returns to dust, clay , the temporal spirit given under the loving warning "do not eat" returns to the Father of all Holy Spirit life

Both the instrument of death the letter as it is written (thou shall not) and the suffering it caused Hell will both be tossed into the final judgment fire .

The death of death .

The letter will not rise up and again corrupt to death a whole creation

Revelation 20:14 And death and (or with) hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Yoked with Christ our daily burden of death can be lighter with a future hope beyond what the eyes see.

That is the freedom of choice, or free will ..
But, scripturally, our free will will end with our transitioning from the Temporal into the waiting place described and portrayed in the tale of the Rich Man and the Beggar after death. Yashuah emptied Paradise in Matt. 27, but I do not find the lost people revived/resurrected until the Great White Throne Judgment.

I find that the Intentional Sinner is still in Hell waiting for the Judgment and wailing for a single drop of water.

Better than 35 years of studying and about 33 years of teaching the Holy Word, and I have yet to find where Catholics and others get the idea that all Spirits return to Heaven.
