I love listening to the sermons from the old old preachers when I can find them like the late 1800 n early 1900...
I also like the stories that the monks tell like how they came to be a monk.. so many left a life of riches..I love how they speak about the beauty of the most simplest thing like crickets or how the streams flow n all that stuff... perhaps I'm just a nerd bird at heart...

There is a difference, between knowing who God is, and living as God wants you to live.
There are some who call themselves Christians, yet fail miserably when it comes to living the life of a Christian as Jesus has asked us to. And the simple fact is this they forget to love their neighbor as themselves.
Those who strive to live the life that Jesus asks of us learn about being baptized, join a group at a church, and grow deeper in their love of God. And so they reach the understanding to love God with all their heart to love God with all her spirit to love God with all of their mind and love God with all of their strength.
But there are other people who do not reach a fullness of understanding of Jesus during this Lifetime on Earth. These are the ones that Paul talks about in Romans 2:13 thru 15 " it is not listening to the law but keeping it that will make people holy in the sight of god. For instance, pagans who never heard of the law but are led by a reason to do what the law commands, may not actually possess the law, but they can be said to be the law. They can point to the substance of the law engraved on their hearts".
Also in Romans is a verse that is often misunderstood it's also in chapter 2 verse 28 and 29.
Before I read the verse I will explain why it is misunderstood. The reason is that because it mentions the word Jew, that everyone jumps to the conclusion that it is about the Jews. When it's I actually talking about Christians. Paul is trying to explain that being a Jew or being a Christian for this matter, is not the name, it's not the title, it's not the way a person actually looks, the true Jew or the true Christian person who falls in love with God which is what a Jew should be is someone who loves God with their heart. And it is the heart that God looks at not anything else.
So here is the reading
" to be a Jew is not to just look like a jew, and circumcision is more than just a physical operation. The real Jew is the one who is inwardly a Jew, and the real circumcision is in the heart, something not of the letter but of the spirit. A Jew like that may not be praised by a man, but he will be praised by God."
This is why you will often hear me say, you can stand on the roof and Shout to the hills and mountains that Jesus Christ is Lord and savior, but if you don't have love in your heart you have nothing.

Our salvation is from sin (Matthew 1:21) and sin is the transgression of God's law (1 John 3:4), so while we do not earn our salvation as the result of obeying it, living in obedience to it through faith in Christ is nevertheless intrinsically part of the concept of him saving us from not living in obedience to it. In Titus 2:11-14, our salvation is described as being trained by grace to do what is godly, righteous, and good, and to renounce doing what is ungodly, so we are not saved as the result of having done those works and we do not do those works as the result of having been saved, but rather God graciously teaching us to do those works is itself the content of His gift of saving us from not doing those works. A Christian is by definition a follower of Christ and Christ is God's word, so in other words, a Christian is by definition a follower of God's word, which means that all Christians are being saved from not following God's word and all who are being saved from not following God's word and Christians.
Our actions speak louder than our words, so someone who lives in a way that is following Christ's example is a Christian regardless of whether or not they recognize with their words that that is what they are doing.
The Bible speaks about our salvation in the past, present, and future tenses, so we have been saved from the penalty of our sin (Ephesians 2:5), we are being saved from continuing to live in sin (Philippians 2:12), and we will be saved from God's wrath on the da of the Lord (Romans 5:9-10). Likewise, in Titus 2:11-14, Jesus gave himself to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people of his own possession who are zealous for doing good works, so it these verses are describing both past and present aspects of our salvation. So while it is true that we can't become more saved in the sense that Jesus has paid the penalty of our sins, there is still salvation in the ongoing present where we are being trained by grace to obey God's law. In other words, our salvation would be incomplete if we were only saved from the penalty of our sins while we continued to live in sin.

True to a degree. Christians are told to do unto others as they want done unto them and to love their neighbor as themselves.
Christians, however are not God. We are still 'humans' and as such will never be perfect like God Mark 10:18.
In heaven, there will still be Christians that get annoyed with one another. I would not say we ever 'hate' anyone. We need to all face the reality that we will be living next door to imperfect people for eternity. Just as your neighbors in heaven need to prepare themselves for you.

Anyone can be saved. Scripture is crystal clear in John 3:16 that the 'whomsoever' can be saved and that God 'wills' all to be saved 1 Tim 2:4.
But in the context of a 'non-Christian' going to heaven, no. God is not a fool that grafts a demon into heaven.
The mistaken assumption of 'thinking' we are Christians en-route to heaven is all on us. This is why Paul has so many warnings to the church, exhorting them constantly to judge and examine themselves. Ensuring that they are in fact in the faith / saved Christians.
1 Cor 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
Phil 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

No, you can not be Christian, and be saved!!!
That being said, does not mean that when you are before the Lord at judgment that you have to be a professed Christian during your lifetime.
I know this may sound confusing, but many are jumping to a conclusion, that you have to be "a professed Christian", such as a Baptist or a Catholic.
We have to remember what Paul States, when he is talking about what it is to be a Jew. Because when he is talking about this he's not only talking about the Jews, he is talking about what it is to be a Christian.
Paul says to be a Jew is not to look like a Jew outwardly but to be a Jew inwardly. He says that the true Jew is one whose heart is circumcised.
This is also true with what it means to be a Christian. The true Christian is not one who professes to be a Christian. The true Christian is the one whose heart is circumcised. And the true Christian is the one that may not be admired by people but he will be by God.
So going back to what I said in the beginning, about being a Christian. The true Christian whose heart is circumcised will always be a Christian whether they know it or not.

I would question the idea whether they know it or not ?
How could they deny Christ is working in them to both (the key) that the gates of hell could never prevail against to (#1) reveal his will and (2#) and empower them to do it according to the power of His will In that way we have the power of the gospel as a treasure in our new born again hearts but would never say the power is of dying mankind .
Philipians 2:13-14 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. (powerless, no faith that could believe. )
In Deuteronomy 30:1-10, it prophesies about a time when the Israelites will return from exile, God will circumcise their hearts, and they will return to obedience to the Torah. In Ezekiel 36:26-27 and Jeremiah 31:33, they are speaking in regard to the New Covenant the Israelites returning from exile, and God circumcising our hearts by means of the Spirit, where God will take away our hearts of stone, given us hearts of flesh, and send His Spirit to lead us in obedience to the Torah, and where he will put the Torah in our minds and write it on our hearts. In Romans 2:25-29, the way to recognize that a Gentile has a circumcised heart is by observing their obedience to the Torah and circumcision of the heart is a matter of the Spirit, which is in contrast with Acts 7:51-53, where those who have uncircumcised hearts resist the Spirit and do not obey the Torah.
A Christian is someone who seeks to follow what Christ taught by word and by example and what Christ taught by word and by example was how to obey the Torah. Our salvation is from sin (Matthew 1:21) and it is by the Torah that we have knowledge of what sin is (Romans 3:20), so while we do not earn our salvation as the result of obeying it, living in obedience to it through faith in Christ is nevertheless intrinsically part of the concept of him saving us from not living in obedience to it. It is contradictory for someone who thinks that they don't need to obey the Torah to also think that they need salvation from not living in obedience to it, which would be contrary to them believing the Gospel message.

Sadly, sister there are people who do many sins, who also do them in the name of God, in the name of Jesus!
I'll not be governed by the sinner, but by the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit in my life!
No matter what they call themselves!
Think of it this way. Were they any more or less believers before being called Christians, the Way, or were they any more or less afterwards in the days prior to any Words being used to identify the followers of Christ Jesus were placed upon them by an unbelieving World?
Let the World call me what they will, for it is in Christ Jesus that I seek to live a life that is His and it is to Him that I'm accountable to and not those marching lock step into Hell.
I've said this before: If they come searching house to house looking for Christians, I know who they are looking for! They are seeking followers of Christ Jesus! I will call them on it, for I will not deny my Lord and Savior Jesus! At least I pray not, because I'm no Job, and I know my weaknesses. Make it swift and send me Home to Gloryland! If otherwise, then God grant me the ability to overcome in His Spirit whatever lays ahead for these old bones to go through, that I may go Home to be with Him!
They come to my door a knocking. I'll answer..."Let me tell you about my Jesus!"

Would you think about this for a minute. If you follow Jesus and do what he tells you and teaches you to do through the scripture. What does that make you? Does that make you a follower of Jesus? What is a Christian?

I'm taught by the Father.. man is not trust worthy..
When I followed man alls I learned how to do real well is steal lie n even murder..
I learned to hurt the one that hurt me.. I learned an eye for an eye..

Dear Sister,
There are many truths to speak of, yet not all truths are spoken of. Not all Christians are what you believe, though you were told to separate yourself from them. For surely though told to separate yourself from them, He did not say that none of them were His. That is the truth is it not? Now many if not most may even be as you say, but you don't throw out the baby with the bathwater. Like I said, I'm sure he did not tell you denigrate them on the way out the door either! Which is what you are doing when you don't add "many, some, those etc." in mentioning Christians in the negative.
So, use adverbs to specify that it is not everyone who calls themselves Christians, but those who are liars and cheats, murderers even, who probably are even lying to themselves that you are talking about. Doing so, by adding that little adverb, you communicate to those who are believers, His followers in truth that though they may identify themselves as Christians that you are not talking about them. Why cause a greater heartache to a Brother or Sister in Christ Jesus, then they are already going through and will continue to go through? Also, don't assume that they will know that you are not talking about them and just the corrupters. This is why I speak of what I do to you.
