Why?

Thats because advancement of the human SPIRIT is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much more important than those things, so thats what God focus's on. The human condition (short of the Spirit) is all temporary and those things only add to human knowledge (which is already known to God and will be to us all in spirit some day) and in some sense, time saving devices. The equivalent would be prioritizing everyone doing only what makes us feel good, food and goods production would for the most part would end, and the human race would end due to a combination of starvation, fighting over dwindling stocks, decease from the massive unburied over the globe.
You shouldn't complain about the state of this world, when your God though capable of making a big difference doesn't.

I've been treated worse by Christian's, the one's who profess they have a spirit of real love.

Good morning CMD;
I dealt with a chap in a newsgroup who claimed to be doing every thing right while others about him were failing miserably. When all was said and done, they were carrying on and he seemed to have great difficulty keeping friends. This fellow has twice cursed me in the name of Jesus Christ as per Galatians 1:8 according to Paul's instructions as he claimed. I didn't understand the verse to mean that, but I will agree that those who continue to abide in a dishonest gospel will be accursed.

Christians aren't perfect. Like Moses breaking the tablets, some do slip up. As I've said earlier, it depends on whose will we prefer to follow. We cannot do things our way, which includes spreading the Gospel, and expect God to bless our efforts. Despite Jesus being God as well as a man, he spent a lot of time in prayer seeking guidance as well as giving thanks.

The following is taken from a morning reading.
"God's will for our lives is that we might live in His word. This allows us to grow in His grace that we might know Him better. This truth is to delight our hearts and change our lives. "Thus says the LORD: 'Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,' says the LORD" (Jeremiah 9:23-24). So many people (sometimes, even the people of God) chase after human wisdom, earthly power, or material riches. God desires that He becomes the delight of our hearts and the goal of our life: "that he understands and knows Me." So, let us respond with joy to Hosea's call. "Let us know, let us pursue the knowledge of [the knowing of] the LORD" (Hosea 6:3)."

There is a lot to be said for humility and a willingness to learn as a child trusting a parent.

Excuse me, what makes you think I haven't talked to your creator?
I have no doubt that you have if you say that you have... but have you heard what He is saying? His sheep do hear His voice. Perhaps you should consider what a sheep is to the Shepherd and then come to Him in that manner and listen.

I will pray that God open your heart to what He is saying and showing to you so that you can hear and see... and then obey!
Ultimately the important decisions for you are up to you.

What you would consider to be a "big difference" really is not what God considers a "big difference". You are looking for what you have decided is important, rather than asking God to provide you with what really is important.

The last Christian I encountered was when I was at a hotel with my bisexual friend, we were outside yapping about the state of human affairs and how religion poisons everything. Then this Christian started to agree with us, and quoted "Religion says do, Jesus says done" Then he pulled a somke from his cigarette packet and started to tell us how awesome Jesus was and all he did for him, bla bla bla.

Well, there should be a big difference in the activities & abilities of Christian's. If they really have these powers they claim Jesus gives them, there should be a noticeable difference about them. But there is no real difference, they die in the same manner, they fall victim to illness in the same manner, they suffer with the same issues in the same manner.

There's nothing that really separates them from the non believer other than what they believe, but those belief's have no noticeable effects.

Unfortunately that is true about many Christians BUT in the same time there are those who willingly are submitted unto God's Ways and RISE ABOVE other Christians and the world.
You will see more and more of them in these last days and those who live as the world lives full of its cares will also suffer right along side of them....but they that will Listen and Obey His Voice and live according to His Plan or system will Rise Above and not only See God big in their lives but others will see it too.

The super Christian. I thought I could be a super Christian, but alas I failed. A mustard seed is all it's supposed to take to be a super Christian, I'm sure I had that once. Does it take complete doubtlessness to take hold of the power of God? Who has absolutely no doubt?

There should be a big difference and you're right in that part as our brother @Wired 4 Fishen already told you. The difference of the real followers of Christ is noticeable to those with eyes to see who are paying attention. If you cannot see it, then you either you have not been around any or your own eyes have been blind. You want to sit at judgment on God and on true believers in Christ, but it does not work that way. If ever you were a true believer you would have known that. As one who has believed as you say that you have then you already know why you are blind. You alone can change it. You have blocked even God and will continue to block Him while you deny Him.

Good morning CMD;
I agree that Christianity by definition qualifies as religion. I don't need to know that your friend is bisexual unless you desire that we be aware of an attribute about your circle of friends. One can find bad examples in all facets of society. Those professing Christianity are no exception, and Paul mentioned that some believers had begun to stray and preach a different gospel.

You have also stated that you tried and failed at being a Christian. The feeling I get from your posts is that you are undecided, a spiritual stalemate. On one hand, you desire to remain a follower of Jesus and need help. On the other hand, you say that bad examples prevent you from doing so.

The New Testament is about a gospel of grace for the Gentiles as well as the Jews, It is God's grace which leads us home, not through our own efforts. We learn about His grace through our trusting Him. He will supply our needs as we cannot do so on our own. Thus, Jesus promised a helper to his disciples and his followers.

One day, we will all stand before God (including myself) to give an account of ourselves for Him to decide whether or not we are given eternal life. Even though we can defer the decision of following the will of God, our time on the earth will end at some point. God desires that no man be lost. However, God gives us the choice of whose will we prefer to follow: His, or ours. If you are serious about truly becoming a born again believer, the troops here take it seriously and are willing help you through prayer and guidance. Give God your heart; He will do the rest. Phil 4:8

I just thought that too, no one needed to know that my friend was bisexual.

Good evening CMD;
No worries. My feelings weren't hurt nor was I personally offended.

I do have a question for you regarding an item you keep referring to which has me puzzled. If I missed the answer, I apologize.
You claim that you're a failure before God. How so? May I inquire as to why you feel that way? Cheers, John

Why is it that I'm just a wicked sinner to your God? I am a fool, a lost dead soul to him. I can do nothing right without him, I can't love anyone unless he shows me how. I'm a wretched creature who thinks evil all day.

If I walked up to you and said that to your face, how would that make you feel. But it's ok that the Bible says that about us. Why?

You're just another human to God like all of the rest of us. He/Jesus is more. He's not willing that we perish but He will let us go on about our ignorant ways.

We are all dead in sin until we give our lives to Jesus. That's a fact of life my friend. If you don't want to be just a wicked sinner before God, come to Him and get cleaned up and get a brand new you.
In answer to your question 'How would that make me feel?' It was true of me as it is true of anyone who does not belong to Jesus. It made me feel the need to come to him.

If you were to see the truth of it, then you would fall on your knees and ask forgiveness. Which is what I did.

What would you do in knowing the sinner that you are, that there is redemption to be found in One who paid the ultimate price for you that your sins would be forgiven?

Christians have been given authority not to let a hypocrite lead them back onto the road to hell. Unbelievers have a tougher way resisting hypocrites. Both Christians and non-Christians are frequently affected by those people.

Curious your earlier comment about filling a glass 100% full that can't be added to without overflowing. If filled with water, adding some undiluted alcohol would not do that. The smaller molecules fit in between the larger water molecules. I don't like trying to make something spiritual from science, but in a small way the Spirit of God desires to enter you for your good, making a perfect fit filling that spiritual hole, but the decision to take up his invitation is still up to you. The fact you are inquiring is evidence he is working with you still. Whatever doubts you have from a past relationship with Jesus are subject to being erased like chalk on a chalkboard when you get back into His lordship.
