“And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute; when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed. But some of them said, ‘He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons.’ Others, to test Him, were demanding of Him a sign from heaven. But He knew their thoughts and said to them, ‘Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and a house divided against itself falls. If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul. And if I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? So they will be your judges. But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are undisturbed. But when someone stronger than he attacks him and overpowers him, he takes away from him all his armor on which he had relied and distributes his plunder. He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me, scatters.’” (Luke 11:14-23 NASB1995)

We live in a day and time when what is being called, “the church,” is very divided. On one side are those whose faith in Jesus Christ is genuine biblical faith. Those who believe in Jesus have died with Christ to sin, and they have been raised with Christ to walk in newness of life in him, no longer to live as slaves to sin but as slaves to God and to his righteousness. They have put sin to death, by the Spirit, and they are obeying God, in practice. Sin no longer has mastery over their lives, for they want to do God’s will.

On the other side of what is being called, “the church,” are those who have made verbal professions of faith in Jesus Christ with their lips, but their hearts are far from God. Sin is still what they practice, and not obedience to God. They are still the masters of their own lives, and so they do what they want to do without regard for God and for his plan and purpose for our lives. For they have accepted the lie which tells them that if they profess faith in Jesus, now all their sins are forgiven, and heaven is guaranteed them.

Now many of us who are teaching the gospel that was taught by Jesus and by his New Testament apostles are being accused of teaching what is false, that we are the liars, and not them, and that we are legalists and haters and disunifiers and the like who are trying to put a yoke on people that is not of God. So, in essence, they are accusing us of being of Satan and of doing his work when we are, in truth, doing the work of God according to what the Scriptures teach in their appropriate and biblical context, by God’s grace.

But they are supporting their lies by teaching the Scriptures out of context and by making them say what they do not say if taught in the appropriate context. Such as they teach John 10:28-30 without verse 27 which tells us who that applies to. And they teach Ephesians 2:8-9 without verse 10 which proclaims that we are created by God to do his good works. And they teach Romans 8:1 without verses 2-17 which completes the picture. And Romans 10:9 is being taught out of the context of the whole of the book of Romans.

What is “the church” which is divided? It is all who profess faith in Jesus with their lips but who live the opposite of the faith that Jesus and his apostles taught. They claim Jesus as their Lord while they remain lords over their own lives. They claim him as Savior of their sins, but while they continue living in their sins, and so they are not, in truth, saved from (delivered from) their sins. And they hide and they deny that they are sinners who need salvation by proclaiming that they are already saved by God’s grace.

And the true church, the biblical body of Christ, is all who have died with Christ to sin and who are now living to God and to his righteousness in walks of obedience to his commands in holy living and for whom sin is no longer their practice. But that does not make us perfect. It doesn’t mean that we will never or that we have never failed to be all who God designed us to be. It doesn’t mean that we can never fall away and need to be brought back into a right relationship with God. But then we must obey God and not sin.

For we cannot live for the devil and for God at the same time. The two don’t mix. We are either on the side of God or we are on the side of the devil. And how we choose to live our lives, in practice, determines which side we are on. For to be with God requires death to sin and walks of obedience to his commands, in practice. It requires that we learn to know the will of God and to do it, to follow our Lord wherever he leads us, and to do all that he requires of us in thought, in word, and in deed, all in his power and strength.

So, all who are still living in control over their own lives, making their own choices, doing their own will, and not the will of God, even if they profess faith in Jesus, they are not of God, and they will not stand when judgment comes. For the Scriptures make it clear that all who walk in sin will die in sin, and all who do not obey God, in practice, will not inherit eternal life with God, regardless of what their lips profess. But all who deny self, die to sin, and walk in obedience to God, in practice, will inherit eternal life with God.

My sheep hear me. They know me.
They listen to my voice and obey.
I call them and lead them.
They know my voice, so they follow me.
They will never follow strangers.
They will run away from them.
The voice of a stranger they know not;
They do not follow him.

So, I tell you the truth that
I am the gate, so you enter in.
Whoever does enter
Will find forgiveness and will be saved.
Nonetheless whoever enters
Not by the gate; other way,
He is the thief and a robber.
Listen not, the sheep to him.

Oh, I am the Good Shepherd,
Who laid his own life down for the sheep.
I know them. They know me.
They will live with me eternally.
The thief only comes to steal and
Kill and to destroy the church.
I have come to give you life that
You may have it to the full…

They know my voice, so they follow me.

All glory to God and to him alone. I am 75, believed in Jesus at age 7, and began teaching the Scriptures at age 16. Most of my life I have been a seeker of truth, wanting to know the truth while not accepting and embracing the lies. And it was God's will that I should begin sharing on the internet what he has been teaching me these past 21 years, as best as I understand it. By his grace alone, in his power alone, to his credit alone.

God bless you.

We are in the last days. Holy Spirit inspired Apostle Paul wrote "the time will come when they will not listen to the sound teaching, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts, and will turn away their ears from the Truth, and turn aside to fables" (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

And, just preceding that is "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Sound instruction is God's sound teaching; otherwise, shifting sand instruction is man's fallible fables.

Lord Jesus declares and commands "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:18-20).

God's blessing of allowing me to see an opponent to the Good Message's eye go from dark to light is such a wonderful event. For it is not I, but Christ in me. He delivers. He delivers the Good Message. He delivers the soul.

Peace,
Kermos

Kermos, thank you for reading, and thank you for your response and for sharing those Scripture passages. Nonetheless, I am not understanding your last sentence which begins with "God's blessing of allowing me to see.." So, if you would not mind, would you expand on that a little, for I do not understand what you are saying. Thank you kindly. Sue J Love

Greetings in the Name above all names,

As the prelude to an account of Lord Jesus having us go out to evangelize one day, it's important to remember that the Lord says "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness" (Matthew 6:22-23).

A serious seminary student stepped over to the canopy under a beautiful blue sky. He very recently completed his thesis with the conclusion that the Bible should be composed exclusively of the Pentateuch, Psalms, Proverbs, the Gospels, and Revelation. At first, he remained outside the canopy, but he came inside during the time we were discussing specific Scripture about the value of all 66 books. I recall when we were sitting down to pray, about an hour and a half later. At his turn, with his very first words, he sounded astonished at his own awareness as he vocally declared himself an unbeliever. No one interrupted for the Holy Spirit worked gloriously in that time. When he looked up after the prayer, I saw light in his eyes. There was a stark difference, his eyes were dark before and light after. The market closed, and the street needed to reopen for traffic. My family disassembled the canopy, and we moved about like a choreographed ballet smoothly placing Bibles and chairs and tables in the van, but, this day, the seminarian was close on my heels rapidly talking about rewriting his thesis. At one point, I released one corner of the tightly bound canopy, and I stepped slightly backwards to avoid getting hurt during the canopy collapse, but, unbeknownst to me, he was sooo close behind me that I tripped over his foot. As I attempted to stabilize myself, he grabbed me, apologizing, and very excitedly continuing to speak, I looked at him to see his great big smile still on his face, and I smiled at him. The incident was cute - he barely broke his stride as I told him not to worry about it. The last time I saw him was in the rear view mirror, standing near the curb where Christ's canopy had just been located, the Christian's arm stretched high, waving, his great big smile with beaming eyes.

God is glorious, and wonderful to be praised!

Joy,
Kermos

You been studying the Bible for 70 years?
Because of your age I'm going to let you slide.
I've never met a woman that has been given eyes to see anything other than their own understanding.

A kingdom divided cannot stand.

And yet here we are — watching a so-called “church” split right down the middle, torn between the voice of Christ and the lies of Scofield. On one side: the remnant who know His voice, deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Him. On the other side: a horde of political idolaters waving Israeli flags and quoting footnotes like Scripture — disciples not of Jesus, but of John Nelson Darby and the Zionist propaganda machine that hijacked the Gospel and sold it for 30 pieces of Rothschild silver.

Let’s be clear: the Body of Christ is Israel.
Not the Knesset. Not the bloodline of Esau or the 8th century, Gentile Khazarian converts who crucify Christ anew with their blasphemies (false Jews). The Church — the obedient, Spirit-born remnant — is the Israel of God (Galatians 6:16), grafted into the Promise by faith, not by flesh. If you deny that, you're not just mistaken — you're anti-Gospel.

So when you accuse the true Church — the obedient ones, the set-apart ones, the ones casting out demons by the finger of God — of being divisive, legalistic, or demonic, you’re not just mocking us. You're mocking Christ Himself. The same way the Pharisees did. And just like them, you hide behind a rotting religious system — built on UN/Rothschild land deeds, military alliances, and counterfeit covenants.

You preach grace with no obedience. Salvation with no repentance. A Messiah who came once to die and a different onewho’s coming back to hand out real estate in the Middle East. That’s not Christianity. That’s Satanic, end-times witchcraft.

And right now, most of what you call “the Church” is standing with Herod, not Jesus — with false, Christ-rejecting fake "ethnic Israel", not the Israel of God — with the very builders who rejected the Cornerstone and still spit on His name to this day.
They’ve traded the Gospel for geopolitics, the cross for a flag, and the Kingdom of Heaven for a Rothschild-funded war state. That’s not Christianity. That’s betrayal.

Repent. Or be cast out with the synagogue of Satan you defend.

To whom are you speaking these words? I don't see that you are addressing them to anyone specifically. You know that I stand with you on the subject of the physical nation of Israel and on the subject of who biblical Israel is and who the church really is, too. But I don't see where anyone was bringing up the subject of Israel in this thread. So, I wonder if you intended your comment to go on a different thread and that you misplaced it accidently. That did happen once before. Or am I missing something?

We are not in the last days
We are nowhere near the last days.

Hello Leumas,

You believe you. I believe the Apostle John "Little children, these are the end times, and as you heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen. By this we know that it is the final hour” (1 John 2:18).

I believe God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world (Hebrews 1:1-2).

The Apostle Peter says:

Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation."
(2 Peter 3:3-4).

Why do you mock?

Love,
Kermos

Friend, why do you produce an outburst of anger?

A person produces works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21) such as outbursts of anger thus such a one will not inherit the Kingdom of God, or a person has fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) such as kindness because such a one is indwelt by the Holy Spirit of the Living God!

In the promise of the Christ's resurrection,

You asked "And why do you call me friend?", and you'll find the word "Friend" a single time in the story of the wedding feast told by loving Lord Jesus Christ as recorded by the Apostle Matthew:

The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. And he sent out his slaves to summon those who had been summoned to the wedding feast, and they were unwilling to come. Again he sent out other slaves saying, ‘Tell those who have been summoned, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fattened livestock are all butchered and everything is ready; come to the wedding feast.”’ But they paid no attention and went their way, one to his own farm, another to his business, and the rest seized his slaves and mistreated them and killed them. But the king was enraged, and he sent his armies and destroyed those murderers and set their city on fire. Then he said to his slaves, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were summoned were not worthy. ‘Go therefore to the main highways, and as many as you find there, summon to the wedding feast.’ Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered together all they found, both evil and good; and the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests. But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes, and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless. Then the king said to the slaves, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ For many are summoned, but few are chosen.
(Matthew 22:2-14)

Interesting, Leumas, you vehemently preach that my opinion of you matters not one iota to you, yet you initiated unwarranted confrontational contact with me, not answering a single inquiry of you, all the while you persist in angrily responding to the posts which Lord Jesus causes me to compose to you.

In fact, your compound interrogative demonstrates a state of confusion internally within you because you lead off your question with "Did I not tell you Your opinion of me Means nothing to me" but in the very same question you express interest with your conjunction led "And why do you call me friend". God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33).

God's vessel of mercy,
Kermos
