Must be heavy how you are running that race as if works are for obtaining salvation by rather than for the high prize of our calling to be that vessel unto honor in His House by His grace & by His help.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Hebrews 4:1Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. 3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
How do you apply those verses above to your walk with Him in discipleship? Or can you apply them at all with that faith without works being dead, thus inferring that you have to keep doing works to keep yourself saved or to obtain salvation.
Seems like we should be able to run that race with joy, knowing we are saved because Jesus Christ being in us is how we can lay aside every weight & sin daily by faith in Jesus Christ enabling us to do this for why His yoke is easy & His burden is light. Yep. Even little children can do this by looking to Him as their Good Shepherd too for why they are free to come to Him for all they can do is trust the Lord at His word.
Look at how we are saved as not by the will of the flesh nor by the will of man, but of God by all those who believe in Him, even in His name.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
So discipleship in running that race is not for obtaining salvation but for the high prize of our calling to be received by Him as that vessel unto honoring His House when we are running that race by faith in Jesus Christ to help us to follow Him daily as we can only live that reconciled relationship with God through Jesus Christ for we surely cannot finish it by the flesh nor will of man for that would be the foolish thing to do and Paul said so as led by the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 3:1O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? 4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
Galatians 5:1Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage....
5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:... 11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
So that is the only way the just shall live, by faith in Jesus Christ, as we shall find ourselves able to follow Him since He is our Good Shepherd and we can trust Him to fulfill the New Covenant to us to His glory when He brings us Home by His righteousness & His faithfulness as He will do also for those disqualified from the race that gets left behind.
I hope Jesus helps you to find your rest in Him so you can see how His yoke is easy & His burden light as we get to know Him & the power of His resurrection when relying on Him all the time thus resting in Him for running that race as He will finish it to His glory, not ours as the crowns we shall wear are His actual crowning achievements in us testifying to His workmanship in our lives in bringing us Home to His glory.
Have you ever taken classes on “Evangelism” do you know the difference between “Evangelism” and The “Koinonia” among The “Saints” of GOD! There is a difference a Hugh Gulf between the 2. How can you give a “Evangelistic” message to A Child of The Living GOD!
That is futile!

It is obvious, by the mixture of the partialities of The Biblical texts you compile to try to school others. You do not know the difference. Between “Evangelism”, Edification of The Saints and pastoral messages, The message for the unconverted believers, which we call “Nominals”,the unconverted unbelievers, And those believers who do not abide in The Vine, and The young believers and The Old believers, and those who are Luke Warm. And I do perceive, you cannot discern the difference as you engage another. So that is why you are All over The place, with the “Biblical Text”!
Years ago, among The “Presbyterians”, they use to say; in the back room.
“Do not give a “Monkey a Machine Gun” especially in a Crowded room.
I lot of things go on and said, in the “”Pastoral Study [office]. That the “Congregation or The Laymen” ears will never hear. And when I was young, first entering The Pastoral Ministry, I could not believe The things I heard in All the Pastoral Offices I entered and Stories and confessions I have heard and The things I have observed in these studies.! I know Christians. I got over 40 years of confessions, white and black, and Hispanic, male and female! Some of these people you would not dream that would do something like that, some of these Christian women, look like they are so “Holy”, if told the truth, people would hate me the more. And they be praising these people. It is not that I would look down on the people that commit such acts, but my concern was or is the others have no kind of Discernment to be able to Spiritually discern. But I know other Pastors have mention my discernment of Discerning things is remarkable. They are the ones who have describe it as a gift, not me, it just normal way of a plain life.
Example:
You know when a woman got the lots for you, nobody got to tell you, you know!
To me it is normal, discernment.
When you are around a Alcoholic you know it, and they are not even drinking. When you around a constant liar you know it, when you around a person who has commit a abortion, you know it by that person conversation and what some call their “aura”you know a gambler, by the things the say and they don’t even mention gambling, you know a Adultery by the way they smell, it written all over them, you cannot hide that, I don’t care how holy you dress. Just like Moses came off that mountain he was glowing! So does a adulterer. They can’t not hide that to save their life! It is normal for me to pick that stuff up. It ain’t nothing special, I treat everybody the same, Pentagon, President of government services, CEO’s. , they are everywhere, Choir directors, on yes I used to direct church choirs and male chorus and lead singer of Certain Church songs, I know a lot them. I Have serve “Communion “ I have even played the Voice of GOD in Church plays! I have even Played Joesph Mary’s husband in Church plays. That is right, Jesus step daddy.
Boy that “Institutionalise Church” has bought me a long way! They had another play, I was not in. All of the Pastors was sitting in the front row. So this usher was playing “Mary Magdalene” came down by me, dancing, Twirling around and sat down in my lap, turning in my lap. I didn’t know what do, she was a lot older than me. the whole congregation started laughing at me, she was sticking her tongue out at me like a serpent!!! Rolling her eyes at me! The Whole church was laughing at me a young “Minister” and a hard line Gospel Preacher! they was so happy to see her in my lap! Finally when the play was over, all the pastors went to the study, They said they could not believe what the woman did to me right there in the church! From then on when they any thing going On I sat in the back row! That woman gave me a lap dance in the middle of a full church and lick her tongue out at me!
Now mind you I was maybe about 27 or 28 years old then, strong strapping man and built like a “Mississippi Mule”!
That Institutionalise Church, was not like I thought it was. It is different when it get close up and personal. When you are on the front line. You would not believe some stuff I have encountered there! Help me Jesus! that ain’t no joke! Shoot the Chief! And they all will scatter!
And I stop shaking hands with the congregation too! And when I was young, those old sister want to kiss you on the lips and then the young ones will sneak in there too! I put a stop to that, I would go straight to the office and lock the door! “Now” they say; he Anti- sociable. he is mean, he things he better than everybody. “his mouth ain’t no prayer book”. Yes we know he like old and mature women” and when you speak to the older women, the young ones gets mad at you, they tell you, that you don’t say hi to them, they be mad. Then you get scared, you know they will lie in you! If they lied on Jesus they show will lie on you!
I am going stop right here. I am scared of those women, and those “Beta males” are something else too!
The Beta Male is jealous as I don’t know what! He have no idea what a “Alpha” has to go through! Especially if he is just a “Alpha” not working to be one. He don’t realize “That Jezebel” she is an “Alpha” too, like a “Praying mantis”
Another short “Testimony” about The “Abundant Life” of A Child of The Living GOD! And not like the abundant life of A child of this world. For they are different like the difference between Heaven and Hell!
“7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed;
we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
