mymakersdaughter I want to address this principly to you.If you read this thread right from the outset you notice a change in your style and tone of your writing.Without getting into whos "right" on this issue,I would recommend that you leave legendary to his beliefs.Although I dont think for one minute he is stupid,he is certainly closed minded.It seems to me that all you are achieving is losing your own peace.Even jesus could not convince everyone of the truth so much less us as imperfect human beings.I have always enjoyed talking with you and like reading your thought-provoking posts but I think you need to stop banging your head against this particular brick wall.Your time would be best spent elsewhere on other subjects with those who have receptive hearts.Peace and love sis-sparky(I havent talked to you for ages!)

Legendaryu2k maybe this will help.Upon jesuses return to his deciples to prove to thomas (the doubter).That he was indeed resurected.When thomas(the doubter)saw his hands and feet and touched his side.He fell to his knees and said my lord MY GOD and jesus did not correct him.Again you claim you know the bible there is your answer.I mean do you really think god would answer every question for us or do you think he might want us to seek and find the answers for ourselves to prove we actually will go the distance. Yes through out our lives god will continue to teach us.but we cant expect him who has done so much already to do it all.God is our king not our babysitter. just my opinion! Talk Jesus is a friendly friendly atmosphere to PRAISE AND WORSHIP JESUS CHRIST, not debate. It is not a debate forum, period.

Learn to be humble and respectful, Truthful. There are 2800 members and once in a blue moon we get folks like you who have a love to argue and debate.

Dear brothers and sisters,

After reading and meditating your posts I just wanted to share a lesson we all can learn here. I don't need to quote scriptures. Most of you have been blessed with the discipline in your study in the Word to understand what I am saying here. As moderator my job is not just providing tech support and securing Talk Jesus from the antichrist. I really feel its my call from our Father to minister when appropriate in such cases as this topic.

As we seek our Father first, LOVE Him first, and exalt Him first, we are to LOVE our brothers and sisters as He commands us. We who have been through our childish ways have grown in spiritual maturity.

Yeshua's thread was meat to chew on and Godly wisdom to prepare us to be effective witnesses. As effective witnesses, we also have to remember that we are to carry the different metaphors that describe the rigors of leadership;
slave, athlete, teacher, farmer, workman, vessel, and soldier of Christ.

As leaders (those of spiritual maturity, not necessary title) must lead, feed, nurture, comfort, and correct. We must also exemplify sacrifice, devotion, submission, and lowliness.

The young man who was banned, yes, he is entitled to his opinion, though a bit misguided in the Word along with protecting his ego. That is because most of our brothers and sisters stood firm for Christ backed with scripture. When we speak the Word and Truth, gently, knowing that Jesus is carrying us, then no need to take it any further than that. JESUS ALWAYS WINS!

Yeshua's quote above in this post is correct. Sparky, your address to Mymakersdaughter is an expression of your opinion but what is the result? It did not sustain unity. On our end all of us, not just Mymakersdaughter needs to express the Truth and scripture out of gentleness and LOVE. Let His Word and Spirit do the rest. No need for anger or attempting to convince the young man from just one post.

I hope the Holy Spirit will work through him and his wife. I hope the Holy Spirit will break the walls and allow Jesus to work within him. And then God will lead the way for the life He has prepared for this person.

I also hope the young new believers and teens who read this will read, meditate, and learn from Yushua's original thread, Believe God became a Man.
