COMFORT/COURAGE (3)
'There is a greater power with us than with Him' 2 Chronicles 32:7
If the pathway to success were well lit it would already be crowded. All progress begins with one question: 'What needs to be done?' And somebody needs to be asking that question-why not you? The future belongs to those who have the courage to ask that question and the faith to hang in until they discover the answer. When the obstacles look too big and opposition seems too strong, stand on this Scripture: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged...for there is a greater power with us than with him.'
What are you seeing that needs to be done? Maybe your group of friends is stuck in a rut of bickering, unforgiving, or simmering resentment. It takes initiative to step in and get things sorted in a Christ-like way. Perhaps you see a gap in your school - an opportunity for evangelism, outreach, or peace-bringing. That empty space can be filled with your creative, God-honouring solution.
It might not be comfortable. It might mean being unsettled. But take courage. And take the opportunity to be creative. If there's a lack of something in your life, it may be that God has something more profound for you than the normal, (or 'earthly', if you want to put it that way) solution could provide. Remember - there is a greater power with us than in the world!
What now? Go 'need-spotting' in your day to day life. Start with prayer and go from there!
