We do, we cast ourselves into that pit of fire, every time you go against the will of God. Every time that we sin, we basically tell God that we know what's right and he doesn't.And who casts the people who are on the train into the lake of fire?
Maybe both, but mostly to the POST of Mark of the Beasty : )Looking forward to sticking around?
Thank You Christ4Ever : )God alone has the authority to judge and cast the unrepentant into Hell as an act of perfect justice. People are not sent there by Satan, demons, or human authority—but by the righteous judgment of God.
Matthew 25:41 - "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
John 3:18 - "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Revelation 20:15 - And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
Won't you say it's less important the who, than it is by whose authority and why it happens?
With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Looking forward to the promised future post on "mark of the beast"Looking forward to sticking around?
When God chooses Christians to stay behind to help others (and this is so realistic), they will have faith, and rely on God's promises of protection and provision. It is my feeling that so many believe that the "mark of the beast" is the B All and the End All ... God is in Control, and he will Lead us.Let's talk about the challenge that's going to take place in our world. When we are confronted with taking the mark of the beast or not looks really talk about this because it's some serious stuff.
Think about it no one's even bothering to talk about it because we're so caught up with the Rapture stuff. I keep trying to ask people what are you going to do about the others, the guys that don't make it. I mean they're not terrible Christians but guess what not everybody's going. So what are we doing to prepare others who knows we may be preparing ourselves because just because you think that you're going to run off and Raptor doesn't mean that this is where God wants you. Maybe God wants you to stay behind and help out everybody else. Does anybody even consider this option, that maybe God doesn't really want you or me to go?
What then? What if you're the one that God chooses to stay behind, not because you deserve to be but because God has purpose for you. Now what are you going to do you can't buy yourself can't get a job you can't do anything. And what about the others that are left behind how are you going to reach out to them are you going to say it's okay for them to take the mark of the beast when you know darn well it's not. And if you do sit there and tell others to take the mark of the beast guess what you're in just as much deep due to as they are if not worse
I'm working on it. The post that I'm going to write about the mark of the beast.Looking forward to the promised future post on "mark of the beast"
May Jesus fill us with his love and wisdomScripture clearly states that God knows the end from the beginning, because God Himself is outside of time, time being only another of His many marvelous creations.
Scripture also clearly states that God knows the heart of every living soul, completely, thoroughly, without exception.
Scripture also states that God is perfectly merciful as well as perfectly just.
God does not send anyone to hell.
Hell was and is and has been the destination of every soul since sin entered into the world.
God in His infinite wisdom and perfect mercy and justice has provided an escape from hell through the reunification of our dead spirits with His living Holy Spirit. Through the substitutionary death of His only begotten Son.
Whether consciously or unconsciously, all men choose their own fate.
"Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but God ponders the hearts"
Proverbs 21:2
Peter denied Christ thrice, and went out and wept bitterly. And Christ Himself gave him the opportunity to thrice reaffirm his love.
"He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep."
John 21:17,18
Judas betrayed Christ once and even after recanting of his deed, went out and hung himself.
God alone is righteous.
God alone is just.
To imagine otherwise is the height of foolishness.
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."
Romans 8:28,29
Christ knows His sheep, and His sheep hear His voice.
Yah alone be praised!!!
Thanks for the kind words Brother Bill.May Jesus fill us with his love and wisdom
1) I really like how you wrote what you said in your post.
2) to be honest with you I think that the sin that Peter did by denying Jesus three times, was actually worse than the of Judas. The reason that I feel that, is that God the Father was the one who inspired Peter to understand that Jesus was the Messiah. Peter fully understood that Jesus was the Messiah whereas Judas didn't fully understand. Judas was trying to say to God that he knew the better route that Jesus should be lifted up in the eyes of the priests and therefore Judas betrayed Jesus by handing him over to the priests.
The big difference between the two is that Peter grieved and repented whereas Judas did not
Does He have any input into the creation of a person? And if He does, does He know before He creates the person what the eventual fate of the person will be?Scripture clearly states that God knows the end from the beginning...
What scripture says that?...because God Himself is outside of time, time being only another of His many marvelous creations.
Again, maybe not hell, but Revelation 20:15 says that anyone not found in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire. Who do you think will be doing the casting?God does not send anyone to hell.
Of what did the Son experience with this substitutionary death which would otherwise have to be experienced by us?God in His infinite wisdom and perfect mercy and justice has provided an escape from hell through the reunification of our dead spirits with His living Holy Spirit. Through the substitutionary death of His only begotten Son."
Do they know what the fate is that they are choosing?Whether consciously or unconsciously, all men choose their own fate.
May Jesus fill us with his love and wisdomThanks for the kind words Brother Bill.
I can relate to both of them, though I could not say which had the greater sin. I have far too much of my own to deal with.
I met Christ in 1990, was called to the ministry, and like Jonah I ran. Whereas Jonah spent three days in the belly of the big fish before calling out to God, I spent the better part of three decades.
In the last few years Father has reminded me of a great many lessons I learned when I was a new believer, and many others that I should have learned but failed to. And taught me many other new things as well, and it hasn't been easy.
Its really hard at times to put into words what the last three years has been like for me, I've never been so close to my Father, and yet never been more conscious of my shortcomings. My prayer life is sometimes so sublime it blows my mind, and yet still, the battle to maintain it is more intense than any conflict I've ever been a part of. While I've been delivered from most of the sins that plagued me during my rebellious days, I'm now much more sensitive to every little way my life displeases Him. But even on my worst days at my worst moments, I cannot run from His majestic love, nor do I desire to.
I weep bitter heartfelt tears over the damage that I've done, and simultaneously weep over the amazing grace He continues to pour out upon me without measure. I weep for the lost, and the lost sheep who are still wandering far from home.
I see the world for what it is, and more clearly than ever, and want no part of it. I see myself more clearly than ever and want no part of that either. I'm ready to go home but willing to stay as long as I can be useful, and I pray regularly to be useful, in any way that suits Him.
As you said in one of your other comments, it truly is all about love. His love for us, our love for Him, and how we allow His great love to flow through us into the lives of others.
I'll let the psalmist take it from here, I've said too much.
"Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.."

May Jesus fill us with his love and wisdomBill,
Any particular reason for quoting all of my questions to Brother Del and then only possibly replying to the first one?
So, you're saying that when you typed my questions to Del that you intend to address them, but before you got to them you decided to talk about something else first, and before you got back to them you accidentally hit the reply button? There is no ill will intended. Sorry if it bothered you.
May Jesus fill us with his love and wisdomBill,
Any particular reason for quoting all of my questions to Brother Del and then only possibly replying to the first one?
There's so much technical precision...I have several strong bloodlines. One line believes that Love Conquers All. They believed it was cut and dry...good or evil. They believe that there's good and evil and one would consume the other.I agree with most of this.
But just have two questions.
1. If sin gets you into fiery hell, why were some sinners in the OT before Jesus not in a fiery hell but rather in Abrahams Bosom per Luke 16:19-31
2. If being a Christian was as simple as believing in Jesus why does 1 Cor 12:3 say that nobody can of themselves believe Jesus is Lord?
I don't believe sin alone gets you into hell. A love of sin does John 3:19. Being sold out to it. Sin full measure. In the OT in Hades, there was a split between sinners who repented and sinners who did not.
We are given faith to believe Jesus is Lord, only when we repent of our sins. God judges our hearts and minds for sincerity Jer 17:9-12. Repentance is opening the door to Jesus Rev 3:20. God will never send to a fiery hell someone who truthfully repents of their sins Psalm 51:17.
I took years of Hebrew. I believe that the j and h in Hebrew are hard to translate. I believe that Hell is "Jail." EXTERNAL HATE. They teach not to forgive in jail if you ever get out, you're still living in hell because you rejected love. I believe he was saying don't kill anyone or you'll go to jail and your heart will be full of eternal hate. But Love Conquers All.Yehovah does not send people to Hell nor into the Lake of Fire. People choose not to live with/for God, thus choosing not to live with Him in Heaven. God, not being a bully awards them with their clear choice of gods.
All who go to hell are having the Father say to them" Your will is now getting done"The Bible says that God created hell for Satan and the wicked angels who rebelled against Him, but there are people in hell also (Matthew 25:41). Both angelic beings and human beings are in hell for the same reason, sin (Romans 6:23).
Because God is completely righteous and morally perfect (Psalm 18:30), He always does what is right—there is no “darkness” in God, not the smallest speck of imperfection (1 John 1:5). God Himself is the standard for what is right, good, and moral. If it were not for God being the standard of moral perfection, created beings would have nothing to measure themselves against. In other words, if God is perfectly righteous, then anything that falls short of said perfection is sinful, and every human being who has ever lived, since Adam’s fall from grace, has committed sin (Romans 3:23). Because Adam sinned, the entire human race now has a sinful nature (Romans 5:12). But people do not go to hell because of Adam’s sin; they go to hell because of their own sin, which they freely choose (James 1:13–16).
Since God is eternal, immutable, and infinite, and all sins are fundamentally against God, God has decreed the just punishment for sin must also be eternal (Matthew 25:46). There is another aspect to consider, which is that God also created people to live eternally. So when someone commits a sin against another person, the offended person has also been eternally wronged.
God, therefore, has deemed all who commit sin will go to hell because they have failed to meet His righteous standard; they have broken His Law of moral perfection. If God did not send people to hell for breaking His laws, it could be said that God is not just (Psalm 7:11). A good analogy is a court of law with a judge and a lawbreaker. A just judge will always convict the person who has been found guilty. If that judge did not pursue justice for the crime, he would not be a just judge (Deuteronomy 32:4).
However, the good news is that God is also merciful. In His rich mercy, He made a way for sinners to avoid the punishment of hell by trusting in the atoning work of His Son, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:9). For Christians, the penalty of sin has been removed and placed upon Christ on the cross (1 Peter 2:24). Because of the sacrifice of Christ, God is still just—the sin is punished—yet He is also merciful to all who believe.
