I see you have two threads on this topic, so obviously something must be bothering you very much.
One of the few wise men I have ever met on the face of this planet once said, "The only people who will wind up in hell are those people who want to be there." This doesn't seem like you.
So I now need to ask, what do you think the "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" means? Just what is it?
Blessings,
Rhema
I don't think that's the case. (And I see you put a question mark there.)blasphemy is speaking evil against the Holy Spirit?
Yes I want to pm you. How tho? I'm still new to this. thank you very muchhI don't think that's the case. (And I see you put a question mark there.)
Is there any specific "type" or kind of evil speaking in particular?
Have you ever heard the Holy Spirit speak directly to you?
There's more I have to say, but I'm trying to find out exactly what's going on.
And yes, I can see that you're scared, but these thoughts aren't telling you to hurt yourself, are they?
In God's peace,
Rhema
Please feel free to PM me if you think it best.
I started the conversation for you. At the top of the page on the right, there should be a number above your avatar. Click on that, and then on the icon that is supposed to look like a conversation bubble used in comic books. (It too should have a number on it.) That should get you there.Yes I want to pm you. amen Thank you so muchhh for the explanationWhen most readers read about the "unpardonable sin" of blaspheming the Holy Spirit, they tend to read only Mark 3:28-29 but leave out verse 30 - "because they SAID , "He has an unclean spirit." Years ago, the Lord gave me the honor of witnessing to an "out of control" teen in my community. He had been in so much trouble that it seemed as if he was just destined to spend his life in and out of some sort of correctional facility. When I asked him about Jesus Christ and church, he told me that his mother ( a church goer) told him that he had committed the sin that GOD will never forgive; that he had blasphemed the Holy Spirit so he would only go to Hell. So, I asked this troubled youth, "Did you see a supernatural display of healing or display of power that could only have been done by the power of GOD, and say that it was an act of the devil?" "No," he replied. Then, I told him, "Then you have NOT blasphemed the Holy Spirit." I explained to him that to see a mighty work that could ONLY be done by GOD and SAY that it was a work of the devil would be to slander...blasphemed the Holy Spirit. His countenance changed, somewhat. And, every time he saw me, he was respectful. I believe that the Lord sent me to him to restore his hope. Those of us that have been redeemed have been crucified with Christ (Galatians 2:20) and the Holy Spirit, who dwells within us, would never blaspheme Himself because He takes from Christ and bestows what our Lord wants us to do and to say. IN CHRIST, there is NO CONDEMNATION (Romans 8:1) but the enemy will try to send things to our minds like doubt and temptations, to distract us from the one thing that WOULD please the Lord: Worshipping our Father in Heaven. Let's apply Philippians 4:8 and Ephesians 5:18 - 21 to better our "thoughts". When we do this, there will be ZERO chance of blaspheming either the Holy Spirit, King Jesus, or our Loving, Faithful Father in Heaven. Amen?
Praying for peace for your mind. I understand onslaught of thoughts and even this fear. But I know one thing, God is one of grace and mercy. A truly repentant heart is not one He will allow to go to Hell.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.

Jessica, thoughts are just thoughts. Blasphemy is an outright purposeful Rejection of something the Holy Spirit actually did, which can either be a miracle that you saw, OR, something that the HS said to you. And trust me, if the HS speaks to you, you'll know it. At that point, it would be unwise to reject what is said. But Rejection is more than just grumbling about something, after which one comes around to understand and agree with what the HS said.can i ask a question?
if I didn't witness something done by the holy spirit then I didn't commit the unforgivable sin?
what about this blasphemous thoughts?
thank youu
Thank you so much. Now it's clearer. I'm tormented again by blasphemous thoughtsJessica, thoughts are just thoughts. Again, the unforgivable sin is not all that hard to understand. It's rather simple, because it's any sin that a person denies having done. Hey, how could God forgive somebody if they claim that they didn't do it? (Can't forgive him, HS, he didn't do it !! You can't forgive somebody for something that somebody didn't do... and he says he didn't do it.)
Since one of the responsibilities of the HS is to convict us of sin, it would be blasphemy to deny that one committed a sin for which the Holy Spirit said directly to you, "Hey... that's a sin, you know...." When the HS convicts our heart, then we Repent.
Hope this helps, Be blessed (and that means let yourself BE blessed by God),

But please understand that these can be forgiven.Thank you so much. Now it's clearer. I'm tormented again by blasphemous thoughts
like 95% of the time they aren't yours. speak against them, fight them off. they will change their game and what they say to you once you figure out these thoughts are not from your own mind.Thank you so much. Now it's clearer. I'm tormented again by blasphemous thoughts
Thank youu. and again I know this thoughts are not mine but what if I felt like the H.S. left melike 95% of the time they aren't yours. speak against them, fight them off. they will change their game and what they say to you once you figure out these thoughts are not from your own mind.

Garee, Where might there be scripture to support that claim? It was forgivable when the Son of man Jesus was here . When he left it was not forgivable...
