Thankful for the Dead Sea Scrolls but what does their discovery truly mean as evidence ?

Thanks. Living our lives, and I pray for you and yours as well.
May Jesus fill us with his love and wisdom

I know these are personal messages that everybody can read. Tried to call you a few times, but it's okay.

I'm out of the nursing home now and back at the house, probably four more weeks of Rehabilitation.

I think we are in the calm before the storm - spiritually

I believe scripture would establish this

Messiahמָשַׁח “ is the Hebrew word “ Mâshachmeaning = Anointed / Concentrated

But this word is not an exclusive code word for Jesus Christ himself specifically, in fact, there are times in Biblical history where all of Israel are obedient and they are called themselves as receiving the Anointing / Messiah .

Lev 7:36 Which the LORD commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he Messiah / anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.

Also, Kings, Prophets and Priests are also called the = Messiah

1Sa 26:9 And David said ….. do not destroy Saul …… the LORD'S Messiah = King Saul
The LORD forbid I should stretch forth mine hand against Saul - the LORD'S Messiah = King Saul

Through the Old Testament in over 60 + verses, the Kings, Prophets and Priests are called as the Messiah

- - Lev 4:16 the priest that is Messiah

This Hebrew word is used 100 + total times in the Old Testament referring even to Israel themselves, and to Kings, Priests and Prophets, they also, being themselves Messiah / Mâshach “ Anointed / Concentrated.

But in the King James Version the translators take this Hebrew word that is translated over 100 + times as “ Anointed “ by the translators and they change / convert the English word, Anointed, back into Hebrew, as “ Messiah / Mâshach “ 2 total times in the book of Daniel

Dan 9:25 ...to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah ……. :26 ……shall Messiah be cut off ...
This is what the reader sees when they read the King James,

and the Catholic Translation changes the English word Anointed over into the Greek word as Christ in 8 places where they feel it is about Jesus, leaving the other 100 + instances as Anointing.

But this is not how the Old Testament readers understood the passage at the time it was written,
Messiahמָשַׁח “ is found 100 + times in the Old Testament referring to many, many people in many circumstances and is not a code word orbiting specifically centering strictly upon a coming savior.

The English Translators insert the Greek and Hebrew words “ Messiah “ and “ Christ “ back into the Old Testament when it seems to be referring to Jesus as the “ Messiah / Christ

But the other 100 + times they always translate it into English as simply the Anointing.

So much could be said back and forth, I was not trying to lay claim to judge or know how the Prophets and people understood the passages but simply to show that there was no real understanding of a profound certain expectation that someone like Jesus would come along someday simply based upon the usage of the word “ Messiah “ - - this word applies over 100 + times to everyday people, Priests, Kings, Prophets and even common Hebrew men and women .

We can look at Catholic and Protestant translations and see the Hebrew and Greek words Christ and Messiah inserted where it seems to be about Jesus “ the Anointing “ but this is not the way it was written in Hebrew to show a clear distinction.

furthermore

The Scriptures commend, glorify, give praise and honor to Abraham and Sarah as Godly people who truly did believe in the word of God but still did not fully understand God in every aspect according to his word - but still had faith in God and trusted him

From the plain Hebrew manuscripts can we truly show an example of anyone with the same characteristics as Jesus Christ previously having appeared to the Jews and working in their midst and making claims to be God himself as the “ Messiah “ ?

Does not the scriptures demonstrate that Just as Abraham and Sarah, God will have mercy upon the Jews ?

Rom 11:25 ……. it is a mystery……… that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.

:26 all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

:27 For this is my covenant unto them,
WHEN I shall take away their sins.

Is it honest to ask the question : ?

Was it also God’s mercy that Abraham and Sarah, in the conception of Isaac, were found honorable and Godly and justified while not fully understanding and fully receiving the real plan of the prophetic word of God through their own limited human understanding …

Rom 4:3 Abraham believed God, and it was acounted / reckoned / thought unto him for righteousness.

In conclusion, we also can look how that Mary and Joseph reacted when they found Mary was pregnant, Mary reacted in complete confusion, even after the Angel appeared unto her explaining everything to her

Luk 1:34 Mary said unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

This was Mary’s reaction, complete shock, fear and confusion, she knew nothing and expected nothing of the nature concerning what the Angel had just explained to her.

The Angel appeared to her and explained everything about the prophecy and the plan of God but yet she is asking = = How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

also - Joseph, also, he was not waiting and watching for a virgin birth and wondering if his new pregnant wife was possibly to bear the “
Messiah “ of prophecy that was so clearly explained in scripture.

Joseph was afraid and living in complete sadness and fright that he was going to have to put away his pregnant fiancée …

I just hope we can see the reality of what God has done in that his plan truly was a mystery and truly hidden, kept secret and it was truly understood as more of a spiritual, symbolic application to Hebrew people reading prophecy .

well, no one was, because that prophecy just says young woman, and was fulfilled in the days of the prophet who spoke it.

everyone focuses on the virgin birth but i have to ask the question if the male dna for Jesus came from Joseph and he was a little too weirded out to ever give his recollection of that experience.

its sort of like me: God healed my prostate of internal organ damage from childhood and there's really just no way I'm ever going to tell anyone in real life that: not only did God heal my own physical trauma behind my conscious back of what that trauma was, but a certain well known crazy person at church, texted me at 11 pm at night and told me that she saw it happen. we have never spoken of that matter again.
