The “Unveiling of Jesus Christ” in Chapter 10. Is “RICH” I mean “RICH” thick oil! So much! When you get there, just let it run deep! You are going to have to come up for air!!! Let the Spirit of the Living God” show you, you don’t need a teacher, the teacher is in You! Just read the book!

By the time I read Ch. 10, I was in tears....hit hard by the Holy Ghost revealing to me the greatness & power of who my God is! My faith is built up having read thus far and It has taken me to another level in my walk, which is good for what we read is ahead in the future. Yes it is RICH... and when I came up for air, I found myself praying for others (saved & unsaved) to be woke to what is prophecied in this book for so many are asleep! Ch. 10: 8 -11 Could this sweet and bitter book possibly be the book of Revelation, as it was written by John and he was made to eat this sweet/bitter little book. Sweet in that we see our God answer the prayers of the saints, bringing in the New Heaven and New Earth destroying evil and then Bitter because of all the death and destruction that will occur in the transition...

You sure it isn't thick wine from deep vats you're imbibing to make you speak such grandiose pomposities?
Chapter 10 is simply an angel speaking to John and then being told not to let him write down what he had just heard, followed by John being told to eat the book and seal it until these Last Days.

Play around with God’s children, while the Holy Spirit is working with them, And God will deal with You!!! And I say that in the “Name of Jesus”. This is not a game!!!

You have not been reading correectly. Go back to Revelation 1:1 and start reading it as Revelation 1:1.
If you want to be a mystic go look for a Spiritualists chirch.
Christianity is for straight thinkers.

KJV version Rev. Ch. 1:1 "The Revelation of Jesus Christ......" this is two fold meaning 1. From Christ but also 2. the Unveiling of Jesus Christ.
John 5:39 says "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me". John 16:13-14 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you".... that is what I experienced while I read Revelation.

Upon doing some more Googling -- it would appear that there are some teachings / teachers who are trying to cause unneeded tension amongst various groups such as Jews / Muslims.

There is lots and lots going on in Matt 24.

One thing is very important -- every person needs to be ready spiritually -- do 'we' have personal assurance that we will be with Christ when our time does come.

@r1xlx -- sorry , but the comments about the rapture and what they do during the Millennium is not Bible based.

Someone was saying that the Jews aren't God's chosen people. Well -- they Are -- but they haven't accepted Jesus Christ as their Promised Messiah.

There are several other articles that can be clicked into at the bottom of that page. One is saying that the Church and Israel Are Separate. And, yes, this subject has always been debated.

Salvation -- Jesus Christ was reject by the Jewish people as their promised Messiah but in the New Testament salvation is extended to the Gentiles.

There are still Jewish people -- both Messianic and those by birth. And there is the Church. It came to be after the cross.

Revelation 7 talks about the 144,000 Jews taken from the 12 tribes vs 14 And that is talking about the future. Those 144,000 are going out to evangelize the Jewish people. Do they All accept Jesus Christ , we don't know. vs 9 & 10 talks about the great multitudes who come to faith. "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."

Chapter 10 is simply
But it brought Mir to tears. I keep re-reading ch. 10 as PloughBoy recommended.

Fragrant Grace said in the last sentence of #57:
It needs to be grasped verse by verse.
Revelation is truly symbolic. As many are finding there, it’s a multidimensional book and each time it’s read by a person and persons, new information is revealed. This is what causes the ‘Confusion’ that is talked of by posters in this thread: some are trying to read it as though it were a linear story book.
In fact, it is not even ‘chapter —> next chapter’ absolute.
The true interpretation is given to whom God ALLOWS it to be interpreted by... the first thing is not to think of yourself as THE GOD GIVEN INTERPRETER but pray only that God should use you to be so... and if not then do not be annoyed [At God??!!!]

The quote from Fragrant Grace, above, illustrates how easy it is to bring a wrongful mind to interpretation (the quote.. not Fragrant Grace!) in that I had a thread concerning the word ‘Grasp’ and what it meant. Nearly everyone claimed (kind of) that it meant:
  • ‘Hold on to’
whereas, I said it meant:
  • ‘Reach out to [try to] take hold of’
Now, take that quote from FG and see which meaning fits. Is it:
  1. “It needs to be [Held on to] verse by verse.” ... or
  2. “It needs to be [reached out to try to take hold of] verse by verse.”
For me, clearly 2. is correct. One cannot ‘hold onto’ something that has not yet been taken hold of.

Why does this example matter? Because Revelation will throw MANY COMPLICATED curve-balls at you which, if you HOLD ON TO preconceived ideologies, then you will fall into deep dark holes of confusions and misconceptions.

As is said on the game show, ‘Catchphrase’ (do you have it outside the UK?) ... ‘Say what you see’ (not what YOU are TOLD to say’.

In other words, interpretation is not based on preconceived ideology...:
  • Who is speaking to whom
  • What is doing what
  • When is what being done to whom
  • Whom is doing what to whom
  • Define whom and do not mingle ideas
  • Compile who speaks what
  • There are hierarchies of persons - list them and reference them back up this list of bullet points
  • Reference Torah (O.T.) text for support
At the risk of critical and being called hypocrite, I will give one hint at something crucial:
  • In the O.T. Almighty God is called ‘Lord’... he is ‘First and Last’... he is the israelite’s ONLY GOD... their RULER
  • In the N.T. this Almighty God GIVES HIS POWER AND AUTHORITY to ‘his Son’ ... so this Son is now ‘Lord’...
  • There are not TWO ‘Lords’... The ‘Lordship’ has been DELEGATED to the Son
  • With regard to Almighty God, Acts 2:36 says:
    • “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah."
I say these things to help dispel the idea that Jesus, the Son is Almighty God.. this will, if accepted, will aid in your understanding of your compiled lists as bullet pointed.... otherwise you will continually and everlastingly claim tat Revelation is ‘Confusing’.

I am really eager to see what each of you interprets or simply reads into your belief of Revelation.

It is interesting that thought the exercise is still in the ‘read-only’ stage, there are those who are already expressing wrongful interpretations.

Im intrigued how anyone can read that God gave Jesus a Revelation:
  • “The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,”
And yet say here that ‘Jesus is God’.

An interesting discussion follows if the one giving to another is the same one who is the one who receives what was given!

Jesus gave, via the angel, to John what God gave directly to Jesus ... if Jesus is God because God gave Jesus the Revelation... then logically, the Angel must be Jesus because Jesus gave that revelation to the angel to give to John. And John must be the angel because the angel gave him the revelation that Jesus gave to the angel - who thus must be Jesus... and since Jesus is God because God gave Jesus the revelation, then the angel is God, also, and, ipso facto, John is also GOD! So goes the false reading!!

But the text says: ( ‘—>’ : ‘Gave Revelation to’)

[Almighty God —> Jesus Christ]
[Jesus Christ —> Holy Angel]
[Holy Angel —> Apostle John]
[Apostle John —> human Congregation]

Simple! How is it gotten from this that Jesus is Almighty God?

See what I mean...If responders here are stumbling at the very first verse... the OP is going to have a very difficult time with interpretations that are so far removed from truth that no credible agreements will be achieved.

I see you might not understand this post, for I am the one who started it. It is a “Read” without any out side “instructions” “no guides” no distractions. Just obeying the word of God! You could if like start a post of your own. “How to read and interpret the book of Revelation “! You are distracting the readers. It has no intentions of people giving their “interpretations”. When they finish reading. They will create their own post. Because if this type of action continue., as such, I will ask for the post to be close. Then those “Teachers of Revelation” May start their classes”. And instruct in a more perfect way. Shalom
